A selection of work forming the Fusion Series. The work is an experimentation of colour, using a variety of acrylic paints and ink. The work explores the relationship of art, mental heath and wellbeing, stemming from working with building professionals, interior designers and health professionals exploring therapeutic environments.
One of the most worrying things I’ve also noticed when traveling. What is the legacy present politicians and governments are leaving for generations to come? Time to wake up and see the seeds you’re potentially planting.
Yesterday i was watching a documental about design and the chapter was about concrete, at the ending i felt so impress about the power that it has but i still think that depend on the way that you use the impact that it has, what are you thoughts about it ?
I love concrete, in my opinion, it is the most versatile, sculptural and available material.
Salk Institute Louis Kahn
Concrete has some very desirable advantages:
Ingredients are easily available in most of the world free from defects and flaws.
Can be manufactured to desired strength with economy, is durable and resistant to wind and water.
It can be cast to any desired shape in site or prefabricated, including blocks, which are easy to transport and assemble.
Maintenance is almost negligible.
Makes a building fire-safe due to its non-combustible nature. and can withstand high temperatures.

Now, concrete is not perfect. It has a low tensile strength and its a heavy material. Also, it contains salts that cause efflorescence, but the advantages tend to outweigh the disadvantages.
