Your art is so incredibly good! Indigenous northmen is my favorite interpretation of asoiaf. (It really does make so much sense.) Request if you want to draw it; I love Jeyne Poole & would really like to see her in your style. ❤

Oh boyyy I really struggled w this one so I went a little overboard. When I think of jeyne Poole I either think of how sad it was that sansa was annoyed with jeyne after Ned and jeyne’s father got yeeted, or how boy crazy jeyne was. So for a happier piece, I couldn’t help but to think of the two girls being teenage girls at Winterfell, watching the older boys practice in the yard. Jeyne could egg the boys on and sansa would laugh and half-heartedly beg her friend to remember her propriety, but treasures jeyne’s humor all the same

Who are your favorite SanSan fic writers and your favorite fic of theirs?

First of all, I’d like to say that the women who are my favorite writers are also just all around beautiful people, and I really believe that is reflected in their contributions. 

I have a great respect for all writers and so I hesitate to place one above another; but for me these women stand out because of their sheer skill and that they have created works that I return to reading again and again. 

Ownsariver is my all around favorite author because IMHO her fics have it all-plot, smut, feel good moments without sacrificing canon characterization as well as an exploration of both Sandor and Sansa’s feelings. My favorite fic of hers is Northern Lights, Midnight Sun.

Emmiemac is another favorite,she’s musingsofaquietmind here. She also explores Sandor’s characterization especially well, imho, without going fluffy. Yes I know this is ironic considering I do write fluff but I admire writers and their abilities and strengths that are different from my own. I actually study her writing to help improve my own. Everything she writes delivers the feels for me. Don’t Look Back is my favorite from her.

Supernovadragoncat combines gritty reality, action, and character development in a very unflinching and emotionally charged manner that is singular in the fandom, yet she also can really deliver on the smutty naughty good fun. Basically, she’s the whole package. As much as I love Gods and Monsters, I would have to say that Thunderstruck is my favorite story from her.

Purpleanne is one of my first Sansan loves and in my opinion the queen of UST. My favorite of hers is Wolf Bonded. 

Amplifyme is also another one of my first fandom loves. I love the fantastic balance of her fics. The pacing of her stories are consistently wonderful, as is her characterization of both Sandor and Sansa, any writer (in or outside fandom) can appreciate that she has an extremely rare, wonderful gift. Her favorite of my is These Scars We Wear.

Ladytp strikes an amazing balance in her stories with consistent characterization, plot and action. I also really love her Sandor and Sansa because they are so complex and layered. She also really cares for her readers and I admire that she takes the time and engages in really meaningful discussion with them. My favorite fic from her is The Triangle. Though I am a hardore Sansan as OTP, I truly love this twist of Sandor, Sansa and Jaime.

Helholden also has great characterizations as well as uniquely beautiful stories. My favorite fic of hers is Denouement and its sequel Denouement Redux because it explores the vast differences in the way both characters view the exact same events.

Starbird1 consistently creates the most beautiful stories that have equally beautiful character exploration, searing UST and romantic, passionate and realistic love scenes as well. My favorite fic of hers is Sevenmas and its sequel Sevemore-A Continuation of Sevenmas.
