In 1997, during her senior prom, Melissa Drexler delivered a baby in a restroom stall and threw the body in the trash before returning to the dance floor. The girl was successfully hiding her pregnancy from her boyfriend and family.

According to the witnesses, Melissa “appeared to be just as she always was" and "exhibited indications of somebody enjoying the prom." The baby was discovered by a janitor, who became suspicious of the weight of the trash bag. One of her classmates also noticed blood in the bathroom.

Drexler was pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter, and was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment. On November 26, 2001 she was released on parole after serving three years and one month.

Patsy Ramsey, then known as Patsy Paugh, pictured as Miss West Virginia 1977. Throughout her youth, she competed in several beauty contests, including the 1978 Miss America pageant.

Patsy married John Ramsey, an up-and-coming businessman, in the fall of 1980. Together they had two children, Burke and JonBenet. JonBenet would follow in her mother’s footsteps by competing in her first beauty pageant during early July 1995. She took home her title, Little Miss Charlevoix, at the age of four.

Dutch police discover secret torture chamber inside spundproof shipping containers.

(CNN) Authorities in the Netherlands have discovered an apparent torture site hidden inside shipping containers, which were lined with sound-proofing material and filled with assumed torture devices.

Officers raided the site at Wouwse Plantage on the Dutch-Belgian border on June 22, arresting six men suspected of kidnapping and hostage taking. They found six shipping containers which had been converted to what are believed to be "prison cells," as well as a stash of weaponry including pruning shears and loppers.

"In each of the cells, handcuffs were attached to the ceiling and floor, in order to be able to chain someone standing up with their arms raised," the statement said. "The rooms were finished with noise isolating panels and heat-insulating foil."

One of the units also contained a dental chair, with straps for feet and arms. "The sea container with the dental chair contained bags with objects that were presumably intended to torture or at least put pressure on victims," the statement added.

"The police found, among other things, pruning shears, loppers, a branch saw, scalpels, pliers, extra handcuffs, fingercuffs, tape, balaclavas, and black cotton bags that can be pulled over the head. During a search at a home in Rotterdam, 24 kilos of MDMA was also found."

The containers were also fitted with cameras for remote monitoring.

Bullying at Columbine

here’s some of the bullying that eric and dylan had to endure while at columbine. it’s honestly atrocious how nothing was done. - “The athletes threw Skittles candy and food at them,” said John Savage. - Hoffschneider and his friends surrounded Harris and Klebold’s table and Hoffschneider taunted them thustly, “Why don’t you two fags kiss? You guys are such sweethearts.” - “Columbine is a clean, good place except for those rejects (Eric Harris, Dylan Klebold and other outcasts) … Sure, we teased them. But what do you expect with kids who come to school with weird hairdos and horns on their hats? It’s not just the jocks; the whole school’s disgusted with them. They’re a bunch of homos… If you want to get rid of someone usually you tease ‘em. So the whole school would call them homos…,” said Columbine student Evan Todd. - They were sitting in the library wearing their ridiculous heavy black coats on a warm spring day last April. A group of girls was sniggering at the table next to them, and Eric finally asked what they were laughing at. One of them told him, ‘You guys look alike, talk alike and are always together. We just want to know when you’re getting married!’ A look of rage came over Eric’s face and he made a fist at the girl. ‘Shut up!’ he shouted. Dylan got up and screamed, ‘You’re all so stupid! Everyone in this school is stupid! You better watch it!’ They both stormed out of the library, kicking chairs as they went. - According to Dustin Thurmon, teachers did not intervene when Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were harassed in class. - Dylan Klebold was made fun of in gym for being uncoordinated. - Eric Harris was relentlessly made fun of in gym class because he was bad at sports and refused to take off his shirt. In one instance, he was held down in gym class by several people and battered in the face over and over by a volleyball. - Former Columbine student Brooks Brown recounted one incident: ‘I was smoking cigarettes with [Klebold and Harris] when a bunch of football players drove by, yelled insults, and threw a glass bottle that shattered near Dylan’s feet. I was pissed, but Eric and Dylan didn’t even flinch. ‘Don’t worry about it, man,’ Dylan said. ‘It happens all the time.’“ - Once, a student reported them to the administration for allegedly having brought drugs to school, just to humiliate them for a laugh. Harris and Klebold were dramatically removed from class and searched – as were their lockers and cars. No drugs were found, but the damage was done. - One female student recounted how, when she was a Columbine freshman, some jocks spotted her talking to Dylan Klebold in the school hallway between classes. After she walked away from him, one of the bullies slammed her against the lockers and called her a “fag lover.” None of the students came to help her – and when asked later why she didn’t report the incident to the administration, she replied, “It wouldn’t do any good because they wouldn’t do anything about it.” - People surrounded them in the commons and threw ketchup covered tampons all over them, laughing at them, calling them fags,“ Brown says. “That happened while teachers watched. They couldn’t fight back. They wore the ketchup all day and went home covered with it.” “I know Dylan told his mother that it was the worst day of his life,” said Chad Laughlin. - Sara Schweitzberger, 15, had a gym class with Mr. Klebold, and said it was obvious he felt socially ostracized. “He really felt unloved,” she said. “He wasn’t so bad. He was lonely. I just wish I could give him a hug and tell him that I care.” - Newsweek quotes a classmate saying that the two often walked the halls of Columbine “with their heads down, because if they looked up they’d get thrown into lockers and get called a fag.”

In June 1986, 27 year old Paula Sims claimed that a masked gunman broke into her home and fled with her 13 day old daughter, Lorelei (pictured top). It did not take long for a search to recover her tiny lifeless body, which was found hidden in a wooded area close to their Illinois home. She had allegedly been suffocated to death. Due to an absence of sufficient evidence, Paula avoided any extensive questioning and moved away with her unsuspecting husband, Robert, where they had two more children: son Randall in 1988 and daughter Heather in 1989.

Three years after their first daughter’s death, Robert Sims returned home to discover Heather missing (pictured bottom). Paula Sims again began to insist that another unknown assailant had knocked her unconscious and taken the six week old baby, although their son had been left unharmed. Although this too was considered a case of kidnapping, it was soon disputed due to the mother’s lack of injuries and the coincidental nature of this second crime. Heather’s body was later discovered inside a park bin and both Paula and Robert Sims were arrested. Although she at first denied all involvement, Mrs Sims conceded to the defence prior to sentencing that she had killed her daughters because they were not boys, while her husband had remained completely unaware. Paula acknowledged that she had drowned Lorelei whilst bathing her and suffocated Heather in her cot. She even went as far as freezing Heather’s body before dumping it in order to confuse the authorities about the time of death.

There were other incriminating aspects of the crime which, from the jury’s perspective, confirmed Paula Sims’ guilt. For instance, the garbage bag containing Heather’s body was identified as being manufactured at the exact same time as the roll of bags found in the Sims’ home. Witnesses also testified about overhearing Paula apologising to her husband and becoming upset in the hospital after giving birth to a baby girl. She is currently serving a life sentence without parole. Despite her best efforts to maintain a male bloodline, Paula’s plans ultimately backfired in the long-term. In 2015, her estranged ex-husband Robert and son Randall were both tragically killed in a car accident after a drunk driver collided into their vehicle and forced it off a bridge. They both died immediately at the scene.

Judith Barsi was the voice of Ducky in The Land Before Time. She had also appeared in several commercials and small parts.

Jozsef Barsi, her father, was severely abusive. He verbally and physically abused his wife, Maria Barsi, and daughter.

Tragically, on July 25, 1988, Jozsef shot Judith in the head while she was sleeping. He quickly turned the gun on her mother and killed her too.

Judith was ten years old.

Jozsef remained in the house for several days and eventually tried to set both bodies on fire. He then committed suicide by shooting himself with the same gun.

The Funeral of JonBenét Ramsey 

JonBenét’s funeral was held on December 31st, 1996. She was buried in Marietta, Georgia next to her half sister who died in a car accident in 1992.

Burke Ramsey, JonBenét’s brother, remembers the funeral and spoke about it in a recent interview. He stated “The casket was so small. Her eyes were closed, and I think one of her eyes was a little bit, like, droopy.”

He described the event as traumatising, and went on to say, “I remember my parents being really upset, I remember my dad leaning down to give her a kiss.”
