Please do not use ai as a therapist.
It does not help, it just agrees with whatever you tell it. Which can be especially dangerous for people struggling with delusions or paranoia.
It does not know how to handle emergency situations. Please just call or text a help line instead.
I know therapy is not accessible for everyone, but ai is not a replacement. It is better to talk to the people in your life or even journal.
This video by Caelen Conrad does an excellent job at showing just how dangerous and unhelpful ai therapists can be (warning this video discusses suicide, murder, and has a robot voice for the ai throughout):

I wish Americans fucked with more foreign music. You don’t have to know the language to appreciate a good record. Folks in other countries listen to our music and don’t speak a lick of english. Music needs no translator

I go to work, no one knows I'm schizophrenic.
I make prosthetic feet, none of the costumers know the person who made their prosthetic is schizophrenic.
I go to the grocery store, none of the fellow shoppers or cashiers know I'm schizophrenic.
I take the bus, no one knows I'm schizophrenic.
I go to concerts, no one knows I'm schizophrenic.
I sing karaoke at bars, no one knows I'm schizophrenic.
I pass my neighbors in the stairway, no one knows I'm schizophrenic.
I walk in the park, none of the owners of the dogs I pet know I'm schizophrenic.
Sure, these people may notice that I seem anxious, odd, maybe spaced out at times, but they don't know I'm schizophrenic.
So you don't know that if the strangers around you are schizophrenic either. We are ~0.3-1% of the population. We are everywhere. We are your coworkers, your classmates, your neighbors, the people at the grocery store or on the bus, the people singing at the bars and concerts, the people in your friend group or family. We are part of your community, part of society, part of your life. You wouldn't know unless we told you, and we often don't because of the unfair stigma against us.
Just please consider that we may be close by the next time you choose to make fun of us, or demonize us, or erase us.
And yes, we are also the people speaking to someone that isn't there on the side of the road, or living in a long term psychiatric facility, or locked up in prison, but we are all still part of your community, part of society and part of your life and deserve the same respect that any other human deserves.
Just because you don't care about us, doesn't mean we aren't there.

it's upsetting how much schizophrenics are excluded from the neurodivergent community, even though we are very much so a part of it.
schizophrenia is a type of neurodivergence.
it's such a good thing to see more acceptance happening for autism and adhd for example, but what's not good is seeing so many people ignore schizophrenia or act like it's "too scary" to be included.
i cannot emphasise how harmful and ableist those stereotypes are.

I kinda hate that when people say "no one teaches us this" or "that stuff wasn't in our textbooks so I didnt know" the immediate response is to shit on them for not looking it up on their own when the whole point of things being left out of our education is so we know just enough to not realize that things are missing. You cant ask questions about something that you dont know exists
Yes, people should further educate themselves, but the first step to that is realizing that things were left out of your education. And when people do finally learn this, they are horrified and frustrated.
Yes, if people only say "I wasn't taught" as an excuse and dont search for more knowledge, it's a problem. But mostly, this just seems to be people complaining and venting about a shitty education system and then getting told that actually its their fault that they didnt know that they didnt know something and thus didnt look it up on their own
"But every government does this." Yeah, and how old were you when you realized that? When did you start questioning your education? Did your parents help you? Your friends? People in your community? Did being shit on for not already knowing help you get educated? Or did it just make you feel bad for not being born enlightened?
Yes, some people are going to get there sooner than others. Some people dont have the privilege of not knowing even as children. But being an ass to someone who just started learning isn't helping anything. You just want to feel superior or to take your anger and pain out on someone else. Like, im not saying you have to teach people or be nice, but how hard is it to just not be dismissive or mean
Idk, maybe my autism or my whiteness or my learning disability or all three are stopping us from understanding, but I dont really see how else we could possibly interpret this??? Like, I'd really like to know where ive gonna astray if I have, but literally, i dont know how else to read this stuff???

every time a cis girl becomes a trans man is a good thing actually. the whole world should celebrate. if you came out as transmasc recently and someone had something to say about not needing more men in the world you should make them feel like shit about it. you dont deserve that. your becoming a man makes the world a better place - no ifs, no caveats, no exceptions. you being a man is a good thing because you are trans. you are not abandoning women, or abandoning feminism. you dont now have to dedicate your existence to defending women and being a selfless knight. you dont have to spend every social interaction trying to be as quiet as possible so you can be one of the good ones. you dont have to make yourself small. you get to be angry, sad, excited, horny, tired, scared, you get to expect comfort and rest and patience, just as much as you did before. you haven't betrayed anyone. you are a man now. we're so happy that you are.
EDIT: THIS POST IS ABOUT TRANS MEN AND TRANSMASCULINE PEOPLE EXCLUSIVELY. IT IS NOT A GENERAL TRANS POST. DO NOT DERAIL, AND GET OUT OF THE TAGS TALKING ABOUT WHAT YOU EXPECT TRANSMASCULINE PEOPLE TO BE DOING FOR OTHERS. MAKE YOUR OWN POST.

I would love to see scoliosis representation in media (canon or fanon) that isn't just a character wearing a back brace. I think any depiction of scoliosis is SO RARE to come across that all (well researched) rep is so welcome...At the same time, as someone who never wore a brace, I can't help but feel so left out of the picture sometimes.
There's one character I know who has a spinal fusion surgery scar. That's my own fursona 😭

Anyways here's a very cool and rad flag I found on X/Twitter made by Olivia (@khamorri) that combines the Palestinian flag and the Roma flag together and I think it's so freaking awesome! 😊😊💖💖
(Plus, as an Afro-Romani-Palestinian and a Jew of color, this really warms my heart and makes my mixed heritage feel seen and acknowledged. Seriously, this is THE most perfect and most beautiful flag I've ever seen.
Opre Roma! ✊🏽
Opre Jews! ✊🏽
Opre Palestine! ✊🏽
😎😎😊😊❤💚💙☸️🇵🇸🇵🇸🍉🌿🗝
