So! I have a question. The first chapter of my new Rumbelle fic is written in third-person omniscient (think narrator), but the rest of the fic will be in Mr. Gold/Rumple's point of view. The chapter is about 3,700 words. Which would people prefer more: keeping the chapter as is or splitting it into two?

I am halfway through re-editing the last section of the first chapter, which may end up as two chapters because I don't do moderation, apparently. It's somehow at 3,500 words 😳

When you go back and read a chapter you already edited once...and see so many things you want to change, you edit it again 🙃

Since I’ve been binging Once Upon A Time, here’s some logistical thoughts I’ve had about everyone’s favorite pirate captain, Killian Jones:

How does he get money? He doesn’t have a job

Who’s phone plan is he on? We see him with a phone in season four but as we’ve previously established, he has no way to pay for it, implying someone else got it for him

Does he pay rent at the marina the Jolly Roger is docked at? Doubtful

He can’t drive. Storybrooke’s number one passenger princess

If he is actually paying for things, does that mean the people there take gold coins as a valid currency?

Does he know about vaccines, and has he gotten any?

He does not have a social security number

Can he legally vote?
