He talks about his boyfriend sometimes but never in much detail. Like it's just.

It's all very vague. Not purposely, really, it's just that he never has a reason to go into the details of his relationship, as much as he loves Zuko that's not what his channel is about. But then one day he's doing a live stream and he mentions that he's a trained swordsman and half the comments are just something along the lines of "prove it"

And Sokka is not one to refuse a challenge

"HEY JERKBENDER, GET IN HERE! AND BRING YOUR SWORDS!"

Zuko wins the ensuing match, of course, but it's a close one. Later, Sokka's followers will consider apologizing for ever doubting him, but right now all the comments are some variation of "IS THAT THE FUCKING FIRELORD"

A.N: anon. this idea. i definitely made it a little self-indulgent hence the AFAB aspect, for which i have to apologise- it essentially became what i wanted to hear from my ex when i tried to breach the topic to him tbh. i’ve been looking for excuses to write for this gorgeous man for about a week now (i literally have begun to plan out a multi-chapter fic which is unlike me) so this was a great way to try and get into it. i left the part with the mention of the reader’s name as ambiguous as possible, so you can choose whichever name you actually use- whether you have adopted a new one or not.
