hcrrifying:
Every time they interacted, the two of them fell back into this like clockwork - bodies magnetic towards one another. Not that Viktor minded - not in the slightest, not with the murders kicking back up; this was the best form of stress relief. Their hands trailed down Iris’ back, sliding into her pockets to cup her ass - pressing her against him. “Just like that,” they murmured, one hand sliding back up to palm at her breast.
Iris always said she prefered to be drunk but didn’t consider herself addicted. That term just felt so harsh. This feeling on the other hand, the rush that ran through her as his hands wandered her body... there was no better word. She could live on just this feeling alone. She pushed her body onto him just a little harder, just a slither of clothes between them. She could feel herself growing wetter with each movement. Her lips moved back to his, like a magnet. Parting only to grab his lower lip between her teeth.
hcrrifying:
Viktor almost fell back into the passenger side - not surprised by Iris’ actions, more turned on than anything - they should’ve known to expect this from her by now. They maneuvered the two of them - just slightly, so that they didn’t ruin her little show by toppling backwards. “Fuck -” Said through a small intake of breath - quiet, even for the parking lot - Viktor kept their eyes trained on her, unable to look away. “ - Yeah - you’d make a fucking - great stripper. Christ - come here.”
Iris’s lips couldn’t help but form a smirk at his words and there was a rush that came along with it. She loved to feel desired... wanted... and Viktor was feeding every bit of that right now. She would consider getting a job at Siren’s later, for now she had tunnel vision. Iris climbed into his lap, bringing her lips to his for just a second before letting them make their way down his neck, she wanted to tease him... drive him crazy. She started to grind into his lap, slowly as she felt him growing harder against her.

“You took the words right out of my mouth.” Dilara agreed before taking another sip of her drink and nodding. “The night of the engagement party?” Dee asked, although she technically would have already known had she not blocked out that entire night from her thoughts. There had been way too much happening, and she hadn’t exactly been in the best mental state while in attendance either. “Well do be safe, like you mentioned before they do have a thing for the hot ones.” she said with a chuckle, “I’m just hoping this all blows over and they figure it out faster then last time. Or the time before that.”
“Yeah, the party was kind of fun but not fun enough to get stabbed,” Iris said, with a small shrug. She couldn’t help but give her a playful wink when she returned the compliment. She knew she shouldn’t be flirting with the boss’s sister, but that was half of the fun. A small laugh escaped her lips when she considered how tragic this pattern was. “The cops didn’t actually solve anything this last time, they didn’t even catch or take out that bitch, they just walked in once it was all over.”
dilara-k:
“I wouldn’t go that far.” she grinned at the female. Dilara wasn’t really looking for someone to enjoy the night with. She merely wanted to have some fun and let go of all the worries and stress that the last month had poured on her. “I think a dance or two might just be all the fun I need.” Dee laughed along with her, then took a sip of her drink. “It was fitting as bad as that was.” she admitted and shook her head as she smiled, “You see, now when you put it that way! I might actually have to try now.” she tilted her head and laughed once more, “Is that what’s in store for you tonight?”
“Sometimes dancing the night away is all the medication we need,” Iris agreed, with a small smile. She would know, most of her nights ended with drinks and dancing. “Hey, I’m just making a point. The one time I didn’t plan to leave a party with someone and I ended up stabbed,” she pointed out, with a small laugh. She gave a small shrug when she asked about her night. “I don’t have any plans to go home with anyone tonight, my fellow bartender tonight isn’t one I go home with so I’ll just play it by ear,” she answered, before taking a quick swig from her water bottle that was certainly not full of water.

“surprisingly, you can.” she replied. she knew only because her cousin had told her that was what he wanted to study in college. “being an astrologer does sound cool. for me though, i like being a meterologist more.” she replied. weather was the one thing she knew the most about. and the one thing she loved. “it’s okay. i’m zehra.”
“I’m Iris,” she said, before glancing back up at the sky. “I feel like anyone who’s title ends in ‘ologist’ sounds super impressive,” Iris added, with a small giggle. She didn’t really consider what each one means. They were all just people who did science shit in her brain.

“pretty much. weather changes constantly. sort of like when we say there will be storms for example. there will be, but how bad they are? we never know.” and that all depended on how the atmosphere was. if it was just right, then the storms would be bad. and in same cases, even produce a tornado too. “astrology? not really. a cousin of mine is though. he studied astrology in college.”
“You can study astrology?” Iris asked, with a small laugh but it was a genuine question. “I really want to know what kind of job you do with that. That kind of sounds like a really fun job make I missed my calling,” she said, as she adjusted her hair in the wind. “Sorry, I’m asking you a lot of questions and I don’t even know you.”

“I’m not surprised.” Dee grinned, remembering the bartender from a while back. For some reason that felt like an entire lifetime ago with everything that went on in their small town. “I completely forgot about the curfew to be honest.” She chuckled at her last question and shook her head, “No. Nothing of the sorts. It just felt like time, you know?” she shrugged, entirely aware that the girl before girl didn’t know what she was talking about. “Who knows when I’ll show up on the shore so I might as well enjoy the time I’ve got left.” Dilara joked.
Iris didn’t know all that much about the gingers life, but normally when someone says it’s time that means they are trying to move on from some sort of ex. “Well, if you didn’t come here with someone I’m sure you’re very capable of leaving here with someone,” she said, with a playful tone. If anything she would get the confidence boost she appeared to be looking for. Iris wasn’t expecting her joke, so she couldn’t help the laugh that poured from her lips. “That’s a little dark, don’t you think?” she asked, between giggles. “You have a point, though. Killers around here seem to have a thing for the hot ones, so you have a brand new reason not to leave here alone tonight.”

“Of course I have a VCR.” Scoffs almost, like its an obvious thing and everyone still owns one. He doesn’t have to mention that he doesn’t know how its still functioning, and he has to smack the top of it to get it working again every once in a while. But he does have one. “Listen, the VCR is underappreciated. I miss being able to record as much TV as you wanted for absolutely free and have it as a physical thing."
“I don’t even have a DVD player, let alone a VCR. I basically have streaming and that’s it,” Iris said, with a shrug. She didn’t spend much time watching tv, she found it pretty boring and she didn’t like to stay home when she didn’t need to. “But you had to rewind it before watching it which was annoying, but I guess it’s kind of cool to have something in your hands. Everything is so virtual now.”
One of Iris’s favorite activities was going on adventures when she was drinking. She would get drunk at a bar and then ditch whoever she was drinking with and just kind of roam around and grab drinks where she could find them until she wandered again. Something of a drunk alley cat, she managed to end up drinking beer at the bowling alley and entertaining herself with guy working there. “I will chug one more bottle and then I’ll go and weird movie hunt with you. Dilara approached the bar, having had found a seat opened for the taking. “Let me get an Amaretto Sour and a water, please.” she asked the bartender, flashing them a smile. She decided to take her friend’s advice and just put things behind her and live her life. There was no reason why she should be keeping herself at home as if she had done anything wrong, so Dee decided she had enough and took herself out. Her hair laid perfectly waved down her back and she dressed in a small black dress with red bottom heel’s to adorn. With news of new murders she perhaps shouldn’t have come alone, but not wanting to give herself yet another reason to stay home she put it out of her mind coming to the conclusion that she’d text someone to meet her here. “It’s pretty lively for a tuesday night.” she spoke outloud as she glanced towards the dance floor.
Iris had met this woman before, she was actually sitting in the same exact seat. This time she had a little something extra, something that makes her just a pinch hotter than she remembered. “I think this is like a protest to the cerfew laws. I mean that didn’t seem to do shit when this happened before so I can’t blame them,” she responded, with a small shrug. “Is that why you decided to come out tonight, or do you have a hot date?”

Iris had managed to keep herself from laughing up to this point but he was just so grumpy she couldn’t help herself. “Is your posture really straight because you work out or is it the stick up your ass?” she asked, with as genuine of a tone as she could muster. “I suppose that’s all, it was so nice to meet you Bruce, we should do this again sometime,” she responded, before walking to the door. This was just the motivation she needed to get back into the gym.

“No - right!?” Once - Myria had cut her finger chopping tomatoes - and she still could cringe at the feeling. Being stabbed? A whole other ballpark that Myria could not bat for. Even drunk - the thoughts floated through her mind, pinching her brain; the thing about being a mortician-slash-taxidermist, is that morbidity becomes natural. “Like! Super really good!” Her fingers hook against Iris’ waistband, bringing her closer - smile half-dazed, a laugh escaping. “I’d show you but - like, the room’s getting super dizzy, right now. Are we on a boat?”
“I don’t think we are on a boat, but a party boat sounds like so much fun right now,” Iris said, with a giggle. She has partied on a boat before. Actually, she has partied in just about any way she could think of. “Are you fun dizzy or do you want to go outside and get some air?”

“You know - it’s kinda, like, scary -” Her voice dropped into a yell-whisper against the club’s music, inflection on the whinier side - telltale sign that Myria was absolutely blasted, “- Like - I don’t wanna get stabbed, that sounds like - so unfun that it’s literally sickening. I don’t want you to get stabbed again either! That was also like - so unfun. The unfunnest,” She blinked against the lights before her gaze found Iris again, hands soft against her hips - a sudden dazed smile on her face, “I could sew you up if you did, though - I’m like, really good with my hands.”
“It was actualy super not fun,” Iris agreed, even though she was drunk enough to hardly remember what it felt like. That was one thing she really liked about drinking, it numbed the bad and enhanced the good. “Are you really good with your hands?” she asked, with a playful tone. “How really good?”

angclwvngs:
Forrest had been trying to remember that Iris wasn’t much of a hugger - he never wanted to make her uncomfortable. He was just naturally affectionate, and while she was as well, she always seemed taken aback by his hugs. “Yes, hugs, because I love you.” Forrest declared, simple as that, giving her shoulders a squeeze as they both returned to their job. Somewhat. Iris was about as fun and entertaining as they came, and Forrest always found himself distracted from their actual work with gossip or just general Iris fanfare. “Stop, I hate when you make jokes like that,” he mumbled, reaching out to tug at a lock of her hair, gently enough that it wouldn’t cause any actual pain. Truthfully, his heart did clench every time she joked about her wound. Forrest tried saving face so that he wasn’t considered lame about the whole thing, but he’d be genuinely devastated if Iris weren’t there, even if their time working together hadn’t been long so far. “Let’s promise to never leave each other.” A promise neither of them could guarantee, but Forrest ignored that.
Iris cringed more at his saying he loves her than the hug, but there was still something nice about it. She knew it was platonic and sweet, which brought her comfort. “You too,” she returned, before running her fingers through her hair. She got all of the bottles unwrapped as she listened to him. She knew he hated her jokes about being stabbed, but what was she supposed to do? She can’t pretend it didn’t happen and she isn’t going to cry about it so this is how she deals. She almost dropped the last bottle when she mentioned that promise. There was a reason Iris moved so often, she didn’t like the idea of forming any real relationships where they would actually miss her when she vanished again. This place was never intended to be home but she didn’t really know how to tell him that. Normally she would be blunt without caring how the other reacted, but with Forrest it was like kicking a puppy. “Promise,” she said, before pressing a quick kiss on his cheek. That was her version of a hug.
angclwvngs:
Glancing over his shoulder when he heard Iris’ voice, Forrest couldn’t help but roll his eyes playfully. If he was attempting to do more of the heavy duty jobs just to help her out, no one else had to know. “Hardly strong. I’ve barely started and I think I’m already about to have an aneurysm.” After finishing changing the keg, Forrest turned to Iris with a megawatt smile - it was custom that everytime a coworker entered, he greeted them with nothing short of one of his biggest bear hugs. Though he was a bit more gentle with Iris, for obvious reasons, “You’re also late, so I was saving your ass. What would you do without me?”
“Oh it’s hugging time,” Iris said, as she didn’t quite hug him back but didn’t pull away either. She wasn’t much of a hugger, which is weird because she typically enjoys every other form of physical contact. “My hero,” she said, with a playful tone, as she went back to unwrapping all of the bottles. “I would certainly be pretty bored without you here, setting up alone is not all that fun,” she added, before turning back to him. “I mean what would you have done if I bled out? You would have no one to sass you while you’re trying to work.”

Kyle lets out a sigh because there are other things he could be doing right now, like reading through that pile of paperwork he’d been putting off. It was obvious she was just wasting his time. “No,” he responds blankly, because if she didn’t know what a sauna was, or was simply playing dumb, then that wasn’t really his problem. “If you don’t know what it is, it’s not for you.”
“I don’t think that’s very fair, I don’t think there’s a person who knows what a sauna is that wasn’t told at some point,” Iris pointed out, with a playful tone. “You know, you’re really young to already have frown lines”

Been parading it as -” Viktor didn’t finish the sentence, only opening the passenger side of their hearse and shoving the plastic skeleton into the back. “Unless you wanna fucking - give me a show here and now.” Another joke, though Viktor still glanced over at Iris, half-curious.
“I’ve been able to get my way far before I got stabbed,” Iris pointed out, with a small laugh. It’s just the easiest excuse right now because no one feels comfortable saying no. Letting him lead her, she followed him to his car unable to surpress a small laugh at the skeleton. “A show right here in front of my job, how inappropriate,” she giggled, before releasing his hand and pressing him up against the car. She adjusted herself so that she was facing away from him, her body pressed against his. Letting her body slowly sway down his, enjoying the way it felt to trace her ass between his thighs.

Knowing you’ve got a whole new fucking - audience of men waiting, but choosing me? Kinda fucking… into it.” They watched her for a moment before leaning across the bar - pulling the glass away from her lips only to press a hungry kiss to them, “When’s your shift over? Should fucking - go now. Night’s young.”
If Iris was being honest it was kind of a hot idea. It also felt like a next step that made sense to her. The thought was interrupted by his lips pressing against hers, something that for some reason always did it for her. “I’m supposed to be here another hour but... I suppose I could play the got stabbed card,” she giggled, before walking over to her coworker. It took her all of five minutes to collect her tips and practically pull Viktor from his stool. “I’m down for whatever, let’s go.”

to say she kept herself busy in the morning was an understatement. with work and all. eyes focused on her laptop, she switched from looking at her notebook to her laptop, typing in her notes she had. hearing a voice, she raised an eyebrow as she looked up. “nothing interesting, i promise you that.” she replied. “if anything, its all weather related.” something that she knew not many people were interested in too.
“Does that mean you’re the brains behind the weather people?” Iris asked, never really considering that there were other people who fed them their information. “How does the sky tell you what the weather is going to be?”

The unfunnest," She blinked against the lights before her gaze found Iris again, hands soft against her hips - a sudden dazed smile on her face, "I could sew you up if you did, though - I'm like, really good with my hands."
