This is Sylvester. For those of you who aren’t familiar with his story, he came to us in 2015 when he was about 7 years old. In 2016 he suddenly got very sick and was diagnosed with kidney disease. He managed to recover and was doing good up until October 2018. His kidney values have nearly tripped and he now needs more treatment and medications. I am currently paying about $100 a week for fluid therapy which helps flush him out and another $200 on his special food and medications. I really hate asking for money but I am currently unemployed and drowning in debt. I’ve been applying for jobs for the past months but have had no luck. If any of you could donate or even share this post it would really help us out. I love him very much and I am still not ready to lose him. Every donation helps us buy some extra time with him. thank you <3

Purple Buddha Project upcycles remains of weapons of conflict in Cambodia into jewelry supporting the livelihood of local Cambodian fair trade artisan cooperatives. Transforming an object symbolizing negativity into positivity.

“Because we have such a deeply grooved conditioning to reject and condemn ourselves, particularly in this culture, I find that emphasis on the word “acceptance” is central in healing. It brings our attention to the possibility of saying yes to what we are experiencing in the moment, and counteracts the conditioning to push away what feels unpleasant or intense or unfamiliar.”
