When i used to move every 6 months, this was one of my studios that occupied my night hours. (2013) My favorite figure model artists took the space on the upper right wall where the love of my own figure drawings were displayed. Once upon a time, I owned a collection of art books where they were held on a favorite dumpstered ladder including the art supplies stored underneath an equally old split desk. I got "lei'd" right off the plane yesterday! From fresh pressed curls, the misty rain from the tropical mountains is showing off my natural curl♡ With instant friends who are letting me nest in their home, this "bird lady" is already having a "dream-attack" with all the colorful flying chirping things & wild chickens. After 10 months living in this old hag, I cleaned her out the other day. Just as expected, I'm awake four hours earlier than my flight will be. I have been meaning to state: Moab was a great experience. Great people and intimate desert splurges. Terribly interesting people from tourists to locals. Even though I was spit out pretty badly at the end there after a ER visit in October (a big turning point to continuing to live in my subaru) and a rooming situation gone sour, the stories I gathered will not only be stuck in the depth of my paintings, but the friendships I have gathered will exist forever. It's almost impossible to tag all the people who shared beautiful Moab with me this year but by being a sneak....ill never forget all the pizzas we ordered from next door to the big 'space bus' in April while it was still too cold for outdoor sports. The overnighters we biked to off Big Bend area taking up my lack of Mountain Biking skills. Approaching cute rock climber dudes only to be fooled by their facial hair in age. The party that rocked a trailer watching shadows through the windows with squealing ladies exiting the men to have their 'whipping' fun. Last minute corner street light jamming, two strangers who shared wine with me under a secluded waterfall, surrounding beach. Taking 'extra breaks' to lock shop during the middle of the day sneaking three shops down, 'Doodalee Do-ing' at a guitar, cops showing up after a the red rock walls 'spoke', echo-ing a collection of instruments. Hiking Tombstone. For now, there are way too many stories to list..... 'CHEERS' to a place that doesn't feel like Utah!! Half way through I decided I didn't like the color...and....the shadows are too dark. The sprinkles don't match the tone I wanted. Trace it over and do it again?
