It marks exactly ONE MONTH since I started working on this comic, it would mean a lot to me if you read and enjoyed it.

I'm honestly feeling so vulnerable right now...

it's kinda stupid but it's the first time I ever like put out my thoughts about akeshu in such a substantial format.

I think yeah, I could just write my "this and that" thoughts about them in a doc, but actually drawing a story and really pouring my entire fuckign heart into drawing this comic somehow feels more set in stone-

I want to draw MY vision of akeshu, and share it... but ofc that leaves a lot of uhhh I guess anxiety that I'd be rejected for such delusions- whatever though... akeshu will always be happy..!!

I’m about to have a fun afternoon.

So my trainer’s bf cheated on her. She broke up with him. He’s holding her stuff hostage until she agrees to talk with him. Which she refuses.

She trains; for free mind you; three college linebackers, a college wrestler, two martial artists, a body builder, and… wait for it…. a Navy seal. We’re gonna go get her shit for her.

This should make for an interesting story.

Honestly i was kinda sour because there's so much star wars content scattered all around different media but i think you might've just change my mind. Like yeah it's all different it goes from cartoons to tv shows to movies... But now i actually like it because every story is additionally seperated and it just shows how all those groups of people seemingly so different from one another came togather in the end to fight for freedom.

Don't know if it makes any sense but it's a unique perspective that i'm happy to discover. Lots of thanks

Alright I rewatched "Secret Cargo" to see how it lines up with "Welcome to the Rebellion" and it's wild to me that while Cassian was playing Frankenstein with Kaytoo on Yavin IV Thrawn was sending his people to hunt down Mon Mothma in a nebula lmao. I kind of wish we'd gotten a Thrawn name drop in Andor to acknowledge his existence but I get why it didn't fit.

In all seriousness though, I love that both episodes further contextualize each other. "Welcome to the Rebellion" adds more weight to Mon's rescue mission in Rebels because you understand what happened during the Ghorman massacre and why it was such a huge risk for her to speak out about it. It also validates the Ghost crew's role in the overall story because without them escorting her and Gold Squadron to safety, everything she risked would've been wasted. "Secret Cargo" emphasizes how important Cassian's involvement in getting Mon out of the Senate building was because without him she never would have lived to meet up with the Spectres in the first place. If he hadn't protected her, she wouldn't have made it far enough to make her second speech and unite the Rebel Alliance.

Complain all you want about too much Star Wars content being set in the same era, but personally I love how much it highlights that the Rebellion was a collaborative effort. None of these people would have won without each other, because the only way to win in any conflict is for people to fight together.
