The transition back to NY is always bittersweet for me. I'm beyond grateful for these blessings & experiences and to come back to NYC which has always been my home but Bali was different, I sincerely miss it. Pictures cannot express the beauty experienced; greenest green & bluest blue, pictures can't make you feel the literal energy that felt like it naturally vibrated higher. But the true mission is to always mentally keep that peace and happiness regardless of the distraction or location. This performance was one of my favorite nights, the day we arrived in Ubud and had such a beautiful welcome to cushion the insane journey that let us there. My other performance was at an intimate dinner with one of the most inspirational men I've probably ever met. After dinner he rolled some green treats and his friend from India began to play the ukulele. I have no idea what I sang at that dinner table.
