It’s been forever since I did an update so here is an update.
Start weight: 210lbs
Now: 196lbs
Down: 14lbs
Starting work at both jobs have made tracking what I eat and meal prepping almost impossible. At one point, I was just not eating. But that was making me feel horrible so now I do get food to eat, I just eat smaller portions and watch what I eat.
Being active at both jobs has been helping me lose the weight too!

This past week has been crazy! I’ve worked at both of my jobs, on Thursday I worked an 12 hours work day.
This week I haven’t had time to meal prep and give myself time to figure out what I’m going to eat for today and tomorrow and this has led me to not eating. Instead of getting something that’s over my points, I chose not to eat and only eat once or twice a day. I KNOW this isn’t good for me and yesterday I went home from work early because I was so hungry and stressed out that I broke down at work.
And so I took that opertunity to sleep and to go to the store and meal prep for the next couple of days till I have another day off. I also now know that I don’t HAVE to work until I drop, and that it’s okay to take more than one day a week off. I work myself so hard because I want to make money and prove to them that I am a hard worker! But I need to take care of myself.
And on a happy note
I am down 10 LBS!! Three weeks into this program and I am down 10lbs. I am beyond excited for this benchmark.

Today I weighed in and I lost 2LBS this week!
I know this number is normal and should excite me but I also feel bummed out that I didn’t lose more. I’ve struggled with disordered eating since middle school and when I only lose a little, I feel like I need to starve myself or do something drastic this week.
I know that this isn’t a healthy mindset and I hope one day it changes. But deep down I am happy I lost 2LBS this week and I know I am on the right path

It’s been a busy couple of days! I went back to work and it’s been getting harder to stay on track. Yesterday I went over by two points but I was still in the blue zone. Since I work weird hours, my struggle is timing when to eat.
I used to eat a meal when I got to work, eat during my lunch break, and pick something up to eat after work. Now I’m doing something similar but I need to plan when and what I’m going to eat.

Work was great! I did 13,000 steps, 5 miles, and 30 minutes of exercise! I also stayed on plan and tonight I made myself a small pizza. The pizza was 8 points total but tasted so good!

I go back to work today! My store isn’t open to the public so my day will be a little more relaxed but I’m worried about getting hungry at work and not having zero point foods with me. Snacking at work is the worst for me!
For breakfast I had a WW maple brown sugar oatmeal cup, string cheese, and I packed strawberries for a snack. For lunch I packed some chicken spaghetti bake we made last night for only 5 points, a bag of WW barbeque chips, and more strawberries for a snack. Total points for today so far is 11! Not too bad!

Day 9!
Yesterday I didn’t plan ahead for dinner and ended up using all my points for the day and one. Need to make sure I plan ahead next time!
For breakfast I had applesauce and two oranges, lunch was salmon, a WW cheese stick, and WW BBQ chips for 3 points total! Snack time/ a small reward for doing 5 hours of homework was a WW chocolate caramel bar and another bag of WW BBQ chips!

This morning I had some applesauce, a banana, and an orange for breakfast. I had the left over meatball sub from last nights dinner, only 7 points. I enjoyed being able to eat the bread. I love bread. I’ve had 48 oz of water so far!
I also did a 15 min cardio/strength dance workout I found on YouTube!

Today is day three on my journey! I have had a lot of fresh fruit this morning and had a crispy chicken sandwich for lunch from Wendy’s- it was 10 points and I have 9 left for the day. For breakfast, I had an açaí bowl that I made at home with a splash of almond milk, blueberries, strawberries, and a banana. That was 5 points and semi filling. I normally would add granola but it’s 7 points by itself! I also did a 30 min dance workout!

(Microwave) Baked Apples - 0 Points
INGREDIENTS:
1 Apple
1 Packet of Splenda or Truvia
1 tsp water
¼ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp cornstarch
1. Cut a red apple into slices, red tastes best! If you prefer the skin off, like me, be sure to peel it before cutting. Place the apple into a microwave safe dish, sprinkle the sugar substitute across the top, add in water, cinnamon and cornstarch. Cover the container, leaving a vent for steam and microwave for about 2 minutes.
2. For a little extra sweetness, you can add a dollop of cool whip free. I hope you enjoy this baked apple microwave recipe!
