Last but certainly not least is the mayor of the town. Original planed as my insert he now became his own character.

He is a rather young mayor, even younger than most the other villagers, but he is still well respected all around and takes good care of the town.

There might be more characters in the future based on what I continue to build, but for now, that is all.

Almost at the end, we have the brothers. The older one is a fisher, while the younger is the farmer.

They both share their love for the outdoors, but luckily, since the fisher mostly lives in his hut now, they don't have to share a room anymore. They still like each other, but their sibling banter keeps the whole town awake.

Next are the twins, who share very similar jobs in beekeeping and pet caretaking.

Since their jobs are very similar, one might take on the others job aswell so one of the sisters can venture out into a new venture. (I still have some ideas to build that's why I might change their jobs around in the future).

The second two characters are the kitchen and café owners.

This lovely couple shares their love for the culinary arts, although they express it differently. With the kitchen owner more focused on full meals and the café owner more focused on desert, yet they swear the other's food is the best thing they ever tasted.

The first pair are the ones this whole town started with as these were the first two builds I did for the town.

Meet the Armory owner and the Blacksmith:

They are a lovely couple who share their mining resources and ideas for the other to try. They admire the craftsmanship of the other and work together on numerous occasions.

It’s a quiet day at the tavern. Fable is my only customer so far today, and the sun is crawling toward the horizon outside the window. After the chaos of the world almost ending a couple times over, it seems everyone is taking a minute to recover.

Not that I could blame anyone—if I had to run around the continent fighting vengeful psychopaths because my bartender was too cowardly to clean up after their own shit, I probably wouldn’t fancy a drink for a while either.

But supposedly there’s a party of some kind in the works in a couple days, to celebrate surviving the apocalypse with the world and the party mostly intact. There’ll be feasting, singing and dancing, playing games and sharing tales—the whole shebang.

It sounds wonderful.

There’s just the one problem.

After the world nearly ended, everyone is hankering for a bit of celebration. Fable invites Innkeep to join the festivities—except, it's not quite that simple. Innkeep hasn't taken a step outside the tavern since it was created, and the thought of doing so now, even for a party with their favorite patrons and closest friends, is unthinkable. Thankfully, they're not alone.

I decided to draw a stylist version of my my renfaire outfit from last weekend. It was a mix of all kinds of things I had lying around, but the vibe I was going for was a corrupted alchemist/mage.

So I fell in love with this game. Made me cry. And I got the best ending.

And these two were just so adorable that I had to do a little doodle of them.

I… was lazy and used an image from the game for the background, but I had a feeling that if I tried to draw all that I wouldn’t end up finishing the piece at all, so…

I’m still working out the details of my shading style, so it’s a bit wonky, but I still think it’s cute. Also sorry I feminized them. I have a tendency to do that. Im working on it. Just very slowly.

The ending of this game was a fucking emotional Rollercoaster. How dare you kill Tia. ...OK I get why. But WHY?!?!?

I'm playing through it again to see the bad ending (and the secret ending, apparently with some finesse you can get both in one playthrough) and im. Kinda scared. What happens??? Please let everyone be safe. They probably won't be. Otherwise it wouldn't be the bad ending.

Tia's death genuinely. One of the hardest hitting things I've seen in a video game in a long time. Maybe since Spiritfarer. Side note, Hex and Stella (protagonist of spiritfarer) have the same color scheme lol.

I really want to cosplay Tia, but I. Have never done anything that involves armor in my cosplays before, and i also... maybe temporarily banned myself from doing anything with EVA foam because I'm not good at it and it's expensive (how am I going to learn if I never use it, you may ask? Good question! I won't.)

I think I'm going to try though. I love Fable and Zephir a lot, but I don't think I could really cosplay either--for varying reasons. Maybe fable, but i think I want to try and do Tia.

Also, I kind of wish we could have gotten a bit more lore on the Innkeeper. It was good as-is, but im still curious.

And! Is there any way I can get the Lorebook? It says on Steam that it's considered a DLC, but i played it on the switch...? Is the Lorebook available on switch (yet)? I really want to see it. Desperately. Please. I've thought about nothing but this game for the past two days.
