Video Games

Bungie has been a powerhouse in the video game market. They have produced multiple games that I have cherished and enjoyed playing. Two of these games would have to be the Halo franchise and Destiny. I remember when I played my first Halo game which was Halo 3 at my uncles house. After I got hooked on Xbox 360 and continued my exploration with the rest of the Halo storyline. It is sort of confusing at first to understand, however it is very interesting once you get into the depth of it. The game that did top all the other Bungie games for me was Destiny. Destiny is a RPG (role playing game) and can start off by choosing one out of the three sub classes which are: Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks. When I started the game I chose a Hunter as my character. The purpose of the game is to battle the darkness through out the universe for it has destroyed most of humanity. The Warriors the battle the darkness are called Guardians and they obtain power from the Traveler. The Traveler appeared around the time of desperation from another world and helped mankind by giving them the power of the light. The light and the darkness are in an eternal battle. What the darkness brings are different species of enemies that have major bosses in the end to defeat. The darkness enemies are; The Fallen, The Hive, The Vex, The Cabal, The Taken, and SIVA. Anyway, because of Halo 3 I got into Xbox which is my main system for entertainment, and I have various different games. #blog2 #dma #xbox #halo #destiny #bungie

Freddie Wong Admiration

One of my favorite video artists has to be Freddie Wong due to his video working skills. As a kid I have always adventured on YouTube looking for something entertaining. From music videos to funny cat videos, I have stumbled across them all. Then my best friend introduced me to Freddiew, a youtube channel created by Freddie Wong. His videos consisted of all the wacky interests that I liked, plus all the unreal special effects and CGI. There are many videos that I think are great but here are a few for example: Hitman, Who’s gun is it anyway, Old School vs New School, Medal of Honor Cat, First Person Mario: EndGame, and Metal Gear Sunrising. Freddie soon created a channel with BrandonJla called RocketJump, where more imaginative videos were created. My favorite work from them however would have to be Video Game High School. VGHS was a webseries on RocketJump where they basically took high school and eliminated sports replacing them with video games. So competitive gaming in high school with: shooters, racing, instrument playing, and video game creating. The episodes hooked me right away, it followed the life of Brian Doheny as he gets accepted into the high school and tries to imprint his mark on the high school as the best player in the world. Problems however escalate once he deals with the typical soon to be love of his life and her varsity captain boyfriend, The Law. Anyway Freddie Wong has produced many entertaining things on YouTube that have stuck me glued to my chair just watching.
