This is totally not projection. That being said, Techno notices the most random things about people (their nervous behaviors, how they walk, what weapons theyre best at, foods they seem to really like, how they show emotion, etc) and he uses this information. Mostly when someone is stressed/sad he'll send someone (usually Phil) to comfort them or give them lil gifts.

Niki is just a fountain of pet names. Darling and sweetheart are her favourite but she doesn't shy away from jerk and the like. She also really likes being called pet names, but she's not really as prone to getting them as she had been when she was a child.

Shes a bit curious about the coo-wail-chirp thing ranboo does when talking to or about her, but she'll leave it alone for now.

More eepy guy ramblings!

Names people call phil are mostly limited to dad, dadza, birdza, and old man(affectionate). He also doesn't call people by much besides their names(or little shit) but he does coo at the younger members of the syndicate(and the rest of them, when they're being cute) (nobody really wants to admit that they're the ones being coo'd at, and there's a lot of shenanigans that have gone down in that pursuit.)

✨here, sitting on the couch being an eepy littol guy, thinking about nicknames and pet names...

Ranboo 100 percent calls people fun names in ender. Can you imagine them calling techno big brother just for their own amusement? Because I can! I also think he'd use epithets! (Niki is the fierce one or the sweet one depending, techno the strong one with connotations of reliability and calm, and Phil is the bird.)

Ranboo also really likes getting called endearments. The tip of his tail flicks a bit. Sometimes when the rest of the syndicate is feeling particularly impish, they'll keep flustering the poor guy until they're flicking their tail in embarrassed pleasure and blushing.

Phil knows ender a bit, being immortal with enough time to just learn a language! He loves hearing the names ranboo calls them all, especially because it means they're comfortable with them!

In honour of me posting my first pod fics on yt, have my reading aloud hcs!

Techno can be persuaded very easily to read aloud. The only catch is that HE picks the book.

He's been a shit and read a dry red stone manual until phil got antsy enough to just leave.

He's read the myth of Theseus(modified ending!) to ranboo after a panic attack(ranboo dozes off about 3/4 through, usually. If they don't, they ask for Persephone or Medusa next.)

He's read many recipes for Niki while she tries new things in the kitchen(he gets paid in her attempts! They're usually pretty good!) and he is the easiest to persuade for her. Niki will mention trying a new recipe and techno will, in his awkward, roundabout manner, ask if she needs a recipe reader("hmm, well I /was/ going to brush the dogs (forthethirdtimetodayyep) but I suppose if you need me I could assist."). Niki knows this and tries recipes that she knows he'll especially like sometimes or try recipes twice if techno really likes them, just because. Also, she thinks his voice fits very well in the chill atmosphere of her kitchen. That too.

It's another dye day, so here's more hcs!

If cranboo dyed their hair, they'd do it a weird green Color or something, because it is funny and because it's far too late at night and he's got lowered inhibitions. The white side takes well to the dye but the black... well, now they have 2 different shades. The green and black with green vibes.

(He does dye his tail though. He does a rainbow in June for no reason whatsoever. There's no reason to, honestly. Gay pride is a year-round thing.)

(Queer pride is such a year round thing with them that sometimes you'll hear one or another declare any random day ___ pride day. A cake is baked(because pride in themselves is something to cultivate and also because cake) and music is blasted. It's a very fun time.)

(You'll not really catch anyone admitting it, but they've all at one point or another called pride because they were craving cake and didn't really want to ask. It's very normal tbh. It's also a valid reason for pride day.)

attempt two because i accidentally sent the first one too early!

piercing headcanons because i was thinking about my own and then the brain juices started rolling in:

Phil used to have piercings. he got his ears pierced while he and Techno were still in the early/mid stage of their friendship. the two have matching emerald earrings, Phil's was a stud and Techno's was the dangly kind, but he also had a stud, for when he needed to make sure his earring didn't tangle in his hair. after awhile of having his ears pierced though, Phil began to notice his ears would be sensitive whenever he took the earrings in and out, when he would swap them. eventually, they started getting less sensitive and more painful. so, he let his piercings close up, switching his emerald stud with Techno's dangly one. he took the dangly earring, and changed it to where it was no longer an earring, but instead little charm, that he could put on his hat, on a bag, any of those. he only ever got his ears pierced, and he let those close up as they got too painful to handle.

Techno has had piercings longer than Phil. he did most of them himself, but he has let Phil help him in the process, making sure he didnt pass out afterwards [especially with the ear piercings, those things make you dizzy afterwards. i dont know about any other piercings, but ear piercings definitely make you dizzy] ect. he has studs, dangly earrings, all the earrings you can imagine. most of them are gold, though there are a few that are made of silver, and the matching emerald he has with Phil. he has a nose piercing, he used to wear those clunky, silly rings in the middle like how people often depict bulls having, but changed to a golden stud with a red jewel in the middle on the side. yes, he may have a pig snout, but he can still have nose piercings, okay?

Ranboo.. okay, I know this might sound weird, but in my [personal] design of him, he has a small eye of ender hanging from their ear. yes yes, i can hear you now saying "but eye of enders are made from enderpearls, and those are dropped by endermen when you kill them" yes, i understand that its weird to have your species loot as an earring, but it looks nice, and honestly, how about we think of it as a tribute to dead endermen or something. anyways, other than that earring, he has black studs and sometimes, they wear funky little earrings. i like to imagine he and Niki share a jewelry box, and they both have a collection of cute little earrings, like cat paws, rainbows, flowers, ect. just cause theyre cute. Also they have sensitive ears. Can't wear certain earrings, like cheap ones or copper ones.

Niki's got nose piercings and ear piercings. She's got a simple stud on her nose, which she'll sometimes change out with a little gold ring. She's got cartilage piercings, lobe piercings, all that jazz. She mostly wears those cute earrings both she and Ranboo own, the ones the two share. She sometimes wears small hoops on her ears. Most of her jewelry is silver, though she does have some metal and gold ones here and there.

proud to say that out of the three piercings ive gotten (first and second lobe and helix) i’ve never gotten dizzy 💪💪 also i love the idea of techno with lots of piercings (especially a septum piercing i think its so silly)

ranboo is so real for the sensitive ears thing (sensitive skin haver right here, i literally cant wear anything other than sterling silver or gold i hate it)

niki and ranboo fs match piercings i lobe them theyre so siblings
