Autism in university
So i'm just halfway in 1st semester in university and it's quite though. I'm studing health and nutrition, which is quite interesting. So reflecting on a few things which have happen in over the first two months.
I have already blurted out i'm autistic and i felt like i scared people away. A handfull from my class already know. Looking back i wish i just kept my mouth shut.
Masking is really exhausting and when i come home i just lay in bed for hours. I barely have the energy to study.
The social font is whack! utter whack. I can't connect with my classmates at all. I have participated in a good handful of social events, because i do want to get to know them. It's hard because they have different interests than me. Very different interests. It's totally okay they have different interests than me. However it makes it hard for me to connect with them.
My diagnosis that up a lot of space in my mind. I have become more aware of my diagnosis when i'm with non-autistic people.
Don't get me wrong my classmates are nice people.. it's just me who doesn't know how to socialise.

Fable comic Currency? Why everyone so broke? I Don’t Understand...
One thing that always confused me when I began reading Fables comic was money. In both Wolf Among Us and the Fables comic money is a issue for many of the Fables. It usual brought up when dealing with things like Glamours and Housing.
And one would think Fable citizens would be taxed but aren’t. By the comic is just sounds like they just don’t have the people to work the job of accounting and enforcing payment, but Fables being too poor is also a fact on the lack of taxing.
Which leads to the main question. What are fables being paid. Is there a trade system or what.
We know that the Fables came to our world long before America was established. I believe it was like the 1600s. So back then we can assume they used their own currency that Fables managed to bring from the homeland. And probably continued once America was just a baby nation. But once America because full establish and the Fable town in New York officially became apart of America one would assume they would adapt.
By adapt I mean start using the American dollar. It was a currency that was useful in the Mundy world and could help with the lack of funds in the Fables community. And we see plenty of stores owned by fables full of customers. Are all the customers Fables and if so why aren’t more fables middle class or how are they paying for the consumer goods if everyone is broke. Why are they struggling. It because of lack of funds and the inability to spread those funds evenly.
I feel like both King Cole and Snow would of founded a new system to help all fables. I mean i understand that Mundys can’t find out that Fables exist but plenty of Fables (human/Glamoured) are walking around New York and none of them got a Mundy job at a coffee place. Or even illegal got one to buy Mundy goods. Heck we see that fables have telephones, cars, refrigerator, etc. So they must have Mundy money to buy those things right? yet its never mentioned or acknowledge where it all comes from. (that I seen)
Or are those things Fable made? If so why? Wouldn’t that be a waste of witches’ time, when you can’t even Glamour all your citizens.
And one could argue they didn’t get Mundy jobs because “Fables don’t age” thing but at the same time why risk being seen then. Because couldn’t someone snap a photo of them and then find out they didn’t age by looking over old family photos.
I feel like it kinda irresponsible of Snow and King Cole to not fix the money problem the Fable community. When there is an easy solution (American Currency) one that possibly dangerous but better then what set up. And in Wolf Among Us that cash that seen looks like regulars American dollars. Very strange and confusing that’s all. This Rant leads nowhere…maybe will contuine another time. (probably not)
Just a random rant from someone with too much time and little sleep leave comment if you have any thoughts on this.

Snow White: Bigby, I need your help!
Bigby: What is it, Snow?
Snow: I know this sounds weird, but you have to let me ride you.
Bigby: ....
Bigby: I don't...I didn't expect for this to actually happen. Y--
Snow : To the farm, there's a rebellion forming. Luckily, if they see you coming, they'll no doubt surrender.
Bigby: Oh, you mean you need me to to turn into my wolf form and get you to the farm?
Snow: What did you think I meant?
Bigby: N-Nothing!

Possibly an unpopular opinion? Tobey and Andrew's depiction of Spiderman, I felt, was brought down by the fact that these miserable heroes were constantly pining after the girl. While I'm not adverse to the idea of Tom Holland's Peter and MJ being together, I really do hope that they won't go down the same path and turn a superhero movie into a big sappy romance.
strongly agree | agree | neutral | disagree | strongly disagree
Idk if it’s unpopular for MCU fandom but for me, I actually really liked Tobey and Andrew’s interpretations - in part because of that exact thing.
The thing about Peter Parker and Spider-Man for me that was lost in HOCO was such a heavy emphasis on the Spider-Man aspect rather than Peter. His life and romances don’t take away from his superhero life, it’s the opposite! He’s just trying to go on a date with Gwen but oh no! Rhino comes in and makes a mess of things. He wants to take Mary Jane out for their anniversary but oh no! He gets stuck saving civilians because some idiot in a scorpion costume decides to mess him up.
To me, the story of Peter Parker is a big sappy romance - with his romantic loves yes but also with New York City, with May, with his job(s). Spider-Man is a nuisance and a menace but also his greatest responsibility - something that he had to wrestle with over and over again.
Send me unpopular opinions

I love that phenomenon where ur talking to another neurodivergent person for the first time and u haven’t quite grocked their flavor of brain yet and they haven’t grocked yours and you’re both using your Acceptable Friendly Person Getting To Know You Script on each other but of course those scripts have been calibrated mainly for use with, like, normal people, so you just end up being like two conversational roombas bonking gently off one another like “hello fellow human” “hello fellow ‘hello fellow human’” until you both at some point manage to adjust your programming and actually like, communicate
It’s like when I was a kid I had two furbies and when you put them next to each other they’d just natter nonsensically past one another for a bit and then at some point one would abruptly recognize the other with its furby sensor or w/e and it would shout “DANCE!” and the other one would flap its ears and reply “HEY, DANCE” and then, in perfect unison, they would begin to rock back and forth while chanting “doot doot doo doot doot doo”
It’s exactly like that. I love it. Crazy people are the best, we are super excellent, i love us, i love crazy ppl
