Ravus sighed. He wished Lunafreya gave him more warning about his nephew spending some time with him. He wasn't very good with children. "I had been training with a sword since a very young age." he replied placing his good arm on his hip. " Alright, alright." he finally said. "If I start training you, will you be satisfied?" Maybe they could hunt small game and he would be close by.

"Come along then and keep up. You must do everything I say or you will be grounded or something." That is what parents did right? He was so far out of his element. He was a hunter, not a baby sitter. Why did his sister do this?

"Also..no complaining on my teaching methods. I'm not going to coddle you if you scrape your knee."

"But Mom said you started hunting when you were older than me." Granted it was much older as Lunafreya had told him once but the boy didn't really see why he couldn't gain some experience now. Ignis told him that starting young with things proved to be beneficial so why would this be any different?

Novus sighed as he leaned back against the couch having been brought back indoors by one of the Manor staff members before Ravus was then alerted. Was sending him here to Tenebrae some kind of joke to his mother? There was barely anything to do and the Prince really only agreed to go mostly because his Uncle was there. The first time Novus met Ravus he was an infant but if this guy was anything like his uncles Gladio, Prompto, or Ignis then it might be a good time.

Turns out he was wrong so far on that front. "I can't just stay on the couch for the next three days. There's gotta be something fun to do around here, right?"
