How did you fall into this line of work?

Silver: ...I ain’t too sure I really know the answer to that question myself - I always wanted to be a sailor, o’ course, for as long as I can remember, and I worked my way aboard a ship for the first time when I was about twelve. but I guess I can’t really say what made me go from sailor to pirate - the line between has always been blurred, and it just sorta happened, if ye see what I mean. but I guess hearin’ the story o’ Flint really sealed things for me.
