Stage Door HOM

For those that got the chance to see Luke at stage door. Any tips? I didn't have time to wait the first night but I do have time next week.

Janice has already threatened other accounts and chased them off Tumblr, she's either a psychopath or someone hired by Luke's team since they seem to be really purging his online presence.

I REALLY DOUBT anyone from his team has time to come here to treat fans like this. Luke is a grown man and an artist, he can take criticism, specially during previews.

I have been warned by several people about Janice. I don't plan on leaving and I think this will be my last post about the subject. I know time will prove that I didn't lie. :)

I went to first day of previews and no one left so I’m confused what you’re talking about, sure that there I think that needs to be changed in terms of writing and some scenes dragged a lot that need to be cut in half but everything else was fine and the theater was packed till the end and I was sitting in the back too. Also you can’t expect fans to interact with you normally when you have been interacting with accounts that said Luke should k*ll himself and wished him harm

I interacted ONCE with an account that was super mean to Luke and if you are stalking me correctly you would've noticed I blocked them when I realized the type of account they run. I responded to some of their comments on one of my posts and when I realized that person and Janice wouldn't stop fighting in my comments, I blocked her and deleted the post. I left Janice because she was a Luke fan but yesterday it became scary and I blocked her too.

You guys can scream all you want but people did leave at intermission and if you go to reditt some of those people explain why. I didn't say that the place was empty after intermission or that 100 people left. I just mentioned the few people I saw leaving. I am not the only one reporting this btw. It is the truth even if you don't like it.

I love Luke and Nicola and i have all the right in the world to speak if I don't like something as long as I am respectful which I always am.

At the end of the day we are all entitled to our opinions and you guys need to freaking relax.

Luke solos are attacking you for saying that he was good in the play but the production is flawed? I'm sorry for that. I read your review and didn't see any hate. That's crazy. By the way, other Lukolas on X said the same thing, that they liked him and the actors but not the play itself, that's not hate, and previews are exactly to point it out the flaws to be corrected. Trying to silence people is crazy behavior. Resorting to saying you'll be harassed for that? They are acting like a Cult.

Thank you for all the messages you guys sent me and others. I've seen it all. It feels good to know some people understand where I come from.

Previews are for exactly that. We need to be loud about everything that we saw so they can make the changes needed before opening night. If we pretend everything is perfect, like many of them are doing, there is a bigger chance of really really bad reviews. I also wanted to warn those going soon so they could manage their expectations.

Luke was great and as I said before, I still think this can be a smart move for his career. Being the best part of something not great is remarkable.

I spent my money for two tickets so obviously I wanted it to be amazing.

Hopefully they can fix it. At least I already saw that they got better timing yesterday which is huge because one of the main problems of night one was that. I hope they keep listening to us.

So I'm actually scared of doing this but here I go. I went to see the HOM play last night but I have tickets for next week again, which were my original ones. If anyone that can see things objectively could dm me so I don't have to go alone I would appreciate it. Some people in here are scary and I don't want to stand out by going by myself.

You can call me a fake fan all you want. You can scream that I am lying. I am actually a good fan that can criticize the people they love. Imagine for example me saying that Seize Them was a good movie. No! I love Nic but that was trash. lol The Lodge? Also trash.

If Nic's play is bad I will also say it. I love them both and I will support them even in crappy plays, movies and series.

I was honest because I want people to be prepared because the reviews are gonna be bad. Scream all you want but let's talk after the reviews come out. You'll see I was right.

House of McQueen Review

So, last night I decided last minute to buy a ticket for the first preview so I can compare it when I go to my original date and see if they made any big changes.

Ya'll.....

Let's start with the good. Luke did a good job, he looked sooooo hot and was happy. Emily Skinner is great and there are some pretty hot scenes with Luke and other guys. The line going in was long and people seemed soo excited. I also saw only like 15-20 seats available which is good for a preview of something new. Also Michelle from Bton was there.

Look, I am gonna be honest which I know some of you hate so if you are sensitive please stop here....

Emily and Luke are basically the only good thing in the show. And even that...I feel like they didn't really take advantage of Luke's range. In general Emily seemed more like the main character than him at some points.

The lighting, the stage and the clothing were bad. I was so surprised about that because if you are going to make a play about a fashion designer I feel like clothing should be a priority. It was clear that non of it was real and just replicas. Not great ones either.

It was extremely long (over 3 hrs) which I hope they fix before opening night. There are people playing more than one character while wearing the same clothes, that was super confusing. They had several dance sections that were super random and too long. For opening night I would just eliminate those.

They never go too deep into what made McQueen who he was and even his death was weird and not the dark emotional moment at least I expected and I know Luke can deliver.

I see a lot of other obvious things they can and will definitely fix during the next few weeks, but I am sad to say that my worries came true. He is too big and too talented for this.

Oh! And I saw several McQueen fans talking to others, they were mad and left in the middle of the play.

In general I feel like if Luke gives it his all he can show that he can do a great job even in horrible circumstances and I still believe this could help him make a name for himself in the US. I would just concentrate more in what made McQueen who he was and he can be the star he is in the middle of this chaos.

I hope Luke keeps doing stage doors because that will help with sales too. People were super excited abut that.

I am telling you all this because we need to brace for the reviews. Even if they fix some things, I don't see them being good. We need to keep hyping his acting and move the conversation to that.
