This is not a contest! The winner will be decided entirely randomly, image quality will have no effect on chances of winning! Make whatever you can in any medium you want! (This can also include 3D mediums! The only thing I'm not including is unedited game screenshots/captura, though edited might be okay). Everyone can draw regardless of how good you think your own skills are!

Please submit your own drawing(s)!! Only one is necessary but you can make more if you want of course! Do not use any AI generation tools for your entry.

When reblogging it might be a good idea to enter some text either in the post or in the tags! It turns out reblogs with just an image and nothing else might not show up under the original post, which means I might miss your submission!

The goal of this is for the community to have a fun little gallery of warframe thumb ups in the reblogs, but again don't stress over how "good" your drawing is! As long as you have fun and submit something vaguely in line with the prompt you're good! I am so glad more people think about this.

I felt that all warframes are sentient after Second Dream. Warframe breaks out sword, unable to do anything else for us, and yet it saves us. I was crying, everyone was crying, it all was decided. Since then I kept collecting and memorizing DE’s lore hints about their sentience. I became lore junkie for that exact purpose; to prove that they are, in fact, alive, it was weird period of time (both before, and, ironically, after Sacrifice, yes, I cried out loud after Sacrifice), when people kept violently insisting that warframes are just meat puppets and nothing more, and I was there, with a heavy bag of arguments.

(Also additional examples/hints of warframes being alive/thinking in lore canon are Titania quest, Valkyr and Mirage Prime Access trailers, Rhino’s Symaris lore tab, Grandmother’s mention of Yareli, Gara and Unum, Sacrifice being main proof without question)

I have a few tomes of background lore for my main couples (and a poem!), some sketches here and there. I will try to tell a bit more when I will be re-posting my older WF art. With operators/drifters I made approach that their “main character”-ness is split between several big events, shaping their lives that way, with Atta being one who saves Lotus, ah, and being old and tired back then, I just decided, way before Drifter, that I strongly dislike that kid approach and my operators span age of 21-29 (my age bucket) and later Drifters span 31-39. Then Eternalism came, so in my version of reality they are older and all warframes are alive and sentient, yet void-suppressed, and now it’s as much canon as anything else. That’s it.

hey im curious. if you have an OC that is a warframe, how and why are they sentient (self-aware; able to move and think independently)? we have two, maaaaybe three* examples of this in canon, but i'm curious what people have decided on their own!

*excalibur umbra, kullervo, and potentially the stalker, pending further info on his backstory
