i haven’t played dw in a while but last time i did i got hit on floor 1 because of my ping going to 1.6k😔 still kinda embarrassed about that

about the ask with the distractor pebble crash out… yeah i understand now

i recently got decent at distracting with pebble (decent as in i usually can make to past floor 10) and the amount of times i have had my own mini crash out over teammates being surprisingly dumb (aka standing RIGHT NEXT TO where im distracting as a lower or same stealth toon) is. well

once i lost t. poppy’s attention and 2 people (a teagan and a toodles) died

Waw.. floor 10 distracting.. impressive!! But yeah all the respect to the distracors. Distrefotes. Disrsctors. Distractors. There we go. Distracting is hard man 💔 esp when there’s people who don’t understand how close they actually are to you. And as a lower stealth as well. (Though, that one pebbles floor 1 crash out was a little unreasonable I think..)

Recently I had a really fun trio run with some friends(Cosmo(me), Cocoa and Pebble) and there were definitely some funny moments such as another friebd joining the call a while after we started and we decided that toodles was in the elevator cheering us on because he mains her, me extracting only slightly behind a desk and not getting seen by twisted Rodger(small room, Cocoa accidentally opened the capsule but we were both fine), and then while the distractor was taking a break on floor 19 because Goob spawned and everyone got on one, have not one, not two but THREE twisteds walk past me and not see me while I was extracting, including Goob, unfortunately we lost Cocoa during panic mode, Dandy pitied us and gave 2 passive twisteds floor 20 I suppose

also it’s thr best when twisteds don’t see you.. I love them walking straight past me and going to my friend 💖

I kinda kept the animal theme that’s with the other troupe members. Looey is a dog, yatta is like… a llama? A dragon? Idk but that’s an animal. Blot.. I didn’t really see much so I made him a cat. (Also partly due to me misunderstanding the promo image, and thinkingvees mic was an ear…) plus a tail. Because I don’t see a tail anywhere else on the design, and looey and yatta have one. So. And the overalls for more color because. I find it weird to have a monochrome character in the colorful cast we have now. Yyyeah.

hello there i am. new to this place so im gonna drop cool run experiences

main only run:

-got to like floor 24 where i died, i kited the whole time using only dog plush + veemote

a run i joined on the community server:

-got to like floor 21 where the host decided to make a perm team but the gc hasnt been made yet, pebble spawned like floor 7 on that run [i was the only astro with pink bow + mag]

also in a certain prismatic pal anon's swap au i typed out in the gc:

"heres a stupid thought i had for your swap au what if razzle & dazzle [or the opposite... idk] went like 'Oh the MISERY! [like, in a way that seemed like someone liked seeing people miserable]' with the most anxious or unhinged laughter and 'Oh what fun... [in a very sarcastic way]'" and they responded with a 4 second, recently recorded clip of that one part of enemy by imagine dragons saying "Oh the misery!"

i haven’t had really anything interesting i can share recently so i’m digging in the feeding trough of old experiences

-once during a dandy run a tisha bought from him floor 2 and everyone immediately blamed this boxten

-in a separate dandy run a boxten snagged a medkit and a bandaid when 3 separate people were on 1 heart

(side note: recently twisted glisten has been hunting me down. send help)

-in a run i was doing on my alt this sprout player proceeded to:

wake up t. r&d while a yatta was doing a machine inside the circle

took both of the boxes of chocolates that yatta dropped

screamed at someone when they healed them accidentally instead of a cosmo

said “good” when another yatta had to leave (assuming the same one they accidentally healed)

sprout players are weird man… like I get that everyone stealing tapes sucks but … from what I can tell this guy had literally?? Nothing to go off of?? If this was early floors like 5 then wow…

Also rude!!!!!! Boxten!!!! This is why some people accuse boxten all the time I think.. if a new player in your run messes up just tell them that they messed up. If they keep messing up, I feel like it’s alright to assume they’re doing it on purpose at a certain point..

i think the whispering flower trinket is cool. imagine some kind of horror-ish fic of it just being a sentient flower in bassie’s head telling her lies or some shit…

side note, why does it have an eye… the all-seeing flower who whispers secrets into bassie’s ear

(bassie’s name got autocorrected to baddie while i was typing this so do with that what you will)

oooh yeah ever since I saw it I thought it was like…whispering her worst fears in her head. Ohhh hm thought. What if when bassie gets stressed, she cuts out some of her flowers to “get rid of the thoughts”. And the whispering one was a pretty bad one, but she couldn’t bring herself to through it away. Considering it highlights all items during panic mode, it could actually help her sometimes, which is why she keeps it. also yeah why does it have an eye??? Stop looking at me bro.

Anyways yeah. #bassieisawesome (this also the cause of that one Astro and bassie dialouge btw.)

anyways i tried hunting down bassie again in public runs. had a distractor pebble crash out because ppl kept getting in their way (allegedly, i saw nothing)

this all happened on floor 1… i was left to solo on floor 6 💔

oooof…to celebrate me getting bassie here’s this.

im pretty sure the “cocoa was meant to replace bassie” theory isn’t canon yet so i want to introduce a counter theory before i can’t

what if bassie was the one to replace cocoa and they just have vastly different reactions to what one would expect. like

cocoa: “oh. sick.”

bassie:: “oh. well, now i need to prove i was the right choice!”

which led to bassie being super awkward around cocoa because she thought cocoa would have some sort of resentment or whatever

this is more of a hc than a theory but ah whatevs

Also I like this one a lot, reminds me of when I first saw the get her room and thought that cocoa was sorry that bassie got twisted (presumably bc of her) bc yk. The mains get fucked up more than the others.buuut idk about it now..

i think the issue isn’t the toon…it’s the trinkets

i used dog plush + speedy shoes for once on flyte and got got floor 1 while distracting

somehow with dogplush + magnifying glass im a-ok as a distractor though?? LOL

yeah I think trinkets are absolutely life savers for certain toons. Cosmo is terrible to extract with without thinking cap (at least for me) Aaand playing as Gigi with her 1 star stamina is a nightmare without a stamina trinket. For example, distracting pebble as Gigi. Without my lovley speedometer it would’ve been way harder

also hmm.. magnifyig glass.. maybe that will help my spectacular distracting yessss… (I am desperate for any distracting assistance even if it does nothing to help💔)

experience i had a loooong time ago… i was playing as scraps and legit everyone on my team (except for a sprout & a cosmo) died on floor ONE

the sprout and cosmo left immediately after realizing it was just us 3 so i scraps solo-ed until floor 3 where i got bored and died to rnd

i got accused of being a griefer today when i accidentally led a twisted to my friend playing as rodger (I DID NOT THINK THEY WOULD 180 TO HER THAT FAST 💔)
