District Four was out of the running and as such, Adriano had much more free time than he might otherwise. Entering the training center with the intent to swim a few laps, he paused to see someone else already in the training room. Her petite frame was instantly recognizable and he contemplated just leaving her be. She seemed to be taking her anger or irritation out on the dummy in front of her. “What’d the dummy do to you?” He called, never one to make the smartest decisions.

Adriano had been about to leave the floor to go down to the training center and work out. The tributes had scattered and it seemed the arena was dulling for the time being. It was the perfect time to sneak away for a bit. He was surprised to see Walker on the floor. Ana wasn’t here and no matter the excuse that came from Walker, Adriano wasn’t naive. Walker hadn’t come looking for him, but he’d indulge the man. “Oh yea?” He questioned, smirk across his face. “Well ya found me.” He shrugged then. “Yea, it’s rather strange. Don’t get it yet.” He admitted. “What do you think it is?”

Walker had came to the District Four floor in search of Ana, but as the large Victor exited the elevator and walked down the hall he instead encountered Adriano. “Hey man! Just who I was looking for.” He greeted the younger male. It was afternoon and Penny was alive, with an arrow wound, but alive. “Crazy Arena this year, isn’t it?” He shook his dirty blonde hair.

Penny smirked and then shrugged as she bobbed in the water, hands on the side of the pool to keep herself above the water. “And? Are you going to tattle on me?” She questioned as she playfully splashed water up at him.

Adriano chuckled and shook his head, running his fingers through his hair His eyes watched her for a moment before shrugging, “’Suppose not.” He spoke and then jumped into the pool close enough to her to have splashed her in the aftermath.

The district’s tribute was in bed, sleeping thankfully, and Ana had slipped out to do... something - Adriano didn’t ask, there was a line he drew with what he wanted to know of his sister’s life. He was lounging on the couch in the sitting room, watching some Capitol rehashing of the tribute parade when he heard the elevator doors open. “Oh hey Ana,” he glanced at his watch as he sat up reading for the remote, “didn’t expect you back... Oh Hyacinth.” He sat the remote down after muting the television and reached for his drink. “Yea, uh, Ana’s not here. But you’re more than welcome to stay.” He raised a brow with a smirk. “Join me for a drink and stupid Capitol tv?”

He’d only stepped away to use the restroom and returned to find the girl in the pool. He didn’t say anything, letting her swim and almost thought about leaving himself. But he needed to get his laps in, and well she couldn’t be the worst company, right? “Nah, it’s okay.” He replied, sitting on the side of the pool and dangling his feet into the pool. “But uh... you’re really not supposed to be down here.” He recognized her as a tribute. She should be in bed. Not in the pool.

It was late and the training center was empty but unlocked when she had ventured down. She wasn’t sure if it was meant to be opened still or not, but hey if it wasn’t locked surely she could go in, right? Her toes dipped into the cool water of the pool before she pulled her clothes off and left them in a pile by the side and jumped into the pool in only her undergarments. It was only as she was swimming back that she noticed someone else. Swimming to the side the pool she peered up at the man. “Sorry, didn’t realize anyone else was in here.” Had he been in here when she’d come in?

When Ana had called him asking he either come watch a fussy Ria or go pick Hyacinth up from the train station the decision hadn’t been hard. He chuckled at her excited greeting, wrapping an arm around her smaller frame. “Hey Hya!” He released her and then reached for her suitcase. “Ana asked me to come get you, something about a cranky pants toddler refusing a nap. Wanna hit the beach on the way?” He questioned. They werent’ that far off, the sound of waves crashing against the beach audible even over the sounds of the train station. 

Hyacinth and Erebus disembarked from the train onto the District Four train platform. Having been passed her suitcase, Hyacinth looked for her friend but was instead greeted by Ana’s brother. “Adriano!” She yelled, equally excited to him as she would have been to see Ana. Hyacinth threw her arms around the man.

Adriano shrugged with a chuckle. "Oh color me terrified." He responded, taking a sip of his own matching glass. The drink was dreadfully sweet and fruity, but he wasn't sure what else he had expected. "Eh, I mean dude just died. Who knows the Capitol may declare a national period of mourning." He hadn't really thought it through further than that.

“Hey Short Stuff.” He approached with some bright pink mixed drink that the bartender had presented when he’d said to surprise him. “This is a lil bright for a funeral, but…” He shrugged and offered it to the victor. “Guess what, you’ll get to deal with me even during the games. Well if they’re still gonna happen that is.” He’d only just accepted the position of a trainer at the tower when things got turned upside down with the president’s death.
