More art of my albatross griffins. I’m happier with their design. I CAN’T believe I gave them plain ol’ canine/seal looking teeth before, when spine covered penguin mouths are RIGHT THERE. It makes more sense to me design wise and looks better.

I decided to call them ✨Kymagryphs✨, giant scrounges of the skies over a new endless sea. Careful not to leave your catch out on deck when sailing.

just wanted to come on and say that i attended the Our Hearts are Crying for Gaza event in indianapolis after seeing it on your blog. not only was it incredibly unifying and a beautiful display of Palestinian culture--with poetry, food, and a silent Thobe auction--it also brought to light two organizations (the Palestinian American Medical Association or PAMA and the Humanity Auxilium) that are currently working to bring food and other aid into Gaza. they're nonprofit and staffed by volunteers so all donations go towards providing aid and don't get swallowed by administrative fees.

the speakers also attested firsthand to the resiliency and tremendous faith of Palestinians as a reminder of whom all of this is for.

thank you for sharing, I wouldn't have known it was happening if I didn't see it on your blog.

Honestly? My main piece of advice for writing well-rounded characters is to make them a little bit lame. No real living person is 100% cool and suave 100% of the time. Everyone's a little awkward sometimes, or gets too excited about something goofy, or has a silly fear, or laughs about stupid things. Being a bit of a loser is an incurable part of the human condition. Utilize that in your writing.

A woman reaches under a block from the apartheid wall trying to hold the hand of her mother on the other side. Many families have become segregated after the Israeli occupation regime completed the construction of the wall which runs through Palestinian lands. This is just one of thousands of cases.
