this is my first post in here but i gotta make it known
anyone who says katniss was forced to have kids in the epilogue by peeta because she never wanted kids is gonna have to fight me
how hard is it to realize that all she wanted was to be a mother and care for the ones she loved. it was the only thing that really kept her going through the war, the idea that her family, her children, peeta’s children could have a chance to live in a world of no worries of being reaped (which i’m pretty sure is something she said in catching fire if i’m not wrong)
peeta must of been so relieved 15 years after the war ended when katniss said she wanted children
and not because he’s been wanting them so badly and she finally agreed
because she now believes the world is safe for her children to grow in
anyways i’m going to go find a hole and cry

Lenore Dove.
Haymitch's girl is Covey. Lenore, the poem by Edgar Allan Poe, is about a man whose love has died, and Dove is a gray color.
Now THIS is something I don't think anyone had in their bingo card.

The Hunger Games has the FUNNIEST arranged marriage of all time btw. Katniss realizes she'll have to marry Peeta and she's obviously upset so Haymitch tries to comfort her by saying "you could do a lot worse" and Katniss is like "well DUH of course I could do worse than Peeta he's the best & handsomest person on the face of the planet but that's not the POINT I want to be able to choose for MYSELF". Then she goes and chooses Peeta anyway lol. Comedy gold I tell you

my second favorite thing in Nosferatu (1922) is when it cuts to the "werewolf" and it's a hyena with the saddest gentlest eyes you've ever seen
