gage gothel is the little brother and ward of rapunzel gothel, the president of the united states. chad charming is the heir and crown prince of charmington. of course, they've never gotten along. but when a royal wedding ends in a $75,000 cake-related disaster, the two boys might just have to fake it 'til they make it. things get complicated when their friendship becomes real, and only get worse when it becomes something more. the blossoming romance threatens to pull the rug out from underneath both families - and possibly upend two nations in the process.
