Rhaegar was a better warrior than Robert ever was and you may be thinking “but Robert beat Rhaegar!!” Robert had a Warhammer and Rhaegar had a sword and they were both fully armoured. A Warhammer is a lot better against armour than a sword and Robert still ended up so badly injured that he needed to send Ned with his vanguard to Kings Landing instead of going himself. If they fought unarmoured, or both having swords Rhaegar would win 9/10 times.

As strange as it is to say as Blackfyre supporter I don’t think young griff is a Blackfyre.

The two main evidences of Aegon being a Blackfyre are 1. He’s the mummers dragon from Dany’s vision, and 2. The golden company wouldn’t fight for a Targaryen. The first point is the strongest so I’ll start there.

Daenerys sees a mummers dragon one of her visions in the house of the undying and supporters of this theory claim that this represents Aegon but I disagree in two way. Firstly that the blackfyres are just as Valyrian as the Targs, they are not fake dragon. That being said I can understand how this isn’t super compelling proof against this point so I’ll move onto my second way I disagree. Let’s say Aegon is the mummers dragon, that does not mean he is not who he says he is. Earlier in the same book (I think) Dany sees some mummers preforming real magic and assumes it’s fake before being corrected by quathe, I believe this is foreshadowing for the vision. It is something that seems fake but turns out to be real, much like Aegon. That’s my case for this point I’ll move onto the next.

The Golden Company wouldn’t fight for a Targaryen. I’ll open this up with the fact very few people in the golden company would have ever seen a living Blackfyre in their lives. It’s not a stretch to believe that they would no longer care about the rivalry that had ended before most of them had even lived. I don’t really have much more evidence against this because it’s honest just opinion on both sides, we haven’t heard anyone in the golden company actually comment on it so we’ll need to wait till winds for any evidence to actually appear.

Not only loveless but Robert was also canonically abusive. Cersei does some awful stuff but Robert 100% deserved to die.

Honestly Cersei was so real for killing Robert. Cause if I was also in a loveless marriage where my husband didn't care to hide his affairs I would also crash out and slaughter him. Like honestly Cersei was merciful, I would've had that man begging me to kill him by the time I was done.

Daemon Blackfyre is my favourite not Daemon Targaryen silly. Daemon Targaryen is 100% a groomer POS and a child murder, very few Rhaenyra supporters disagree with that and again he is not my favourite character. Very nearly no one is celebrating the murder of a child, furthermore I don’t think any supporter of team green gets to complain about the few people supporting B&C considering the amount of y’all who cheer at Lucerys’ death who was also a child. Celebrating the murder of any child makes me uncomfortable, I’m not choosy with my empathy.

Also what do you mean ‘the daily attacks Alicent suffers’? She’s a fictional character I’m afraid and cannot suffer anything because she’s not real. The criticisms of her character that I have seen haven’t often been misogynistic but I don’t doubt there are some. This fandom is hell and every female character is treated poorly by certain parts of the fandom and no one is denying that. If you’re talking about the attacks the actresses and actors receive from the fandom than I agree that’s absolutely not okay.

Third Aegon IS canonically a rapist in the show and is at least canonically an SA perpetual in the book. In the show he 100% raped Dyana, that is undeniable. You have to lying in order to say otherwise. In the book he ‘pinches serving girls’. I’m not sure the actual phrasing bc I don’t have my copy of Fire & Blood on me but he was absolutely touching servants without their consent. If your response to this is ‘Daemon does this too!!’ Then yeah he does, I agree Daemon is bad.

And finally no, team black generally does not paint their characters as perfect, as you can see by all I’ve written here, and neither does a large amount of green supporters. Unlike you (specifically you, not any other tg supporter) most people can acknowledge that all of these characters are not perfect and have many flaws. Please learn to see the flaws in more than just characters you don’t like, sincerely, your probably not local Daemon Blackfyre simp <3

People who genuinely support the greens irl make me so uncomfortable. Like half of them glorify the killing of rhaenyra’s kids and are insanely misogynistic about rhaenyra (on tik tok especially) and it’s soooo weird. If I was trapped in a room with one of them I would probably vomit.

I’d genuinely rather be in a room with a bl*odr*ven (evil) apologist than any green supporter.
