Hi so I sent this anon and I strongly want to emphasize not throwing a fit on tiktok because 90% of these dancers probably have tiktok and they see what people are saying

Since dance offs are about to happen, here’s your reminder that:

- these are minors, don’t be a grown adult throwing a fit over a kid’s competition! It’s not only rude but also so cringey, so please don’t be that person

- every dancer has worked their butt of for years to get where they are, so no matter who wins, they deserve it!

- don’t say anything negative. If a dancer makes a mistake, there’s no need to point it out. These kids are dancing with the entire dance world watching, they are scared enough

- no, the competition is not rigged

- the dance offs don’t determine the results. Just because you think someone else was better in the dance off doesn’t mean that it’s rigged

- do not dm any dancer saying anything other than good job. This should go without saying but it’s happened before

- pls don’t comment anything like “how did she win” on TikTok cuz news flash almost every dancer there has TikTok and sees the comments

- also recently I’ve heard lots of people saying things like “Orlando is easier than Vegas” or something along those lines, but all nationals are hard so winning any of them is a huge accomplishment

- stop acting like getting top 10 or runner up are bad thing. If a really good dancer gets top 10, that’s still a huge achievement

Another dancer who’s really versatile is sophie garcia. She was the lead in stars’ senior ballroom group and senior pointe group this year. She obviously slays in contemporary and jazz, and if you follow her on socials you’d know she’s really good at hip hop. The only style I haven’t seen her do is tap but I’m sure she does that too, at least at convention
