i had noticed at some point the last week or so how The Merge from vee/neese to valanice makes their eye colors merge into one once she ages but the comparison is interesting

vee has brown eyes and neese has hazel eyes, both of them are really pretty! but by chapter 4, for valanice, vee's eyes turn grey while neese's eyes become a much lighter blue with a grey outer ring. then by old age, they end up with the same skin and eyes, meaning both of them end up with grey eyes. i threw in icebella's at the end there for fun, hers is also the same no matter who it is

makes me sad to see their pretty eyes become so boring. i understand that combining the two into one shared model saves a lot of time and resources but it really is a shame that the choice of who you marry doesn't really have a stronger impact

I BEAT MASK OF ETERNITY, it was honestly a really fun game. was it a good game? well, i liked it! was it a good king's quest game? not really!

it's jarring to think about every time connor brutally slits the throat of a demon that this is canon to the original king's quest universe. i wish there was a king's quest companion that included this game, i bet peter spear's lore would have been buckwild

i really enjoyed it outside of the times i lost my head with some issues. the medieval speech is odd? but honestly the silliness and jarring-ness of the game and characters endears it to me. i really like connor and his characterization! i wish the ending was more than just a prerendered cutscene- i was hoping to see graham and sarah.

anyway, i'm glad i played it. i genuinely had a lot of fun with it.

also, i beat it on hard mode and kept connor in the birthday suit as often as possible (even using console commands to put it back on at the end when they don't allow you to progress without the final temple armor). this is important. i've earned the naked and hard achievement

i think the only reason i didn't earn full points was because i didn't go around slaughtering non-hostile animals lol. you need to do that to 100% it
