The doctor: I would never kill anyone
Also the doctor: anyways so I want to send these birds into the void for eternity where they can suffer until they lose their 600 year life span 🥰

Episode two was far better than the first I’ll say that now.
The Devil’s Chord satisfied my expectations and the acting was phenomenal. While it still is far from a favourite in all of Doctor who, I still found it extremely neat; I liked the emphasis on how important man-made music is in the grand scheme of things.
Now, I’m a sucker for absolutely batshit characters so no one should be surprised that Maestro has shot up as one of my favourite villains if not characters in this show.
Again, thoroughly enjoyed it and hate all you want but that musical number at the end was fun.
I was excited throughout watching this episode and that’s something I’ve missed a great deal.
P.S Still insane to me that Ruby is only 2 years older than me.
P.S P.S the doctor is so fit in this episode.

First post in a few months here.
Got to see Space Babies and I’ll tell you, I’ve got mixed feelings.
On one hand, we’ve got the fun, impulsive, charismatic doctor plus all that Ncuti himself had to bring to the role; but on the other hand, this entire episode felt childish (it’s a kids show I know but bare with me). That’s not to say there weren’t bits of it I enjoyed, I had a good laugh and smile here and there, but for an opener, it felt week and hardly as engaging as any other series opener I’ve seen. It felt Disney-fied. I think the antagonist was boring as well but you can’t win them all.
Positively, the messages in this were heartwarming and ones even I could see myself taking after.
I am excited though because I do absolutely love Ncuti as The Doctor and Ruby is already a fantastic companion. I’m probably not the first to say this but she reminds me of all the best bits of Clara Oswald. Here’s to a new Doctor!

Did anyone ever consider Dirk Bogarde in Doctor Who? I feel like he would have played a very good Master.
Completely random thought by the way but I wonder if anyone agrees.

One of my favorite character traits of the Doctor is that they’re an inventor. 10 had the “timey-wimey” detector from Blink, the Zygon-detecting thing from The Day of the Doctor, and the Adipose tracker from Partners in Crime. 13 built her own sonic screwdriver in her first episode

Y’all are making me realize that he absolutely had it on by choice at one point…
Rewatching The End of Time and realizing I will never get over the fact that they put The Master in a straight jacket and a…collar? For some reason? But then he gets out of the straight jacket and is STILL wearing the collar.

No seriously.
I mean they’ve always been a little emo… stylish at least...

Definitely decade specific… I mean Delgado was 70s emo, Simm was 2000s emo.
However, the ‘cool-villain’ to ‘insane-theatre-kid’ pipeline will never cease to amaze me.
every day I think about russell t. davies' decision to turn the master, the doctor's weird gay best enemy from the classic show, into an emo theatre kid who wears hoodies and dog collars. what did you mean by this russell

Rewatched Cyberwoman and never will I forget Owen’s half look, Jack’s look of anger yet sorrow, Tosch’s look of empathy, and more so, Gwen’s entirely inability to even look at Ianto after they shot Lisa 2.
