So I may have forgotten I had started posting stuff here BUT part 2 of the latest Shance au just needs to be polished a bit from my notes and also, idk how some of y'all write action. Sorry I left y'all hanging so much 😅

Shance au where Altea and Earth are making an alliance by marrying their Princess Allura with the Prince Shiro part 1 of 2

I made up some fake Altean traditions, enjoy!

Lance is the Altean prince and Shiro is earth prince who is in an arranged marriage with Lances older sister the princess Allura. The two aren’t exactly happy about it the arrangement, but are glad it is their close friend. Lance has mixed feelings as he knows this is a favorable union for his sister, but he has had a huge crush on Shiro since they were little. They had not seen each other since then so Lance believe his feelings are one sided.

As the set wedding date nears Shiro comes to stay on Altea. They have this tradition where the groom and bride can't see each other til the day so Lance acts as his guide and company for a couple of months. During this time Shiro slowly starts falling for him but he knows he has a duty to perform. Lance loves the person Shiro has become and falls deeper. He knows Shiro is his sister's intended and feelings are a mess until one night they hold a ball.

The ball is part of the tradition. Because it is held during the time they cannot see each other the ball becomes a masquerade party. It is seen as a trial of love as the couple should be able to find each other despite being apart during the pre union period. Couples see this as a sign of great favor and often boast about it and remember it fondly.

Everyone is dressed to the nines but Shiro immediately recognized Lance. He should be looking for Allura but gives himself some time to selfish when approaches with the request for a dance. Lance knew Shiro would recognize Allura the moment he laid eyes on her and found a corner where he could drink in peace. He was startled when a handsome man requested a dance. He wants to get over Shiro and accepts the dance. 

The dance was as much a great idea as it was a terrible idea. He cannot stop thinking of Shiro and projecting on this man. When the song dies out he will thank him and go back to his seat, but his partner gives him a sad smile and asks for one more minute before they part. Lance agrees and is led to a balcony.

A Haggar redemption with Lance sent to the past, kinda. Incomplete and spoilers if you have yet to watch the series.

LI have been thinking of a Haggar redemption idea where she hides her hHonerva side masquerading as Haggar trying to stop things from the inside. Unfortunately she realizes 1 it's too late and 2 she needs help. The black paladin (Shiro) is too compromised thanks to her and the red paladin is too rash. She wouldn't want to put so much pressure on the green one and knows the yellow one needs time to grow into himself before she can consider him, and unfortunately time is running out. The princess is not going even think about it as well as Coran. The blue paladin is her only option. Initially she isn't sure but the more she thinks about it the more he makes sense.

She just needs to isolate him to give him his mission. She won't be in the right mind set when she sends him back so she needs to send him with the proper tools. Upon meeting she is shocked when her magic reveals altean ancestors related to her. Now more than ever she is sure he was always meant to be a paladin and help her. The past altean ancestor allows him to undergo preparations with ease and their distant relationship allows their quintessence to resonate much more.

Lance is not sure at first but the chance to undo so much suffering wins out. Matts fake death hurt but it did not compare to the real thing. Neither did facing the robeast of Thace or the execution of Sam Holt. He agrees and Haggar whisks him away for his training. They don't have much time now that she openly defied Zarkon in orchestrating this meeting. She also has Voltron and their allies hunting her down so the clock is ticking quickly. 

She trains him as best as she can along with giving him all the inside information she can give him. They end up running out of time and rush sending him back. The rushing as well as distant relation resulting in him being sent back earlier than expected. They had agreed to send him back when the rescued Slav so that his memories wouldn't overwhelm him and Slav could explain it all. Instead, he ends up being sent after the Kerberos mission. 

The memories overwhelm him and it takes him a few days to fully assimilate/understand them. The garrison wants to send him to his family for down time but Lance refuses not wanting to fall behind. Thankfully Hunk is there to take care of him and provide support. Lance takes advantage of the downtime to start planning. His first step is to make nice with Keith and prevent his expulsion. Unfortunately he doesn't know what caused it the first time and endeavors to prevent it all the same and wait for Pidge to join.

He is successful to some degree. He is able to befriend a tentative Keith with Hunks help but he gets expelled all the same. They keep contact with him and sneak out to see him instead of going clubing like the last time. Hunk is happy for that and doesn't worry as much. Lance gets into fighter class and Pidge comes with it. They have just as much trouble getting her to open up but unlike last time they have a Keith to help them.They force Pidge to go with them one day and Pidge is shocked that 1 they are indirectly part of the same side (searching for the truth about kerberos) and 2 do not fully trusting the garrison. 

She starts crying because of how overwhelming it is knowing she wasn't alone in her belief and in her pain. With their help she can get more done and have extra pairs of eyes and covers. It is a little strange for her since she was only used to having her family as her support, but this might be nice. She also has fun hacking a garrison hover bike so that they don’t have to rely on Keith for transport in case he is needed elsewhere. Hunk helps modify it so that it no longer screams garrison property and Lance calls dibs on painting it Blue

They makes the usual plans and find the cave earlier. They just don't explore it which Lance is thankful for as that means his knowledge of events yet to pass remains unknown. He can’t explain anything now, but he plans to find the time. Hunk can already tell he is different but thankfully that ball of sunshine is incredibly understanding. 

The time for episode 1 comes and they are all listening in on Pidges radio. Keith is the eyes outside and has Hunk with him as back up. Lance is happy they became friends earlier since now they all have some sort of combat training. Lance still remembers the stuff from when he was a paladin but Keith trains them all up because of 1 paranoia and 2 he doesn't want them to rely on weapons to get out of tough situations. With the garrison as it is he is scared they might be detained. Knowing Pidges secret motivates them all to maintain it to the best of their ability.

As a result of this training they are all better prepared, but Hunk flourishes. He always had muscle but no control making him hide himself as much as he can to keep from accidentally hurting others. Lance never cared and knows how tactile Hunk is so he always instigates all the hugs and cuddles Hunk needs. Pidge calls her mom and gives her updates from the shack. She does not want to make her worry or make a connection the garrison can potentially exploit. When Shiro arrives the crew rescues him easily and out run the garrison on their tail.

They go to his shack after meeting at their rendezvous point and cover their tracks. The shack is where all their supplies are held so they want to make sure they do not lead anybody there. Any essential/crucial stuff is carried on their person so even though this mission was impromptu they did not leave anything of value or incriminating at the garrison. 

They treat Shiros injuries and his recovery is swift. They just want to make sure he will well as they take stock of their supplies and the situation. He is given the quick note of what he missed and Pidge being Katie waits as he processes everything. Plus he will figure it out soon.  

They are now ready to explore the cave and this is where i brainstorm because i have several clashing ideas fighting each other. I have 2.5 deviations. The .5 is canon with some modifications

First deviation! It would be interesting to have Lance as the black paladin, Keith as the red paladin, and Shiro as the blue Paladin. The idea behind it is mostly that Lance being part altean and Keith part galra are like opposite of their predecessors.

Second deviation(s)! Lance becomes/remains the red paladin. This one mostly has Lance being sad about blue and when they find red lance is like "ready to be my leading man" to red as he extends his hand. That one is split between having Shiro as the black paladin and having Keith as the black paladin. Lance being sent back inadvertently changed them all. They are not the same as their canon selves so I can see black paladin Keith being a possibility.

Some more changes this au features is thtat Hunk is still a ball of sunshine, but he is much more confident in himself. Part of it is Keith’s training and friendship along with Lance and Pidges. Pidge on the other hand is more opnen. She also has a lot of people to help bounce ideas off of. Keith also taught her hand tricks so all together she is sneakier and more creative. Keith is pretty noticeable in that he a ball of controlled anger that can appreciate a perfectly executed plan. His is not as reckless since he has his friends and surroundings to take into account. Lance has always been the leader of the garrison trio, so now it just extends to add Keith sometimes. When he ins’t leading Keith he is right beside him. Having lived longer he knows when to pull back. Still as stealthy as ever but knows his weaknesses. He also isn't afraid to seek help now.

Pros of non black paladin Shiro is that he is more approachable to the team. This will help them be there for him as Keith can be his only support for so long. Less duties would also allow him to better recover. That is not to say he won’t have duties, but that they will be shared as I see him being the second in command. It also provides a great opportunity for Shance as they would interact more, and black paladin Lance and blue paladin Shiro would have a great working relationship that would transfer over to personal.

When I started this idea I had Matt in mind for shipping. It has too many uncertainties to have a concrete ship but it seems like Shance and Heith are the way to go again. I can’t make up my mind yet on that but Lance is supposed to unleash his altean heritage, free Honerva from the zombie thing, meet Lotor and is so endearing Lotor makes his girls promise to protect him at all costs (despite the conflicting altean “saving” history), the girls also adore him so they are very motivated to protect him,they eventually meet Matt and Matt does the you are so beautiful to Lance, Shiro pulls Matt back and hovers over Lance, they dance around each other until they get together, defeat Zarkon, but there will be the blade! And my babies don't die this time, hopefully.

In waiting so long to post these ideas I have lost a good amount and it sucks. I had one where og paladins ended up mentoring the current paladins and gave everyone a back story but I forgot the details and can’t find it in my messages.

I will continue to post the ideas I do have as they are anywhere from 1 to 3 years old. I don’t want to wait longer and lose more.

Love potion number nine part 2

The Blade has it easiest in this au. The planet they are helping is occupied by a peaceful empathetic race. Because they are so in tune with others they have developed a connection with their planet. This connection leaves there planet similar to a Balmera in that it's a somewhat sentient being along with a massive amount of unique quintessence. The druids are looking to exploit the bond this race has with their planet and start research on weaponizing planets. In the event it fails they can always harvest it's unique quintessence and experiment with that as well.

The empaths feel the sincerity of Kolivan and his blades and offer to help in any way they can as an attack on their planet is an attack on them. They begin to strategize on the best way to protect their plant and improve their defenses. Because they are not combat oriented, they are looking at shields and cloaking. The blade is the best at helping since that is what they did with all of their bases. They are implementing one such method when the leader calls Kolivan over for the classic drink and chat between leaders.

The leader is happy for the help and wants to return the favor. They know there is someone special in Kolivans heart as well as uncertainty. They are unsure why a warrior such as Kolivan feels uncertain about this individual. Kolivan is surprised and realizes it must be Lance. He also tells them that Lance is such a great person, but also the Blue Paladin. He is then questioned as to what makes the pairing not work as they are both warriors, unless they are on opposing sides. Kolivan replies by listing everything that makes Lance so great and is surprised when the leader creates their own list about Kolivan. The leader also says they believe the union to be a complimentary one and even volunteered to host the Paladins and verify the feelings for him. Kolivan is surprised but tells him it won't be necessary. With the war going on they both cannot afford to have distractions. The leader accepts but lets him know the offer still stands.

Hanahaki AU Red Daisies

I promise to organize this better as this is the officialish part 1 but actually post number 4.

Lance got to know Keith better with their adventures, and that made the flowers grow. He also knows Keith is not the type to reciprocate, but lets him know as he does want Keith in his life. Keith is startled but lets Lance go to get his surgery. Since Lance gets crushes all the time Keith figured this was another flower lance had removed. He just hadn’t realized how much that love would be missed.

Lance made his decision to remove the flowers not because Keith wouldn’t love him, but because ofhis duty as a Paladin of Voltron but mostly his family. He wants to live long enough to free the universe and return home. The flowers started slowing him down so surgery was logical despite Pidge and Hunks attempts to try alternatives. They tried getting the name of his love but Lance always refused to say who or what type of alien it is. 

This speculation is brought due to Pidges unofficial expertise. I have yet to think on what brought this about (perhaps people thinking her parents are not meant to be, maybe Matt, or did she have them) but she cares deeply about her older brother figure and wants to see/judge who they love. Back on Earth, hanahaki treatment is in it’s infancy and has high mortality rates as well as things going wrong. Several patients lost all feelings after undergoing surgery so they see it as the absolutely last resort they wish they didn’t have. Luckily they have a galra surgeon on hand because I love Ulaz too much.

They hold a meeting of sorts to talk about his expected recovery that veers of into speculating who he might have loved. Pidge reminds them that Lance develops crushes all the time but flowers do not always develop. All his crushes (both requited and unrequited) back at the garrison would have resulted in a theoretical garden. Only the potential of deep and meaningful bonds between two individuals can result in flower growth, but even then that doesn’t always happen as her parents demonstrate. The flowers are merely indicative of how promising a relationship could be. 

Keith learning that they only form in potential long-haul/forever relationships makes him regret letting Lance go. He thought Lance being a lover boy would have them all the time. He thought he was another person Lance grew flowers from a crush but now there is nothing to do. He also feels guilty in his part for worrying them so he goes to the blade to train.

He planned on staying there a long while but new information gets him sent back along with Kolivan and some blades. He knew he was not ready to see Lance post op but he did not expect to see it hurt. He also noticed how Kolivan started paying special attention to Lance as well as the “new information”. He always knew Kolivan and Lance were close but must they stand so close?

Lotor goes to the blade to try and get help on stopping his fathers reign. His information is proven true and he has proven himself to the blade. His generals are also a great help in helping the halfbreed they have found in how to utilize their secondary lineage.

At this point lance is almost done smelling of the red daisies he got removed. Kolivan and Lotor are traditionalists and waiting for the smell to fade to make their intentions known. They both see how amazing he is. He is such a kind and nurturing individual. He is a strong person who is always looking to improve himself as demonstrated by his bayard getting new forms, but his morals inspire others to be great people. 

Kolivan and Lotor not only want to protect him, and they know he does not need protection, but want a chance to be with him. The blades and generals see and can’t help themselves. They always try to find ways to get their leader with Lance in a romantic environment and are conscious of their feelings. They are the best wingman in that they do not force it and the paladins pick up on it.

They are getting ready to go up in arms but Coran and Allura tell them about galra culture. They are surprised and fascinated, but ultimately decide to give both suitors the shovel talk. They know Lance would feel conflicted about two people liking him as somebody would end up hurt no matter who he chooses. This leaves the two to think and talk as they do not want to cause Lance distress.

I am between giving the two flowers or giving Lance flowers. Also, as I continue this idea it is making itself Kolivan/Lance/Lotor. So I guess it is kolivancelot.

Hanahaki AU add on with Honerva/Zarkon

This all started because I imagined og Zarkon getting the coughs and Honerva getting worried. It was also inspired by an old song, Stupid Cupid by Connie Francis. 

When Honerva realizes it’s the hanahaki disease she demands Zarkon “tell me their name so that I can make sure they know what a treasure you are and that even if they are not worthy of you that they do their best” making him speechless. He really looks at her and then hugs her while saying “I don;t think I will have that problem with her” and Honerva angrily pulls back demanding to know who she was, not realizing it’s her. She was ready to teach a bitch some manners lol.

And then they getting together but the whole thing happens and now we have the current timeline. When Haggar gets her memories back she gets her feelings too. The flowers return and Zarkon is the emperor, not her husband.

From there it can be angst or a big ass trial of love.

AI Lance au with Hance

It has a happy ending I promise! Warning for character death(s) and suicide mention. 

Here the galra had gotten a paladin in their custody and interrogated them but it didn’t work. The rest of the team rescue him and they are no more closer to beating Voltron but they know the conventional methods work. This leads to new interrogation methods and experiments. They do take time but become ready once Lotor takes over. Once they have success they set a trap for the team and get a paladin. They were aiming for the green paladin as the smartest but ended up with the blue one who jumped in. They are initially displease but see this as a way to test out if there are any differences because of the lion bond.

This new method was inspired by Sendaks notes of the castle. They upload Lances memory into a ship but something goes wrong. He has some awareness and fights back but is ultimately uploaded. He knows they are after his memories and "deletes" them. Eventually they are left with an ai that knows nothing but may yet have it uses. They put all the info of the blue paladin under wraps and utilize this new ai. They give him some new name and corrupt him.

Lotor grows fond of his new "pet" and decides to keep him close instead of using him out in battle. The paladins have info about a new weapon and board the ship with plans on hijacking it. The "ai" senses it and lets Lotor know. Lotor leaves to handle it and tells the ai to remain there and send updates. Ai lance having his core personality get curious and goes to "greet" one of them.

He can see all the paladins on board and follows the yellow one. Something about him pulls (i need to make him a fake name) ai Lance initially he wants to control the weapons and attack Hunk but decides to pop up in front of him. Hunk is startled and amazed to see Lance. He softly utters his name wondering what kind of dream this was. Lance ai responds with a snappy "you don’t tell the enemy your weapon" as he readies the lasers in the area Hunk starts shaking and asks him why he doesn't remember his name. Lance ai get confused and thinks its a ploy to stall for back up but hunk persists and starts shouting as his eyes start shining with unshed tears.

He shoots his lasers but makes them non fatal. Hunk saw them coming but refused to move or even use his bayard/shield. Shortly after the team shows up and pull hunk out. They don't see ai Lance since he went back into the system but was spying on them.

He hears the green one start talking about Lance and realizes he wasn't stalling. Realizing there is more to the story he hacks Hunks helmet/armor and follows them. He needs answers. This encounter has left him with so many possibilities making his core feel infected. Or more like able to acknowledge the infection in his core. Hunk is placed into the healing pods and aiLance remains nearby. He wants to explore the castle but knows all his answers can be found in the yellow one. 

Pidge being paranoid ever since the Sendak corruption and Lance disappearance starts her daily routine of running a background scan as she works on her projects. She finds corrupt data in the med bay and goes rushing and calls for back up using the special code meaning possible hostile in med bay and is the first one there. AiLance is distracted looking at Hunk and doesn’t notice the new presence until he hears THAT name again. Pidge knows it’s a trap but cant helps the hurt at seeing Lances image. She shouts at him to get away from Hunk and the ai just tilts his head. Pidge just wants to cry under a blanket because that tilt is such a Lance thing and gets her bayard ready.

She shouts her final warning when he starts speaking. It’s a barely a whisper but she’s not sure if she heard right. His eyebrows furl in confusion as he asks "why do I see you and think four eyed grimlin? Why do I know your number 5? Why do think of games when I see you?!” With every statement he starts getting more frantic until hes shouting "why does the infection in my core feel better when he is near!?" The crew come in as he shouts the last one. All are frozen at what they see. Confused because Lance is an ai, but Coran and Allura know whats happening.

Coran pushes through the pain but will do his best to help out not just a paladin of Voltron but Lance. He is able to calm him down with the promise of Hunk waking up in just a few tocks. The hostility in the air is still there but not as prevalent as it was earlier. Shiro wants to ask him what he remembers but knows that might cause an outburst. Hunk is finally out and after the initial drowsiness goes away sees aiLance walking/floating/idk how he moves to Hunk. Though he know he is not in his body, he reaches out to Hunk. Hunk reaches out to him with those big hands that aiLance somehow knowas are soft and warm. But when they touch all he feels is cold and the rage sets in because he knows he was someone before they made him into what he is now. His ai coloring that were previously shades of light blues and blue eyes turns into shades of purple with red eyes.

He disappears and Pidge can tell with her equipment that the castle is still clean. Meanwhile Allura and Coran are trying to figure out how to tell them that lance wont be coming back to them. Meanwhile Lotor back on the ship is trying to figure out how they took his ai. He thinks the paladins took him and plans on getting him back. He visits the room where his body is frozen. He did it frequently until Haggar reminds him about the obsession that took down his father. AiLance in the meantime is jumping from ship to ship looking at files. 

His anger at the galra and druids makes him start his own attacks at his "creators" killing them one by one. Lotor thinking it’s the paladins starts an all out search. Eventually aiLance is back at the ship that created him and appears in front of Lotor. Lotor can tell something is wrong. He tries stalling for time but Lance strikes before he can do anything. He knows he won’t be able to go back into his body now. He knows why the paladins information wasn't complete. Why the loaded pod was inaccessible to him all this time. He shouts those things as he launches his attack on them but is ultimately knocked out by Haggar.

She knew this was bound to happen and made contingency plans. Lotor is placed in their med bay while Haggar decides to fix aiLance knowing how much Lotor liked him. Back in the castle Coran and Allura just straight up tell them that the best they can do is recover Lances body and hope the ai can be locked into a storage device. The crew is heart broken but Hunk is devastated. He knows how much pain aiLance is in. He knows there isn’t much that can be done but refuses to settle. He doesn't just want to recover his boyfriends body, he wants the ship that took him too and the vile beings that did that to him.

Everyone is on board and hopeful. Perhaps if they have the technology that corrupted lance they could reverse the effects. After quick and careful planning they are ready to board but ar shocked at what they see. While the ship is still functional it may as well have been scrap metal. They didn't even need to use the evasive manoeuvres or attack plans they created.

Haggar is in the middle of "fixing" the ai when a druid comes in speaking of Voltron. Knowing what/who they were after she sends one with special orders down to the pod with the body. Allura and Pidge knew Haggar was going to pull some shady shit are glad for their plans. Before boarding the figured out 2 possible places his body would be hidden in and send 2 teams while Hunk and Keith distracted the one in charge. 

Their plan works but Haggar was able to make it so that the corruption would eventually delete aoLance. The ship is on its way down now that lance was subdued by Haggar. Hunk is able to upload him into his helmet/armor so they return the ship with both body and ai. They work fast to fix the corruption but don’t think they will be fast enough. AiLance isn’t purple with red eyes anymore, but he isn’t his normal blue. He is just white and his eyes are barely blue. 

He doesn't remember much but knows these people are important. His damaged core tells him so. He smiles sweetly at them as his eyes start losing what little color they had. His core knows he can’t touch but he can’t help but reach for the yellow one. Just as their hands get close he disappears into fragments of light.

Pidge buries her head into Keith’s side as he holds her.  Shiro holds back his tears as he places his hand on Hunks shoulder. Coran, Allura, and the mice stay at the edges but their grief is no less. Hunk holds his stretched hand out for a few seconds before bringing it up to hold the one at his shoulder. He knows it isn’t Lances, they aren’t as soft yet hold just as much strength. but he just needs to hold a hand to anchor him.

They just want to sleep but know they need to eat. Coran and the mice help them while Allura gives them time. They still need to find out what exactly happened on that ship and their allies have begun to send messages. They all sleep in giant cuddles with Hunk in the middle.

Coran keeps an eye on them while Allura goes through the messages. It seems her fathers wish has come to fruition, but at quite the cost. Somehow all the galra bases scattered throughout the explored universe have been turned into tombs. All galra and galra employed gladiators were found dead. The prisoners claimed the lights turned of and shouts of pain was all they heard for a while. When it became silent, their cells opened up with a trail of lights lead them to the escape pods. The pods were programmed to a liberated planet with varying destinations so as to not overwhelm the resources.

She knows she should be haply that the prisoners are now free but the carnage left in its wake makes her feel hollow. She wants to be glad they are wiped out like they did her people, but she knows they couldn't all be evil and mourns for those they couldn't rescue. Most of all she mourns for Lance, for all the pain he was put through, and for all his corruption made him do. She knows he wouldn’t have done all that but is a victim of circumstances. 

She feels guilty for forcing him into the role of paladin as she finally lets her tears out. After their brief period of mourning they go back to work. With the universe free of galra and druid influence they begin reuniting prisoners with their families and rebuilding planets. It’s one of these planets that provides them a gift they thought impossible. Among the prisoners was a being of great power. His planet was destroyed by Zarkon long ago because of their power. In an attempt to "harvest" that power Zarkon ordered all but 2 children to be killed. He would make them do his bidding by threatening the other one until his friend grew tired of such machinations and put an end to it with her life. Now that there was no way to motivate the being so Zarkon had him locked away. 

AiLance freed him during his rage but the being sensed him and still senses him. He felt the pain the ai was in and knew he had to aid him upon being free. Though his race was usually prideful, this one just wanted to repay the debt and find a quiet place to live out the rest of his life. Coran freaks out when he sees him remembering Zarkon had one in his army before they were put to sleep. He calls out a warning to Hunk but the being then bows to Hunk. Coran is flabbergasted and Hunk is trying to make the guy get up. The being then asks about Lance and everyone is sadly telling him how he died.

It was too painful to send him back home so they just kept his frozen body with the far off hope of healing him someday. He looks at them confused and tells them that although the pain had lessened he still senses it in Lance. They are confused until he points to Hunk. Hunk had taken to carrying the device that held lance when the got out of the ship. They also used a marriage ceremony they found at a flea market since they knew their job was dangerous but couldn't wait until they got back home. It was place holder for when they could get back home and have their wedding with their family and friends present. Turns out that ceremony was from his culture and a very powerful and selective one at that. 

It only works on couples that are completely devoted to each other. Very few of the couplings that try the ceremony end up receiving the blessing granted making them doubt each other and separate. The ceremony bonded a couple so that no matter what separated them, they would always be connected. That’s why Lance despite dispelling into lights was still hovering around Hunk. The device that held him only amplified Lances presence and the fact that his body was frozen makes it possible to bring Lance back.

The being warned them this never happened before or attempted, but they were willing to try. It works and Lance is brought back. He was in a coma state for some time before he was able to stay awake long enough to understand what was happening. 

He has to learn to walk again but is so happy to be back with the team. They give him this sense of peace he hasn't had in a while. He also pushes back the memories from his time as an ai. He knows he did bad things, the memories are there, but he doesn't want them to know the details. HunK and Pidge are the most clingy with Coran being a mother hen. Keith and Shiro are like a mix of body guards that spoil him and give reminders for his recovery. Allura though knows he needs to talk to someone. 

She knows he isn't ready but left him the offer of talking to her if things get to be too much. The mice can always be found showing him tricks or napping with him. After a particularly bad nightmare Lance wanders the halls. He bumps into Shiro who just came out of the training room and go for some space coco. Lance doesn't intend to start talking but seeing Shiro so calm he starts aasking how? How do you live with yourself after everything you've done? Shiro looks at him to collect his thoughts before answering. 

He knows their situations despite being similar are different. He knows he did some things but it was all to survive and one day earn redemption. To live on to make sure others don’t suffer as he did and to look around because while he did some things, he has brought so much good. He is not saying that is an excuse to pardon his actions, but he understands where lance is coming from. Lance ultimately starts crying and Shiro just holds him until he falls asleep. 

Hunk is at the door with his own tears. He knew Lance needed to share and wished Lance would share with him, but knew he needed support from another survivor. Shiro hands him off to Hunk as they both walk back to the big cuddle pile in the common area where Pidge and Keith are awake. They have a half empty tray of snacks that Coran made them. Allura turned some music on for them and the mice are resting on Pidges hair and shoulders. One little brave one is sleeping on Keith's shoulder. 

Seeing Hunk come in with Lance they start turning everything off and going back to the cuddles. They put Lance in the middle with Pidge and Hunk at his sides. Keith and Shiro are on the outsides a little far away but no less attentive To Lance. Keith has his knife and bayard at the ready while shiro sleeps in an uncomfortable position that is easily to go into attacking. They all sleep and for once Lance wakes up before them. He wakes up feeling to hot and then sees why. 

During their entire time together everyone had been hovering and close yet kept some space to not over crowd him. Now after his little breakthrough they need to show Lance they know and don’t care. They just miss him that much and he can see it in how they sleep so close to him. He feels the love and just starts crying and everyone starts waking up panicked at his tears and just group hug him when he starts thanking them for saving him and staying with him even after everything. They just hug it out and tell him how he is such a vital part. They can't stand up for long without a leg and just want him to be happy. They know it wont be that fast or easy but they are all there for him.

They fall asleep like that when Allura comes in to check on them. She looks at them fondly as she covers them in blankets. They accidentally sleep in but they needed the down time. Lance starts communicating more with Shiro and Allura and starts feeling more like himself. Hunk and Pidge are great supports and Keith surprises them. He can tell when lance needs some space and just hauls him off to Blue. He hops in and they both go to some nice part of the planet they're on and just silently take in the view. It comforts Lance to be near Blue and with Keith there he feels comfortable enough to let his guard down. 

He is also touched at Keith going with him in is lion as that speaks of trust in his skills to pilot for the both of them. They come back to the castle mellow and filled with soft smiles. With time and his support Lance is better. His isn't the same boy from Cuba, but he isn't much of a boy anymore. He is happy for the person he has become and the people his surrounded with. 

Though the galra have been defeated they still have planets to help. With Shiro and Lance they are able to help the prisoners from gladiator rings and Keith helps other half galras come into their heritage. Hunk and Pidge are setting up communication hubs so they can keep in touch with the newly freed planets while Coran and Allura are making the connection with diplomatic visits. They are all happy to move on and can't wait to tell their family back home their adventures. They also have a wedding to look forward to.

Shance and Heith au where hunk sees the pain Keith is going through when Shiro disappears and decides to help him out

Keith is initially suspicious but taken in and eventually smitten. Lance is peeved and doesn't hang out with hunk for a bit but thankfully Pidge is there to knock some sense into him. Lances stops moping around their dorm and has a heart to heart with Hunk. This results in a truce between Keith and Lance.

Keith feels bad for separating Hunk and Lance but he wants to be selfish for once. Especially because that's all he has right now and he knows if it wasn't for Hunk he would have been expelled with all the bs the garrison is coming up with.

So Keith starts trying to be nicer to Lance and in one of his patience yields focus moments he sees beneath the mask lance makes and understands him. Lance is initially shocked but happy their is someone else who can understand him. Hunk is a blessing but only a treatment for the symptoms while Keith is genuinely trying to help him get over the little things he never noticed hurt him. He also does not want to overburden Hunk as Hunk has his own issues and he is glad to see Keith is also helping him.

So now they are close and because this wouldn't've happened without Pidge they try to include them in their shenanigans. Eventually they chip through that armor but then the incident happens. One of the instructors (maybe Iverson) is bringing up insecurities in Lance public humiliation to make an example style (a style I hate for so many reasons). They were going over stuff that he is working on and Keith refused to let Lance feel hurt again and fall back. Keith swings several times and gets escorted out/expelled as Lance and Hunk are being held back so they can't help him.

Blue calls for him but this time he has help from the other three because instead of sneaking out to have fun they sneak out to visit him and give him supplies from the garrison. They also find blues cave faster but since its not time yet the rubble doesn't break. Lance likes visiting the cave when he can because while initially he thought it was a ghost talking to him, she doesn't seem so bad and even sounds a lot like Keith. The crew is dubious and not so sure Lance should be talking to a ghost but Keith doesn't have a bad feeling and Pidge just wants to find the body for science.

Now enter shiro!

They are able to save him with a similar plan but Lance has his own speedster and the 2 teams get away going down the same cliff like last time and go to the shack. Feeling angsty Keith and Hunk go for a ride and cuddle session. Keith entrusts Shiro to Lance and Pidge because thats' how close the group is. Shiro is still feeling hazy and wakes up to Lance taking care of him. He blurts out if all angels are as beautiful as they are gentle before smiling at lance and going back to sleep.

Pidge is just snickering while lance is blushing and stuttering. When Keith and Hunk come back Pidge lets them know they are in the presence of a divine being and all make fun of him for a bit before checking in on Shiro. Shiro wakes up again with Keith next to him and start asking if it's a dream. Keith lets him know its not and the broganes cuddle as they catch up.

They wonder if the cave will open up now and go back when Shiro is well recovered. He is also a lil pink around Lance and Lance is also a lil pink around him but acts like his usual self. He just has a lil more bravado around Shiro. He doesn't bring up the angel thing because he thinks it was just the meds talking but the comment made him happy.

Shiro doesn't bring up the angel comment because he us not sure where lances preference lead and refuses to make him feel uncomfortable. It also doesn't help when he flirts with Allura when they meet. Keith notices Shiro is acting a little off but doesn't know if its because of his time in captivity

Pidge also lets them know earlier that shes a girl since the team as a whole is close, or closer than in the show at least. Shiro and lance are usually found together while Hunk and Keith are officially together.

Lance still flirts and it bothers Shiro until Keith has a little talk with him. He gives him the don't hurt Lance talk and to be patient because he knows his best friend. Yes they are best friends, or best rivals depending on who you ask. And he knows for a fact that Lance likes him in more than just a friend way.

And shiro us like what me?! He likes me???!!!! Keith is like yea doofus. Now remember he is strong but has a fragile heart and now go ask his other father for his blessing. By that he means Hunk

Shiro is initially puzzled but then realizes how Keith is actually wingmaning him. He thinks first before going to Hunk. He knows Hunk is the closest he can get to Lances family and will ask permission to date Lance. That is if lance will take him, and if lance is ready. Hunk is quiet for a moment just looking at him before he rushes him.

Shiro closes his eyes waiting for the punch but gets a really warm hug. Hunk lets him go and tells him how he is happy and knows Shiro will make Lance happy. He follows up with one of the most intimidating hurt him and I will not hurt you. Instead i will take you to his family who will then hurt you so much you will wish for many unpleasant things until your end. So keep Lance happy new friend.

Shiro doesn't worry because he knows that making Lance happy is the only way he would be happy. So now Shiro is off to find ways to show Lance he is cared for and eventually romance him. When the attack on the castles crystal happens Shiro is devastated but understands where Lance is coming from. Once recovered he knows he will tell Lance how important he is to not only him but to the team

When Lance wakes up the whole crew is there but Shiro is the one to catch him. Everyone is happy to see him well but they leave them after a while to give them privacy. The two become official and i don't know what happens from there.

Pokemon Gym Leader Lance with Klance and Shadam

Pkmn vld au where Shiro is the retired champion who discovers his true calling, pokemon breeding/daycare. It came about as he helped a gym leader rescue some kids who attempted to start their journey early and as thanks, Lance takes him to his cousins daycare where he preps him a room and a mini feast. Adam having heard about the kids rushed over to make sure his biggest brat aka lance is ok.

Lance starts blushing because cmon he is THE Gym Leader that everyone struggles with and street cred but Shiro just laughs and Adam introduces himself. They all get to speaking and it is clear to lance that the two have a spark. He tells them he is going to take care of his darlings and tuck in all the pokemon in the daycare while wishing them a goodnight. Shiro is like oh i should probably sleep too and Adam leads him to the guest room while thanking him again because he knows his cousin.

Every time someone is in need his cousin drops everything and helps them. It was due to this selflessness that Adam worries. Shiro is amazed and is like y’all are cool dudes and they go their separate ways after wishing each other a goodnight. The next day Shiro is woken up by a mischievous pokemon and Adam bursting in trying to wrangle it back into the breakfast hall. Shiro laughs after helping Adam catch it (maybe its mimikyu. That pikachu disguised pokemon that just wants to be loved 😭) and inadvertently becomes the pokemons pal in that he likes him and doesn't want to leave.

Adam is perplexed as that pokemon was abandoned by its owner after they caught a pikachu. Mimikyu is kind of like a feral in that regard but Lance and Adam have been working to help it recover and be happy. It’s well on the way but will be clingy with its faves which is why mimikyu is not an adoptable pokemon as he is their lil guy. He also likes to take Lance his lunch as that is one of the biggest things that has helped him recover and learn to socialize. Its just that mimikyu wants to hang out with Shiro more so Adam asks Shiro if he could have Mimikyu accompany him and take Lance his lunch. The two go and inadvertently mimikyu is giving Shiro a tour when they reach the gym.

Shiro was mistaken as a challenger but then mimikyu is spotted and they let him through. The person also belatedly realizes this is the dude that helped Lance save his dumbass little sister and thanks him as he knows how far their leader (Lance) would have gone to save her and the rest of the brats. Shiro says it was no problem and carries on. Lance is all happy to see mimikyu and Shiro. He also gets to chatting aka probing about how long Shiro is gonna stay and finds that Shiro doesn't know. Lance extends the offer for however long he wants as his favorite people and pokemon like him already so he can't be bad, plus he saves children on his time off lol. 

Shiro is like you know what, i might just do that. Plus lance can tell there is a hurt somewhere in there as the last time mimikyu behaved that way was when he went through some shit *coughNymacough* and he was sent to Adams place. He is much better now but he can't help but wonder if Shiro will get the healing he needs. He also definitely can see them together so he is all for Shiro staying around. Shiro is curious about a lot of things and Lance indulges him as he can tell Shiro is surprised at his gym. It is known that the 8th badge is hard to get that the gym leader is compared to one of the elite four. Shiro had heard many people complain but had no idea he was so young. And that’s when Nyma comes in.

As a kid, lance found a feebas. He was not old enough to have a pokemon but he was friends with this pokemon. It was also where his beauty routine started as he could tell his little buddy did not like being called ugly. Eventually someone took notice if his routine and befriended him, Nyma. She was a couple years older and definitely one of the cool kids. Lance was amazed and told her everything despite his family discouraging him. One day it all came to a halt as Nyma used a pokeball to catch feebas before it evolved and had a rocket grunt who was willing to shell out the money. It is known that when evolved they make powerhouses but the time is not something anyone would want to invest. 

Lance realizes what happens and goes to rescue his friend but it goes terribly wrong. At this point Nyma has already met up with her friend and began their journey while the team rocket member decides to kidnap lance. If the feebas he buys proves to be good, he will have lance do the time investment part and he would have a bunch of strong pokemon. Feebas could tell something was wrong the moment Nyma caught her and had been trying to break out of the pokeball since then. Perhaps it was the weak bond between her and Nyma, but feebas broke out and evolved to save Lance. The rocket grunt us surprised but excited as the evelotion is much stronger than any other he has battled. This proves Lances quality making him want to catch the pokemon and keep lance. 

Milotic ain’t having that shit and goes all out in the battle and drives the grunt away. Its Just that the town lance was taken to is scared of milotic and start trying to kill her. Lance rushes to her and tried getting her to go away but she wouldn't so he does something that hurts him too. He calls her ugly and throws rocks in her direction to try and spook her away. It works and lance is happy knowing that she is safe. It is just heart breaking for him and his family tries to help but it doesn't work. It isn't until Adam is brought up that they send him away for a change if scenery.

It works and Lance helps Adam around the daycare (that will also be like a shelter because he saves pokemon) and finds himself attached to a ghost fairy pikemon  mimkyu. He had no name at the time but they nicknamed him gumdrop because he is clingy and sticks to you if he likes you. I also like to think they would have several outfits for him or accessories. But anyways, Adam and Gummy get him out of his funk and he starts being open to having pokemon again. He and Adam have a way with them and end up raising a lot of strong and healthy pokemon. They also start to train some special pokemon that are there to help people who are unable to fully care for themselves. Those tend to take the most time to train as they cant just use any temperament. They are new and a lot of people are skeptic, but the McClains are nothing if not full of compassion. 

Lance and Gumdrop had both been learning to socialize again and Lance met many people who needed help in their daily lives. That is how it became his passion project and the locals love him even more. Adam was already highly regarded in their town, but Lance despite being from another town, cemented himself as a local hero from such a young age. Later on he would be of age to start his pokemon journey, but he would miss his home too much so he gets his licence but remains there. He does Apprentice under the local gym leader as one of the pokemon caretakers and accidentally gets challenged by a person trying to get the gym badge. 

He refuses but the brat won't take no for an answer and Lance reluctantly battles. He asks the pokemon he was pampering if they would help him and they agree as the new comer was irritating them through the aggression towards one of their favorite humans. Lance also asks Gumdrop to find Blaytz. Lance floors the guy just as Blaytz rushes in.Thus began Lances career and quick ascension to gym/town leader. Shiro is amazed at all of them. He also tells them he can see why the townsfolk love and protect them so much. Lance thanks him for lunch and listening to his origin story but can't ignore his duties and sends him to Adam. 

It is also crazy timing as there is a misplaced pokemon wreaking havoc. A cubone was spotted in the area but they are not native to the area meaning it was lost or abandoned. Adam is dispatched and Shiro joins him. The pokemon center would typically take care of those calls but they had an influx of challengers and travelers so they are unable to assist. What is more pressing is that witnesses have noticed it had a different coloring and a chip in its helmet (Spoiler it is one of those alola variations). Adam takes Shiro and his best helper, a Kangaskhan who can calm anyone. He found her when Lance busted an illegal pokemon trade ring. They were too late to save her cub, but Adam was able to save her. She was very angry and feral with the officers talking about putting her down but Adam and Lance did not give up and she is now their star helper. 

Shiro is amazed again and doesn't realize that he has fallen in love with Adam. Seeing how gentle he is makes Shiro realize he wants that in his life. That sense of peace and fulfillment. Some time goes by and Shiro has become a part of their home and routine. Lance gets up for his gym duties leaving Adam and Shiro to take care of the daycare. Adam runs errands while Shrio and Gumdrop take lunch to Lance. Adam returns home and occasionally finds Shiro cooking or checking on their special case rescues. They eat and chat until Lance gets out and brings then some late dinner. It isn't until a trainer shakes things up. 

Not on purpose, but through a member she has on her team. Challenger Allura had a well rounded team. She was doing well but her last pokemon puts a halt to the battle. It is a Milotic that Lance never forgot. Milotic seems to remember him as well but is conflicted as they are battling. Lance calls his pokemom back and runs to milotic. She is not showing signs of aggression but both remember the last time they saw each other. He wants to be sure its his precious girl and calls her her old name, Blue. Hearing the longing in his voice Blue is happy.He missed her as much as she did and wraps him up in a hug. 

Allura is puzzled but figures this must have been a long awaited reunion. She is hesitant to break it up but her curiosity as to what will happen wins out. Lance is a little embarrassed at his lack of professionalism but tells Allura he cannot battle Blue and as such forfeits giving her the final badge she needed. He just hopes Allura and her team can recover a bit and let him hang out with Blue before she goes on her journey to challenge the league. She agrees on the condition that he tells her how they were separated. Lance goes about his routine by buying dinner and heading home. 

Allura follows as he tells her about a boy who found a pokemon that was lonely and a boy that was equally as lonely and the foul dust that preyed on them (i got that from the great gatsby. I hate that book but I read so carefully to not read it multiple times, but I read too carefully and it stuck lol). It breaks her heart a bit as one of her pokemon was given to her by her now late father. They walk in with Allura trying not to cry and Lance trying to placate her but Adam thinks something bad happened and is all like Lance *middle name* McClain *second last name* what have you done. 

Shiro goes behind him placing a hand on his shoulder while telling Adam it is easy to jump to conclusions so why not have dinner while they talk things over to which they do. Now everyone is crying with Lance and Allura heading over to the pond on their land. Lance and Blue swim and Lance keeps on apologizing for being so mean and Blue keeps hugging him. Back at the house Allura is talking to Shiro as she cannot believe he is there. Shiro tells her about how he retired and is no longer the champion. He hasn't found the chance to tell Adam but he loves being there. Allura is like cool. I am gonna restock before going to league and let Lance hang out with the newly discovered Blue. 

Adam pops in at that point and thanks allura for being so understanding Allura tells him it’s no problem. She also worries if her staying there is ok as Lance let her stay in a guest room. Adam says it is no problem and starts giving her the tour while Shiro takes over the dishes. My brain has fizzed out but Allura wants to give blue back to Lance but Lance doesn't want to imbalance her team. He tells her he is happy to see them whenever they are in the area. He also hopes Blue helps her on her journey. 

Kolivan is the current champion with Keith, Kroila, Ulaz, and Thace as the elite four. Allura and Keiths battle does quite a number on the arena but ultimately Allura pulls out before Blue could get injured further. Keith is curious as to why she would do that and that’s when Allura recounts the tale of Lance and Blue. Allura also talks about how great the daycare shelter Adam has that Lance helps at. Keith decides he should take a vacation as it is long over due and the place sounds so relaxing. 

The two meet and Adam is the one to see sparks are flying. Gumdrop likes him so that further cements him in Adams book and it ends with Klance Keith ends up adopting the alola cubone and has training breaks and vacations there and Adams place becomes the place to get your pokemon and visit with your pokemon. 

Side note: Lance will always be like Shiro didn't question my character and he isn't family like you were (all dramatic like lol) after getting Allura settled and stuff. They become bros. The end.

Shance With Light Alternate Universes

Vld au where Lance and Shiro k now they like each other, but Shiro is hung up on the age gal (i cant remember how many years it is) but then while fighting something or exploring some area on a mission Lance pushes him out of the way and disappears except he doesn't. He gets transported to an alternate dimension where he helps their resistance and becomes this bad ass leader who is helping and trying to get home. Point is, by the time he gets home it has been years for him (a la Keith style)

While it has been hours for them. They initially think he is a trespasser but the lions and Slav know it's him. The reunion is touching and there is so much teasing (Matt telling him he is now part of the glow up club) but Shiro is speechless. Lance is all grown up now as years have passed for him. He is also not blind to the changes and knows Lance won't want to be with him anymore. It has been years and it is better that way except Lance still feels strongly for Shiro and does the Sokka rose thing on the bed making Shiro laugh in relief because despite the changes, Lance is still Lance. The two talk and decide that after Lance has been reintegrated they would start to try dating. They do and it goes fabulous the end

Galra Culture Headcanon

Galra are weary of half breeds not because it ruins their purity but because the mixing of genes has bad results on their cultural views. They are a warrior race, but have some morals despite the focus on strength and power. Ones mate for instance was never messed with. On the contrary, when one killed another in ritualistic combat they would provide for the deceased ones mate. That does not mean get with or claim but support them because mates are really Important. 

When they went to war they had family appointed to take care of mates in the event of the soldier not returning home. This support system did not make all recently widowed mates live, but it did help a good amount recover. Now introduce other genes and these instincts/cultural norms are changed. In some instances they are enhanced (and shit goes bad) and in others they are absent (and shit goes bad). It is because of that reason that galra do not like halfbreeds. When Zarkon went crazy he warped it to be interpreted as a purity/supremacy of race thing. This changes what would be considered “modern” galra culture and Lotor’s half heritage was a major factor in his exiled.

Voltron Pokemon AU with Adashi and Klance

This was inspired by a klance cosplay (corwynte on instagram) that was inspired by an art piece (_kiilea on instagram) where they are wearing vaporeon and flareon onsies. I am hesitant to put links in posts.

I imagine trainers Lance and Keith trying to battle only for their eevees to decide they are more curious about each other than wanting to listen to their human friends. They never battle and actually go off to play making Lance and Keith follow them and get to know each other. From there they continue on their own journey of gyms and contests and all but occasionally bump into each other when their destinations coincide. At this point they just challenge each other as a way to say hello but the peace is ruined when Lance discovers his Vaporeon laid a pokemon egg. Now Lance and Keith travel together so as to not divide the family but also Lance has to make sure flareon pays child support for his grand eevee. 

Once the lil tyke is old enough, they decide to let him decide where he wants to go and who his trainer will be. They are somewhat suprised when he chooses to stay with Shiro, their friend who is recovering from a pokemon mill dismantling that went wrong. It will later evolve into an umbreon from a very young age to be stronger for Shiro.

Pidge got her eevee as a wild that wouldn’t leave her alone. Eventually she evolves into a leafeon. Hunks was lost in a cave and kept running away from his eevee. Its shadow scared him as he was looking for fossils in a cave and when it corners him he realizes it was just an eevee all this time. It wouldn't leave him alone and kept trying to play while he tried looking for fossils. It was also a sturdy one because they ended up getting cornered by another more aggressive pokemon and it protected him.

Allura got hers when Corans sylveon hatched an egg. The eevee would follow her around and eventually evolved into glaceon. Corans sylveon was a gift from Alfor and known to birth great eevees. One egg was lost when team rocket stole it. This eevee is later found when one of nurse joys assistants does a house call to his farm. It is Adam and his eevee became an espeon. 

Eventually he is introduced to Shiro and the two hit it off as well as their eevee do. He is also hesitant to leave on account of his lil hatchling having been reunited with his parents, so he ends up asking his boss if he could remain. His boss says yes and AdaShi happens

Lets add in Lotor or Matt whose eevee refuses to evolve and their human friend that agrees and is just a poke/pet parent. The end

Voltron au with drag queens and Shance! Inspired by Rupaul’s Drag Race Part 2

Got him a lot of momentum, and creating content for those marginalized groups like a weekly youtube channel with skits written and produced by them. Later on there is a reality tv show opportunity when the queen of queens requests lance to help screen those that will be competing in a drag competition (like Ru Paul's drag race but in this fake universe) and should he know anyone to send them the link to the application as they will remain open for a while giving them enough time to iron out the contract details and negotiate a guest appearance as Ms. Blue is another great icon. Lance agrees and emails some of the queens he has kept contact with but Keith is the only one he calls.

Keith is in the bathroom but knows its lance as he is the only one who has that ringtone. He makes Shiro answer but did not realize the events that would set in motion. Lance is surprised but remains his flirty self and tells the smoldering voice to let Keith know to call him back as soon as he is available.Shiro is blushy but stutters out that Keith is finishing something in the kitchen but will be with him momentarily. He is just answering on Keith's orders so that he wouldn't miss lance. Lance is like how sweet of him to leave me in such great company making Shiro blush but then Kieth is out of the can so Shiro tells him bye and nice meeting you over the phone as he passes it back to Keith. Keith is kind of catching his breath as he rushed it and lance is teasing him about the mysterious melty voice but then checks himself as he has a great opportunity for Keith. 

Keith is amazed and somewhat unsure but Lance tells him do it bitch. I have seen you grow so much and before you say that's because of me, it is not. Our drags may include technology but yours is all you. Since you made yourself a profile you have exploded and this is the next level. I signed a nondisclosure agreement, but I can tell you I will be a very small part of the show. The worst that can happen is they reject you, but I am positive you will make it to the end if not win it. I sent emails to some other queens, but I called you because I am a big fan and want to see you slay on national television. Keith is touched and agrees to send in an application. Time passes and receives notice that he is one of 10 selected to compete and that they look forward to meeting with him regarding the terms and conditions.

His hotel and travel will be covered and he is allowed to bring 2 guests. He is glad and picks Shiro and Pidge. The whole process is like a lunch orientation vacation. They gave them extra days so they can explore the area before and after the paperwork time. Because they do not have the queens finalized, they are not scheduling them together but individually. Lance is a part of this process and bumps into Shiro while out and about. More like Shiro steps in as the cashier of the juice bar was being a butt to Lance. He was going to step in either way but the fact that its Lance makes him angry. 

After Keith started drag Shiro started doing some research. He found the one who inspired Keith and was enthralled. He became a follower but never went to meet and greets. He occasionally joined as Keith's plus one for competitions but usually it was Pidge who went with him. He was also unlucky because in one of those competitions Pidge met Lance and his main tech support Hunk and they had a blast and shared contact info. Shiro took that as a cosmic sign that Lance was too good for him and left it at that but The Call reminded him of the charisma Lance always has and he fell for him again. 

He is a lawyer so he is all about them fancy words. His fists are just back up according to Keith. So he puts a hand on Lances shoulder and asks if he can step in. Lance is dazed by his beauty and lets him. Shiro tears into the dude in a way that emphasizes how much of an asshole he is and that he will make sure to contact the franchise to see if he is representative of their view on Queens because that is what Lance is. They will be taking their clientele elsewhere and he offers Lance his arm before walking out with him. Some person recorded and posted it making it go viral with many being outraged at the employee for treating a potential customer that way but the fact that its their lovely queen made them out for blood. 

Others are like get that momma Blue, what a man, wishing somebody can make me feel like a queen, meant take a lesson from a true gentleman, if you don't want him can i keep him, etc. And the juice franchise company speaking out because this got A LOT of attention and that ex employee/manager reflected real bad on them. But back to Lance and Shiro, Lance thanks Shiro because he was very close to doing something his friend Red (Keith) would do but thanks to his new hero, he remained the classy lady he is.

Shiro is positively charmed and let him know he is welcome. The two introduce themselves with Lance teasing Shiro like, Shiro the Hero, were you named after your occupation my good sir. Shiro is blushing again. But tells him nothing like that. He is just always ready to fight against inequality and that his brother is always inspiring him. Lance eyes twinkle and he asks about the identity of said brother and Shiro tells him about Keith and recognizing him as his brothers charming friend. Lance is like I knew it was you! I recognized that voice the moment you stepped in. Shiro is like wait you remembered my voice? 

Now lance is the blushy one and confessing that he has a really nice voice that could read audio books or have its own podcast/radio show. Shiro is pleased and asks if it's not too forward of him, to share contact info and get to know each other better as he is simply charmed by Lance and always wanted to meet his brothers other greatest support. Lance is floored and agrees. Shiro is not only charming and a hunk, but he was respectful and broadcasted his intentions. 

Shiro also lets him know if I am reading this wrong I apologize as I did not want to make you uncomfortable. He was also serious about the lawsuit because that manager was an asshole and needs a lesson before he continues to share his hateful rhetoric. So the sparks fly and practically have a date. Lance pays for as he wants to thank his hero with Shiro paying for dessert as he wanted to sweeten their meeting. They lament meeting before the official meetings as they will have to be professionals but will meet up after everything has been wrapped up with Keith.

The meetings end up taking longer as Shiro got into lawyer mode with Pidge and Keith being like we need these materials to be available as supplies and any other requests. They were unable to get all their demands, but most of the supplies provided by the studio would do. Two companies are pending as the studio reached out to them and are negotiating sponsorship, but seeing as one of them already sponsors Keith and Lance, they are hopeful. Shiro was also able to negotiate a higher wage/payout (idk), as Keith would be missing 1-4 competitions to appear on the show. The grand prize is not guaranteed but with his reputation of consistently being 1st place he would be losing guaranteed money. 

As such, they should try and meet that. The studio is hard presses to find an argument but concede as they were told by The Queen that Keith is one of the high priority candidates and that provided the nda is signed, they can add anything in the contract with the exclusion of being able to cheat or having 1st place guaranteed. So they negotiate the sum as Shiro is correct, but one must also consider the level of exposure. Shiro responds with exposure or exploitation? And the studio team is impressed again and concede with a 10% or something reduction of the originally proposed amount. They all agree, sign, and before they walk off exchange business cards so that they can talk about having Shiro consult is he is unavailable to join their team.

Shiro lets them know he will consider the offer and the legal team walks off. Lance is waiting for them at the lobby with Hunk to see how the talks went and is happy when he hears how Shiro arm wrestled the team for Keith's supplies and compensation. The group is together for the first time nut they all click as if they were long time friends. Also, I am debating Lotor as The Queen. I was initially gonna have him be the loser from Keith's first competition but then he is meticulous in the show so he would not be in character as a loser. I mean Keith's is not in character, but i wanted to avoid the initial rivalry and change it into a mentor ship. 

That is not say they are instant bffs but that just like in the show, Keith is a natural and Lance has worked his way to that level. He was initially envious of Keith's start, but then got to know him and talk after a few hang outs with alcohol and had their heart to heart because at that stage Lance was in a rut and seeing Keith running made him feel inadequate. Afterwards they became the brohoes we have now.

So, they all hang out while Keith is there but the group notices the sparks between Lance and Shiro so they conveniently forget something back at the hotel and leave them together. I need to cut this short but Keith slays the competition and wins the grand prize. Shiro has his own following after the juice bar incident and they have joined with Lances following to create The Blue Paladin Squad. They refer to lance and Shiro as paladins because both are advocates and do a lot for the lgbtq community. Even before lance Shiro was active so the internet is invested in them.

Voltron au with drag queens and Shance! Inspired by Rupaul’s Drag Race Part 1

Lance is a drag queen who got his start by emulating his favorite Latina ladies (like Selena and Celia Cruz) but then got out of his zone and became known for his predominantly blue themed drag and how he incorporates organic (like flowers and nature) and inorganic elements (like mecha) to the point that he won so many competitions they send him judging requests  instead of competing invitations. Enter Keith, a newly awakened queen that will take this new competition by storm. They meet early in their drag career changes. For Keith he was just getting comfortable with his drag to compete and for lance it was his first competition to judge as a surprise guest judge. As a finalist, they answered a few questions for the announcer to share as they went down the catwalk. For Keith he answered what got him into drag and he said Lady Blue (lances drag persona name for now. Idk how happy i am with it) when he saw her as Selena and she took his breath away

Selena is one of his favorite Divas being from Texas and all, but it was so beautiful and liberating to see. Until he changed career, nothing else brought him that feeling so being able to compete is validating that change that his family questioned. He is here and he is living his best life. Lance is in an incognito drag but his drag combined with answer make Keith stand out to him. Keith is starting out, but it is known he has a penchant for red and has a lot of black and purple themed drags as well. Idk his drag name, but his drag has it's own niche in that it always combines weapons and technology as his best friend is a tech genius. When they have the finalists all line up and announce the guest judge who dramatically rises from the vip part of the audience he is shook but composed. Lance is his charming self and makes a nice comment about all of them before dismissing them while the judges deliberate. The queens go back to their dressing stations in the back and gently tease Keith

Because his favorite queen is a judge while some snappy ones are like i bet that's why you said all that, you probably knew she was judging and decided to kiss her ass. This makes things tense in the back but Keith is not gonna let them say that shit and as he is getting up to answer somebody beats him to the punch. Idk who is who yet, but this queen tells the salty bitch to calm her fake tits because she is how many years in drag but has yet to create her own following let alone win in competitions. Everybody knows the only reason you got here was the big ass you kissed got you in as an applicant. Fix yourself first so somebody can look up to you like Keith does to Blue

There is silence but then they are like wait you just started doing drag last year? And keith is like yeah and they are all impressed and most take back their jealous words and start actually talking but then they judges are done deliberating and everyone is back on the stage. Keith ends up winning second and the person who defended him before he could make things ugly got first. Third is not important (for now since idk how important they might be later on) but they all get to talk with the judges and Keith is shook again because Blue is skipping towards him and they two talk about the technology as both have best friends that help, Pidge on Keith's side and Hunk for lance, and lance straight up tells him he did not know he was such an inspiration for someone who he sees will go far in drag. He is unable to be his drag mom because of so many new commitments,but he would love to be a drag aunt and keep in touch. He just recommends Keith create a social media account because lance began

Love potion number nine au

Druids have been refining a serum that allows the recipient to become more amorous and open to affection. It was designed to take over plantes silently and efficiently with little to no resources lost on their part. They are still refining it since the results are not to their liking.

Enter a new planet! Blade intel uncovered the serum along with targeted planets for testing. The rebels and Voltron seek them out and offer protection. An alliance is also a bonus but they are there to protect more than anything. Team Voltron gets an Amazonian like planet. The leader is amused at the sight of her protectors and sees the threat as nothing she can't handle.

It all seems to be fine until one of her advisors comes back from their trip with extra company. Seeing the queen with paladins in company they know their cover is blown and attack. The queen and paladins are successful with the traitor apprehended but the team is still on high alert. They take shifts to guard the queen with Allura and Lance taking first watch. Lance and Allura are trying to be more cautious but she isn't being cooperative. She is confident the attack was thwarted with no more are on their way.

Lance is not very happy and tries to explain how serious it actually is. She doesn't listen and that's when he sees it. The reflection off a sniper scope. He pushes her out the way just as a shot is fired. He activates his bayard while Allura is on guard for close ranged attackers. The queen finally sees how serious things are when Lance is shot in her stead. He was able to injure the sniper but with the chaos going on they were unable to apprehend them. Lance is swiftly taken to a pod and saftey measures are enacted.
