I've been so focused on Ray lately and just really want people to draw him for my birthday

he's always angry and hates Deimos, just a couple of things to keep in mind if anyone draws any gift art of him for me 👀

i like to think that everything and everyone in nevada is in a constant state of damage.

lab coats left shredded from combat, headphones and goggles full of scratches, leather turning almost white from constant use, sharpened swords with nicks on its blade and hilt, bandages turning yellow and dark red from the neglect, scars and stitches lining so many people's bodies

and no matter how pristine a place may look, there are still cracked screens and computers hidden somewhere, paint flaking off the walls, water damaged ceilings, buckets made to catch leaks from broken pipes, dried blood on all surfaces from never ending slaughter

the environment itself has it too, with its jagged mountains and bleeding sky and rocky floors

there's just something about the setting and its people that gives a sense of wear and tear at all times. like it exists as a part of nevada. essential, irrefutable. nothing can escape it

bertmos is more of a "guys being dudes" "kiss your homies goodnight" type deal than like. actual dating. acting gay as fuck in public but in the straight guy way, finding themselves spending a lot of time together "hanging out" as "besties". Bert definitely took interest first but he's more out and casual about his sexuality while Deimos is a lot more repressed

they move away from just being silly and into more intimate territory when Bert makes a joke that he'll toss in an extra box of ammo for a kiss and Deimos is like "o rly?" and Bert is like "ya rly". both of them leaning forward across the counter how they always do, that "ooohhhh I'm gonna kiss this guy" gay chicken type drifting toward each other. except now the tips of their noses are touching and Deimos's face is red and there's warm breath tickling at his lips and Bert is smirking at him and says "you won't do it" all smarmy and Deimos is NOT gonna let that slide so of course he kisses him. just a real quick peck before yanking the brim of his hat down, grabbing his stuff and his extra box, and then storming off like Bert said something that offended him

and then I just don't think they could be normal about each other from that point forward
