Writer's block hit me like a truck. I feel like I haven't written anything of substance in ages, and thus I finally started a new chapter of To Know Peace.

I think I just need a break from a certain post-apocalyptic setting (SAINW), so The Last Ronin shall be my poison of choice for the time being. Don't worry, I promise we have plenty of Road Trip AU on the back burner in the meantime.

Leo moves with the motion of his hands, allowing first a soft kiss on his forehead, another between his eyes, and finally a lingering kiss on his lips. They break apart, and Usagi meets Leo’s gaze and wishes, as he has begged the universe every night, that he could take away the pain within them. “Then, let us sleep.”

Hey, everyone! With it being almost two weeks since chapter 1 went up, I thought I'd make a little update post. I personally haven't gotten much done these past few weeks with it being finals season, but I just submitted my last one today, so it's time to get back to work!

First of all, thank you so much for all your kind words and kudos! Genuinely, we all immediately freak out whenever we get an email saying someone commented. We love hearing from you!

Excluding the prologue and first chapter, we've got 7 chapters edited and ready to post— that's around 48.5k words, by the way. Yeah. We got a bit carried away. But hey, more content for you guys!

"But, Deadpool! You said at the end of chapter 1 to expect something fun in a couple of weeks! Please don't tell me this update post is what you were talking about!"

Fear not, concerned reader, this is not the surprise I was talking about. Keep a lookout for a post from one of my companions tomorrow (wink wink nudge nudge).

I don't want to take from their glory, so I'll leave it at that for now. If you made it this far through this very boring update, here's a little treat: the current projected post date for chapter 2 is May 24. I know, I know, I'm the best.
