I’m at theatre rehearsal don’t make me cry

it's 5am and i can't stop thinking about michael yew on the williamburg bridge seeing his brothers and sisters dying around him and feeling responsible. he didn't put them on that bridge. no one knew it would be the singular focus of the titan army that night. but he can't help feeling like he should have done better. he should have led them better. he should have been a better leader at camp, not participating in petty feuds that resulted in a lack of reinforcements. he should have focused more on training his cabin. he should have arranged them in a better position when they got to the bridge. he's failed them. failed his cabin. failed lee.. lee was so much better at this. he would have been able to hold more ground until percy arrived. he wouldn't have allowed so many to die. their siblings deserve that kind of leader. so when michael sees the opportunity to make things right. he takes it. one last shot. for the lives lost and those he'd be saving. it's the least he could do to go down with his cabin.
