SOMEN my new love basically it’s iced somen noodles that are very thin unlike udon with a light flavored dipping sauce or tsuyu the tsuyu is usually a katsuobushi-based sauce that can be flavored with wasabi it’s very common to eat this summer to help with the heat When eating you will take the noodle and put in the sauce and then eat it’s so food and simple I prefer the sauce plain with no wasabi unlike my host brother

Another breakfast more melon bread but with maple syrup inside, kiwi, and a ham and cheese sandwich the ham was good but I didn’t like the cheese, cheese is different here in Japan

Okonomiyaki (which I made myself) is like a Japanese savory pancake containing a variety of ingredients in each region is different in Osaka the batter is made of flour, grated nagaimo (a type of yam), water or dashi, eggs and shredded cabbage, and usually contains other ingredients such as green onion, meat (generally thin pork belly, often mistaken for bacon), octopus, squid, shrimp, vegetables, konjac, mochi or cheese topped with ingredients that include otafuku/okonomiyaki sauce (similar to Worcestershire sauce but thicker and sweeter), aonori (seaweed flakes), katsuobushi (bonito flakes), Japanese mayonnaise, and pickled ginger (beni shoga) Many also say is the soul food of Japan

甲南女子中高等学校 (Konan girls school) it was hard to take many pictures of my school because of the rules but these are the best I got my school had 4 or 5 floors and is very large with 5 buildings (the high school, middle school, auditorium, traditionally tea room and sports building) but my school was right against the mountain so very steep to clime up

So apparently many Japanese people believe in UFOs and aliens. I was watching tv with my family when the new started talking about UFOs showing a video and then I said it was fake and they said no it’s real
