you fill my head with pieces of a song by bamboop
Stammering, Lance turned back to his guitar, his hands sweaty. “I - I liked your song yesterday. Er, last night. This morning?” Scratching the back of his neck, he laughed. “It was nice.”
Keith didn’t respond for a moment. Glancing at him, Lance saw that he was still staring at him, his cheek squished up against his knees. He looked so cute. Fuck.
When Keith finally spoke, it wasn’t at all what Lance was expecting.
“You’re pretty.”

To Steam a Latté by shipstiel
Lance works at a coffee shop and he likes his job. That is, until his new coworker arrives: actual human nightmare Keith Kogane.
(And if anyone asks Lance whether he's attracted to said coworker, well that's between him and his own fantasies, thank you very much).
OR: Lance and Keith fight constantly and honestly, Lance just really wants to punch Keith. Or make out with him aggressively. Whichever comes first.

Checkmate by cheritsundere
It's when Keith sees his opponent, a boy with a bright smile and even brighter clothes, that he knows he's already lost.
Well, he'll win the match, but his heart? Yeah, that's lost for good.

lift me from the ground by thespacenico
Lance wiggles his fingers at him, grinning. “Go on, don’t be shy.” Keith rolls his eyes. “Thank you, oh brave and handsome knight,” he starts, with as little enthusiasm as possible. “Technically he’s a cleric,” Pidge interrupts. Lance ignores her comment, clasping his hands together and holding them up to his chin as he tilts his head, batting his eyes. “Aw, you think I’m handsome?”

the missing part by bluefilaments
"I can hear your thoughts," Keith nearly whispered.
Lance went pale, but that wasn't what Keith was focused on. Because he could feel the horror creeping up inside himself as Lance heard his declaration. Because he could feel his own heart skip a beat in time with Lance's. Because he could feel the rejection bubbling up inside him as Lance frantically worked out what all this meant.
"Wh—what are you talking about?" Lance said, stumbling over his words even while his mind screamed clear as day please say you're lying just say you're fucking with me don't play these kinds of games with me—

The Melancholy of July by SailUncharted
To Lance his birthday was bittersweet, always the mark of the end of summer and the beginning of a new school year. Only this time, it was his last summer and that meant that everything was changing. The stress of the end of childhood and the expectations of his future weighed heavily on his shoulders. Now, he was losing his friend too, but with every end a new beginning is born.

Under the Mistletoe by Alanna_Grey
The whole gang gets together for Christmas Eve dinner. Keith and Lance place bets on who will have the tackiest Christmas sweater. Pidge bribes the waitress to play a game with the table by holding mistletoe over all the couples - and to conveniently 'forget' that Lance and Keith are not a couple.

to boldly [hide] by sunflowerabbit
It’s hard enough to hide from your superior when you’re all ON A STARSHIP IN THE MIDDLE OF SPACE, but now Lance has to deal with sharing a hiding spot with some guy with a tragically outdated hairstyle.
Woe is me, Lance would say, Shakespearian tragedies have been written about me across the galaxies—whatever. There were probably worse ways to pass the time than thinking up new ways to poke at the guy’s mullet.

Courting Your Pants Off by BleuSarcelle
The Prince takes a bite of the pastry and melts under the taste, eyes closed in pleasure as he chews. Being childhood friends with the town’s baker is not bizarre, if Keith has a say on it, especially when he gets these kinds of bonuses.
“Amazing, right?” Lance says, his grin turning into a soft happy smile, eyes softening as they stare right at Keith and Keith might choke on his favorite pastry if Lance doesn’t look away the next two seconds.
Being in love with the town’s baker, though? Now, that’s tricky in Keith’s opinion.
[Or the one where Prince Keith's finally gathers up the courage to start a courtship with the person he has known since he was five years old and prays that his feelings are returned from said baker best friend.]

aeon by hystericalcherries
Keith does not leave the quantum abyss untouched.
“Home can be anything, you know,” Lance says in lieu of a conversation starter.
Slivers of moonlight filter through the blinds above their heads, casting lines of truth across the sheets. Lance tilts his head forward and a band slides over his eyes, catching the ocean in them and drawing Keith into their rolling tides. And as distracted as he is, he doesn't put up a fight when a hand clasps his own, reeling them heartward.
“Home is just something you can come back to.” His knuckles brush against the soft fabric of a nightshirt, the v-neckline falling loose to reveal a sharp collarbone, and Keith feels his breath hitching. “Something that keeps you grounded.”

burnin' up by akaeijis
The door to Pidge’s room opens. Wide open. Pidge doesn’t look up because the Try Guys are explaining what the video is about but the dumb emo kid in front of her is flailing his arms like DK, so Pidge guesses she should be somewhat accommodating. She pauses the video and pulls an earbud out, “Come again?”
Keith repeats, “I think I’m dying.”
(Or, Keith thinks he’s sick, symptoms including stomach butterflies and sleepless nights. Pidge is an unwilling love doctor.)
