a feel like the new generation of fanfic readers NEED to understand that clicking on a fic (interaction) does nothing. ao3 has no algorithm. your private discord discussions of fic do not reach the authors. if you do not actively engage with writers they will stop posting. this isn’t social media this is community.

i have a lot of art about RK AU on my skeetchbook, i planned to colour and retouch them on digital, but they've been piling up and im not doing anything digital lately.

I've considered to scan them and upload them, however im VERY insecure about them. Some are quite wonky, others really need said retouch or line clarification.

Im also struggling with how people might interpret them. Some of them i drew to then edit as if it was an instagram story post, cause i thought it was fun and appealing to the vibe of the au. But in one of those i portrayed Pyke covering his face (AKA, i found a cool reference and i wanted to draw him. Yk, enigmatic cool looking dude faceless grainy photo), the arms position reveal all of his SH scars. Both Sarah and Pyke have SH scars in my au.

Its NEVER my intention to reduce both their characters to just their scars, or glorify them as an 'aesthetic'. Its why i feel hesitant about sharing some specific artwork, maybe what i believe is just a drawing of someone with scars is not what someone who has gone through that experience feels appropiate.

I managed to pull this one from my ass a whole month ago, but never posted it.
