Scamming Seller

So, I was scammed on a furby, and I figured I should warn the rest of you in the furby community who might use Offerup about the seller.

So, I messaged her asking to buy just the teal Connect from this lot, back when I was still looking to get the furby to create Cabinet Man with.

Note that the condition is marked open box, never used for all three in the set.

The first one she sent me was the wrong furby, an extremely glitchy ocean waves Boom covered in marker.

I messaged her, figuring it was just a simple mistake since it was a fairly similar color in the same lot. She apologized, had me send him back, and said she would send the right one.

The nest one she sent was still wrong, a pink polka dot Boom missing its battery compartment cover.

I message her again, she apologizes again, but this time she said it wasn’t worth the shipping to have me send it back again, so I could just keep this one as an apology and she’d still send the right one.

Cool, free bonus furby, I thought, that was nice.

Wrong.

After that she stopped answering my messages completely, and I never received that Connect. Yesterday I checked her profile, only to see this:

She has relisted the furby I bought for a MUCH higher price.

She still won’t respond to any of my messages, and I have reported her. So, furby buyers on Offerup beware - don’t buy from Mindy!
