(except for a big portrait but i couldn't add that bc library computers were bugging out today -_-)

I've been wanting to make more sprites from scratch recently (rather than just edits of characters), so I thought I might try making a Karin Kanzuki.

To prepare for this, I... made another sprite edit instead 🤦

This is based on an unused sprite of Karin found in the files of Marvel Superheroes Vs. Street Fighter (I think? All the early MvCs blend together in my head), and while it is just a Sakura headswap, at least now I know how I'll draw specific parts of Karin when I get around to making the proper sprite.

Not sure why, but for the last couple of days I've been struggling to get invested in my Zangief character... Normally I enjoy making characters but it's just not clicking right now.

Not sure if I should power through and complete him (which will probably take a while) or move onto another project I'm more excited about... That would also include ignoring the results of the poll I put up last week, though -_-

My current character (Zangief, if you didn't see the preview in the Shermie vid), is going well! I've finished adding all of the needed sprites for him now.

That being said, he's yet to have any optional stuff yet (i.e. midnight bliss, electrocuted, etc.), which brings the question...

What should Zangief's Midnight Bliss(es) be?

Generally, I give my characters two: a normal one and a CFE one without the draining animation (although Shun had three), but I have next to no ideas for what Gief could have... If anyone has any suggestions, they are very welcome :—)

(and yes I did try to put him in Marisa's outfit, but her default is kinda gender-neutral and her wedding dress was too difficult to put into the smaller style)
