Helllllo!
Wow. I haven’t done anything with this Tumblr since 2013. I’ve been feeling super inspired and am going to start posting again here. :)

Dorothy Iannone
I’ve been reading up on Iannone and am intrigued by the content of her work, her interest in Buddhism, and this idea she’s exploring of devotion but also creating space to be self-empowered.
A quote about how her Buddhist practice influences her work:
“I could say, though, that my dharma experience has made me consciously aware of the process of creativity: for instance, when I’m working, how my mind is held empty of thoughts, at ease, and somehow the “answers,” one after another, arise.“
