I thought you all should know that I’m a die-hard Danny Phantom fan and I never draw him but I should.

Next up, we see signs about a 'big dance,' which I'm properly just going to do the normal thing and call it 'homecoming."

But then Tucker keeps trying to ask various girls out, and keeps getting rejected. Part of me wants to give a lot of the background characters names and personalities but idk if I have the time for that.

Tucker returns to Sam and Danny, moping about his rejections, and Sam of course says, 'I don't get what the big deal is, I don't need to go to some dance to feel special.' Which valid, but also like, we know why you're saying this.

And of course, our boys aren't listening because they're distracted by:

Paulina.

Who j'm properly going to give a major redesign too, but later, when I have the time.

I always loved these comic book esque title cards, though I know there are better ones then this.

Of course we have this ghost saying, "I just wanted to go to the Princess Costume Ball, but my mommy wouldn't let me."

Now I do remember there being a later episode with her in it, but I think it's her brother who's actually controlling of her. I could be wrong, though. Also can anyone tell me her name??

Next she Flys into the ghost portal, andthat's seemingly the end of her.

Now the magic amulet Flys off and lo and behold:

The ghost dragon became a ghost girl.

One small thing though... I think it's kind of ridiculous that Danny could knock this big dragon away with what looked like a single kick. So, uh... I'm going to make it much more of a struggle for him.

This post here isn't really to point out anything significant, I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate the use of color in this shot. Mainly them turning the background red when it's against this fiery blue dragon. I just wanted to appreciate it for a moment.

Jack of course needs to leave to go to the bathroom, and that's immediatly when something decides to pull on the line. This is something that always happens in cartoon, but it's still funny to this day.

Here we see Danny's ghost breath for the first time in the episode, but in my fic I have turned this into a more static/electric feeling he gets, for reasons that will be explained in the fic. That aspect of Danny is actually something that's going to cause some major changes in the later "seasons."

And now we get a look of this absolute beauty! I remember her being my favorite ghost in the series actually

But she ended up breaking the line! Now, in reality Jack was properly just wrong about that residue, but I think it be more interesting if that residue only affects weaker ghosts, or maybe younger ones? Ghosts that haven't been around as long, so to speak.

First, I'd like to apologize for the quality of these Screenshots I got, the website I'm using isn't the best, but it's what I have.

Now on to the beginning of the liveblog.

It looks like the episode starts with Jack, reeling what seemingly looks like a fishing rod into the Ghost Portal.

And of course, in come Danny, looking like he just got off of school.

After that we get an explanation from Jack.

He's "fishing for ghosts." But then in come the more interesting part.

The fishing line is coared with a special high tech ectoplasmic residue that Ghosts are unable to break. Which is interesting for a number of reasons, and is defiantly something I want to keep in mind for my fic.
