Sixth Tumblr Post!
Wow, five days since I made my last post, I don't usually work that fast. Although I do suppose that was more of a coincidence than anything seeing as I've actually been working on this singular 8-panel-strip since April or so. This comic strip revolves around two original characters of mine: Sriracha Man and Milkman, and was originally intended as a joke, one that showcases the contrast between when they fight and when they just decide to hang out, but I don't think it panned out very well as a joke (I still think it's a nice little moment between the two of them anyway.)
Sriracha Man was basically created on a series of what I call "You-Know-What-Would-Be-Funny?-isms," that just kind of snowballed into the creation of an actual character. In the real world, I've made and scrapped multiple iterations of him, the two most notable ones being a wisecracking, energetic teenage hero and a grimdark, perpetually angry man in his 40s. I note those two in particular since what I have now primarily consists of a compromise between those two, both in attitude and age. I enjoy drawing and writing him because it forces me to work on my posing and facial expressions to communicate what he's feeling since I made him mute because I felt that I wasn't very good at writing dialogue.
I suppose that that should bring me to Milkman, who was created solely to give Sriracha a nemesis, but developed on a series of "You-Know-What-Would-Be-Cool?-isms." They originally started out as an average egotistical, insane guy who dressed and was built pretty similarly to Sriracha. But as time went on, I realized I didn't really like that direction, and decided to make Them more of a showman. This was all until a year ago when I decided to give Milk a total redesign that emphasized their legs, abs, and... butt--in addition to a thong in place of the standard undergarments, "nipple thingies," and a standardized cow print suit. Then soon after, I got the idea to make a sort of temptress character that I ended up implementing into Milk after realizing I don't really like drawing women in sexually explicit positions, and with that, they've become ambiguously gendered (and the beard became fake.) I enjoy writing Milk a lot, since a lot of what makes them up is based in things that I myself was feeling at the time, and their "off-beat" dialogue also gives me many chances to experiment with my style.
This comic was, as mentioned, a failed joke that still ended up working out as a little moment between Sriracha and Milk. I've decided to go for a more rough-sketch-like vibe here, in place of the cleaner line art of my last go around with these two. The mixed media approach that I took when it comes to the characters being drawn in Photoshop and backgrounds being actual photos of my sketchbook is a result of my laziness, since I didn't want to draw backgrounds (The experimentation with my style is just a happy little coincidence.)
Overall, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out and am glad to show my creations to the combined four people that'll see this across my socials.
I hope you enjoy it, and any and all constructive criticism is welcome!

Fifth Tumblr Post!
If this were a film or television show, I suppose this is what you'd call filler content. These sketches of three unrelated things (not really characters since one of them is real,) didn't come from anything in particular besides the fact that I thought that they would look really goofy next to each other. Although at a certain point of my original sketching process, I realized I could try to focus on a specific aspect of each sketch that I'm not particularly great at--and try to use what I had at the time to improve.
1st Sketch | "Weird Al" Yankovic; pose from the lyric sheet included with CD copies of the album "Off The Deep End" - I've recently bought 11 of his albums from an eBay listing and have been listening to them on a pretty frequent basis, and thus, decided it might be fun to draw the man himself. I had looked through each lyric sheet included in about half the albums when I originally got them in the mail, and thought that this one was the funniest. The actual process of drawing this wasn't too long as I've gotten more acquainted with anatomically-correct human bodies in recent times, although this was the first time I've drawn body hair and nipples, so I suppose that was both a pleasant surprise and challenge. But what I'm most proud of is the arms, since I managed to draw a pair in a manner where they look like arms instead of weirdly bent straws. It's a tweaked version of the technique I use to draw legs that I first used on a drawing of an OC (that I have yet to finish,) improved by the better look at a bent human arm that this image provided me. I'd also say the manic expression that I've managed to give him, as well as the transition into my style that I've managed to make is something that I'm somewhat proud of (especially when you take the last time I drew a real-adjacent person into account.) Overall, I'm pretty happy with my final result and do expect to return to the wacky world of "Weird Al" Yankovic soon, especially since I've been able to nab tickets to his latest tour!
2nd Sketch | Morrigan Aensland (Darkstalkers;) pose from "Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3" - I first out out what exactly a "Darkstalkers" was through "Marvel" and played through the games through a couple of ROMS on my old PSP. While not my favorite character in the franchise, I decided to draw Morrigan since I just so happen to find her design fascinating. Also, the thought of her standing next to a nude Weird Al was really funny in the sleep deprived state I was in at the time. It was by this point where I realized that I could use each of these sketches to improve an a variety of my lackluster skills, deciding here that I would try to improve my--uh--"boob work." I absolutely hated they process of drawing the breasts, mostly because I can't really stand breasts in the first place, but despite this, I managed to squirt some that didn't look like a pair of cancerous warts out in good time. I also had to work on my application of pressure while coloring her due to her paler skin tone needing that I work a lot more gently on areas where more light would hit, and wider color pallet which required slightly more in-depth shading to not look as out of place. Since I gave my version some pretty broad shoulders and a comparatively tall head, my Morrigan is pretty off model, but nonetheless, it's still my favorite out of this batch of sketches, even if it is only because of the improvements I've made when it comes to coloring and drawing the human body.
3rd Sketch | Henry "Indiana" Jones III (Indiana Jones;) pose taken from a 1982 reissue poster for the film "Raiders of the Lost Ark" - Indiana Jones is one of my favorite film series of all time, with the first in the series sitting as my favorite film, period. I've actually drawn Indy twice before, both at radically different times in my art-style's evolution and with complete failure to look anything like Harrison Ford. It was memory of that which gave the goal of getting this new thing to look like Mr. Ford, which I paired with trying to figure out how to get a good angle on a human appendage. This took me by far the least amount of time to draw since I had slept well the night before and decided to "lock-in" because I guess I just really wanted to make my younger self look like an idiot by showing myself how much I've improved. I just so happened to be wearing an Indiana Jones shirt at the time, so I promptly took that off to get a better look at Indy's features and figured out what exactly was needed to get something that looked accurate--and ended up with subpar results (I think he looks more like the LEGO Indiana Jones than anything.) By contrast, I don't think the angle on the upper arm is too bad, probably since I tried to map out the oval base of it beforehand. I also had to work on my pressure application here since I used a gold pencil to color in his shirt and couldn't press down to hard without ruining the whole thing, and Indy's skin tone is much darker than the previous two things here. Speaking in a broader sense, I suppose that I'm happy with how this turned out, despite not really having any reason in particular for it (I don't know, maybe it's just 'cause I like this stupid lovechild between an actual archeologist and a grave robber.)
I suppose that this marks the end of my little filler journey across three unrelated things I like, I learned some junk and got to "geek-out" about nerd things I like. I'll probably be back soon with a post about some OCs I've been working or possibly a comic or two or maybe both, I've got a bunch of free time now that my finals are done with.
I hope you enjoy it, and any and all constructive criticism is welcome!

Fourth Tumblr Post!
This is my first "non-repost piece" on this website. I have made a lot more stuff after the last thing I've posted, but it's all stuff that I'd want to redo digitally but can't since my laptop has broken down, or just haven't gotten around to posting here yet.
I've decided to draw Mr. Phoenix Wright for a second time since he's very expressive, plus an assortment of unique outfits. Here, I've decided to redraw an assortment of sprites that I really like, as well as draw him with his dress shirt alone, and make head sketches of his iterations from Apollo Justice and beyond. Since my laptop is in some repair shop or factory, I got my reference images from a lets play by TurianShepard (which I've been following since it began.) I know that not everything I've drawn is exactly game accurate, but I'm somewhat proud of the final product and seriously hope to keep improving!
I hope you enjoy it, and any and all constructive criticism is welcome!

Third Tumblr Post!
I'm going to try and keep this art post train running for as long as I can, although I can't promise too many more quality pictures since some of my equipment broke recently. I've still got that sudden urge to just draw and sketch stuff, so I thought it might be cool to draw Chun-Li since I've been playing quite a bit of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 recently, and she's one of my most played characters. It was pretty easy to grab reference images since I could just screenshots from MvC and SF4 since I had both of them downloaded at the time. And while I'm not exactly proud of my fairly stiff recreation of a pose, I'm still proud of it since especially because it's my first time drawing more dynamic poses with a character that still retain more human-like proportions.
I hope you enjoy it, and any and all constructive criticism is welcome!

🚨My name is Ahmed Alnabih. I am 33 years old, married, and part of a large family with three brothers and four sisters. We once lived in Gaza, where I grew up and built my life. But today, my family and I are living in a tent, in unimaginable conditions—surrounded by mud, soaked from the rain, and overwhelmed by uncertainty.😌
The Israeli army ordered us to evacuate our home in Gaza. With heavy hearts, we fled south, taking only what little we could carry. Not long after, we received the devastating news that our house—our home—was completely destroyed. Everything I had worked for, everything that held the memories of my family, was reduced to rubble.☹️
Now, we live in a tent, struggling to stay dry, to stay warm. The rain beats down on us as the ground turns to mud beneath our feet. The cold seeps into our bones at night, and hope feels more distant with each passing day.😭
I never thought I would find myself in this situation, forced to rely on the kindness of strangers to survive. But here I am, asking for help, not just for myself but for my family, who have lost everything. I want to rebuild a safe home for my wife, my brothers, and my sisters. I want to give them a future, something to hold onto when everything else has been taken away.
Please, if you can, donate. Every little bit brings us closer to rebuilding what we have lost and giving my family a sense of safety and dignity once more.🥹
Please don't make me lose hope🙏🫂

Second Tumblr Post!
Hello, I'm new to this website and wanted just want to share around some art I've made, and thought it might be good to start with a piece of fanart in hopes of drawing some people in.
Back in December. I had gotten a decently big surge of energy to start drawing again and make improvements in my drawing methods, starting with the way I drew humans. So I decided to draw something simple, In this case Phoenix Wright from the Ace Attorney series, using his appearance in Ultimate Marvel VS. Capcom 3 as my main reference. I obviously haven't drawn a one for one recreation of his model, but I think that I've done a good job in terms of adding my own style to it.
I hope you enjoy it, and any and all constructive criticism is welcome!

First Tumblr Post!
Hello, I'm new to this website and wanted just want to share around some art I've made, and just use the blogging feature to just talk about things I find neat.
A couple months back, I planned to draw two characters of mine for an attempt at digital art, but was only able to sketch the character on the left. Well that changed during this President's Day weekend as I was finally able to sketch the character on the right and remake it in Adobe Illustrate! Needless to say, it was a pretty tedious experience made worse by lack of knowledge of Illustrate.
I didn't really take anything besides the line art super seriously as this is just to refine my digital art skills after not making a piece (at least not for school) in nearly 2 years.
This is actually the first time that I've drawn these characters (who I call Sriracha Man and Milkman) in color in quite a while. Both Sriracha Man's prominent use of green and darker skin tone were originally different as the green was an orange-like yellow, and he and Milkman shared the same skin color. Milkman has stayed mostly the same since the last time I've colorized him.
These are mostly changes that Sriracha Man has gone through since I'm pretty happy with the state that Milkman is in (not to say that he hasn't gone through plenty of changes.) I'd love to share all the changes that these two have gone through (seeing as this was mostly just color pallet stuff,) but there are too many to list here so I'll save those for later.
I hope you enjoy it, and any and all constructive criticism is welcome!
*Note: I'm sorry that Milkman's right boot is lacking any line art, but Illustrate just wasn't on my side while exporting this*

Here's some pictures of my original sketches that I used as reference for the final piece.
