Having a daemon is so fun sometimes. Splash and I have been going through a period of pseudo-inactivity and not talking/projecting a whole bunch, but last night he was heckling my choice of tupperware to put the leftover brussels sprouts in (i picked a tall thin one) and he decided to express this by just chanting “TUBE OF SPROUTS! SPROUT TUBE! TUBE FULL OF SPROUTS!” on repeat and I just love that about him hhsdjkfh

It could totally just be nostalgia but it feels like the tumblr daemonism tag is so much quieter than it used to be when I first discovered it. So let's do some community fun.

"We're complimentary"

(Originally this was drawn for the Mosaic of the Unhuman zine, but after two years of no updates I think it's safe to say it's not getting released)

Everyone say hello to a rare depiction of Atleir. I wanted to convey how we're complimentary parts of a whole through the contrast of warm and cool tones and how certain parts, from the arms to the mane, can be looked at as though they merge into the same body. Note how the hand with phantom claws rests over the heart. The way things run parallel to each other is my experience otherheartedness and daemonism.

here is a dæmonism flag i made for fun! I know this community has very little interest in a flag, but i thought id make one just to test my skills and for fun , and because I couldnt get the color idea out of my head

red lightening to pinkish red - flesh and blood, shared between human and animal, dæmian and dæmon hold a deep connection in the depths of their self(ves) and body(ies). shedding a dæmon's blood is shedding their dæmian's blood too.

gold - the golden compass, of course

white to dark - metaphysicality, how a dæ is not quite corpereal but still *there*. the darkness is that they cant be seen but they still exist. the white also represents the soul. the transition from light to dark reflects how dæs are shifting form all the time

PS i am ok with this flag being added to wikis with credit.
