this scene was soooo good
He knows the imperial higher ups will kill him for his failure so he decides to listen to the rebel manifesto that’s they’ve been unable to stop the spread off and all the uncertainty he’s had about the empire and his own role in it hits him. Not only was his life’s work mostly useless but now he’ll be punished by the very cause he’s starting to doubt. So with his mind half-made up he decides to listen to the manifesto, the very antithesis of his life’s work now that he’s at the end of it.

i’ve got the feeling that this will be an unpopular take but i really like Bix and her arc this season. She isn’t just a woman whose story revolves around a man,
We see her struggling to deal with her trauma and at the same time struggling with being a rebel and the consequences that follow (ig. her anguish when Cassian killed an imperial to protect her in the 2nd block of episodes). She believes in the cause, but she’s tired and ultimately just wants to live a normal life.
In the end she kinda gets both; she sacrifices Andor, who’s a big part of her happy ending, for the cause because she believes that he’ll be able to do great things for the rebellion (also her agreeing with the force healer who saw something important in Cassian). She sacrifices her life with him for the rebellion but as a result she gets to live an ordinary life. She got her ‘happy’ ending while also being a rebel to the best of capabilities, even if that wasn’t in the more obvious and palpable ‘bad-ass shooting guns’ way.

Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham in the pose from “Dante and Virgil in Hell” by William-Adolphe Bouguereau
There are so many little details I put in here I may just make another post to dissect them.

just finished season 1 of Daredevil
The Avocados stole my heart, obviously. Matt is baby, everyone is baby and they NEED to be protected at all costs!
But my heart was also stolen by another

I will never get over his death ;w;
I also really like how they portrayed Kingpin!
And how they kept showing that BOTH sides had feelings and people who they cared about. HHHHHHHH
