Yugoslav Monument Tour #AtlasObscura  Inside the tunnels beneath #Visoko, #Bosnia – believed by some to be the entry passage to a 34,000 year old pyramid. We were lucky enough to meet the archaeologist who discovered the Bosnian pyramids, and had a guided tour of the excavation works. Photograph by Darmon Richter / The Bohemian Blog

Past Future Monument of the Balkans #AtlasObscura  Day 1/12 Right now I’m running a 12-day tour of Yugoslav-era monuments across Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina – and this time I’m doing it as a collaboration with @spomenikdatabase and @atlasobscura. We spent Day 1 getting to know #Belgrade. There’s an independent theatre company based inside an abandoned factory on the outskirts of the city, and when we arrived to explore we immediately got invited inside to watch rehearsals. Because Serbia. Photograph by Darmon Richter / The Bohemian Blog
