yeah i’m an angel but not in a pretty, heavenly way.

i’m an angel who was tainted by living among people for too long with no purpose, i’m an angel who curses, smokes, and drinks. but i’m also an angel who is also very empathetic, emotional, caring towards animals, and tries to give everyone a second chance.

i’m a flawed angel, but i’m still an angel in my own ways. but not all angels have to be caring or loving, we all are unique. you can be a violent angel, an angry angel, a quiet angel, a disabled angel, a fat angel, a skinny angel, there is no limit.

angels aren’t just pure heavenly beings, a lot of us are fallen, and that is okay.

Angels can be kind and benovolent but remember that angels can also be :

Angels that bedrot and doomscroll

Angels who can be mean, who can be rude, who ignore or ghost

Angels who dont shower for days, who sweat and whose teeth are yellow and crooked

Angels with ache scars and acne on their backs and scars on their arms and hair on their legs

Angels with blood shot eyes in the morning and eye bags from being insomniac and sleep deprived

Angels who hold grudges, who throw tantrums and scream and yell

Angels who are petty and passive agressive and snide

Angels who have hurt people and the ones they love and who have been hurt too

Angels with low to zero empathy and angels who experience compassion fatique

Angels with violent urges and tendancies and thoughts

Angels who hate and want to punch a wall or throw a table

Angels who feel chronically empty, angels who feel tired all the time

Angels who are mortal, angels who reject divinity and embrace their mortality

Angels with no halos and wings, angels with no purpose or job

Angels who choose to be divine, who do not have memories

Angels who are lost and confused, angels who are unemployed and arent studying

Angels who try their best and it still isnt good enough, angels who dont try at all

You are still angels, you are still angelic. Define your own angelhood, define your own angelic nature and understand that being angelic is not one dimensional but is expereinced in all its multifaceted complexity. You are an ecosystem of your own making, contridictory and etheral.

You are angelic as you already are.

Just remember you can't even "see" atoms but you know it is there right? so what is making you hesitant in knowing that you got it? You want it, you got it babe!

Now relax because it is all done, you are the creator, you are the proof, you on the damn pedestal dictating everything to go your way!

i truly believe that my wings exist for a symbolic reason, not for practical reasons, and that's why they're located where they are (just below my ears). i believe that rather than to actually be able to fly with them, they're there as a representation of my purpose as an angel - to listen to God, and to listen to humans, relaying messages between both.

i still have wings, to reflect my angelhood - but they're small, not huge and powerful wings sprouting from my back, which just emphasises the connection i in particular have with humans. i look more human with smaller, more "useless" wings that are less noticeable/angelic, because it brings me closer to humans and makes me less intimidating to them.

that's what i believe my "role" is. i work more closely with humans. or i did, before i was in this body.

Im just saying, I dont think angels are inherently good and kind. In my case my angelhood is directly related to goodness but acting like all angels are perfect and sweet is reductive.
