i rly rly like we got to learn more of the alchemists and the past as the petrifaction disease was in full swing and the build up to arlecchino was done extremely well (thinking he was laxasia types of difficulty because wow) his boss fight was fun and worth it kind of crazy tho that hes known as the king of riddles in the base game like how did we get from The Serial Killer puppet to this guy who antagonizes u over the phone for riddles what a downgrade but it makes me think how he couldve come back after all that shit lea kicked back into him but with his design and the awakening of his ergo made me rly think different about puppets and their gain of conscience made me think that they gain innocence and personality when they awake but arlecchinos case was completely different he was such a neat character what more can i say about that

its crazy i had ideas?? that p already had combat experience and how sophia urged him??? if u havent played the dlc (or maybe its in other letters or hints that carlo and romeo were already apprentice stalkers but didnt delve much into it maybe thats a me thing) its so sad

geppeto mourning the loss of his wife and stuck carlo at the rose estate and boarding school to essentially be raised by antonia + sophia introducing him to romeo and it was said he resented his father essentially and like??? i literally dont blame him if my father neglected me while i was also mourning the death of my mother and how antonia said that maybe he wouldnt hate his father if he came back but idk not me tho that bitch wouldnt earn my forgiveness carlo is better than me but maybe thats why sophia introduced him to another kid his age i know it was a gradual crush kind of thing because imagine growing up with him and graduating from the high school equivalent romeo probably had such a hard personality and a bit of a trouble maker i imagine how that is both him and carlo are stubborn if the constant nagging from carlo meant anything

anyways crazy how lea and sophia are sisters adopted yes but like ........ it completely makes sense how sophia found him

leas little note for carlo after his passing was rly cute ......... before she also got caught with the disease i feel like she had to take in romeo at that point to continue training him because of carlos death ...... and not to mention her not saying how she wished her carlo and romeo could sit when the sun raises and smile with each other one last time and thats exactly what the ending was except carlo disappearing and romeo barely alive in her arms but she did get to experience the suns warmth one last time that got me ......... u got me fucked up

they rly dont give an indication on how carlos personality was but i know it was stubborn because of his demand to make lea his teacher (and it was successful if her comments of 'u mustve had a good teacher' and 'ur moves seem familiar' mean anything) and i was thinking something along the lines of someone who was defiant but eventually stuck it through to defy his father and doing things to make geppeto proud (meant nothing tho because he didnt even go to his graduation........... u WILL be dealt with) meanwhile i think romeo was more headstrong and was just the kid everyone liked and immediately took a liking to carlo id like to think they were besties since the first moment rather than tension growing because carlo didnt have anyone and romeo was his first friend ......... his first love ....... anyways carlo and romeo are in my hands and i get to mold them how i want them to be (also carlo having daddy issues me too bud)

the ending of the dlc got me added with the ending thats my canon ending that p refused to give his heart to geppeto and his father basically disowning him because he refused like p wasnt the cute son geppeto remembered him to be like ........ u RLY think u have an opinion here when u dropped him off at the boarding school and didnt even come to visit him too absorbed in ur work dealing with ur grief ......... lets talk about THAT (antonia was so patient with him love u queen couldnt be me tho i would be tearing his ass a new one)

and lets talk about when u get to the secret room at the hotel.............. which is the picture of romeo carlo and lea playing a concert like ur so fucked up for that id like to think that maybe carlo wanted to be a famous pianist so that his father could rly acknowledge him but when he didnt show up at his graduation he rly wanted leas tutorship and help those for krat like being surrounded by a constant sense of community while at the school mustve rly inspired him + making his own patch that didnt have his father in mind and not to mention geppeto knew that........ took advantage of it and so did sophia when she awoken him from the puppet frenzy + petrification disease break out

i have other thoughts but man ...... such a good dlc wouldve been the perfect dlc it didnt make me play on baby mode because the disgusting mobs they placed (it was nerfed after i got through all that which pmo!!! but we ball im just glad i could finally enjoy it) the gunblade rly got me through arlecchino shout out to that weapon!!!

some carlo / p headcanons that i think is endearing

wanted to become a pianist and fell in love with the art rather than the puppet business his father went into

only signs as a puppet but the more humanity he gains, he starts to actually speak. at first in small sentences but gains the ability to speak full sentences

when hes starts to regain his individuality, his wonderment is to that of a child. for example petting a cat and him smiling where he wouldnt smile otherwise or admiring the stars in the sky

overall puppet stage is getting a new look at the world but doesnt connect with the average puppets u see in krat, much like a child learning new things. more humanity = more personality he wont ever regain the memories he has as carlo but he would retain of what he was with romeo and lea. hes got the heart of carlo after all and its like starting over with a new life

gets mistaken as a stalker a lot even tho he doesnt associate with them its safer to pretend to be one

enjoys classical music a lot

romeo was his first love and best friend

it makes me think that geppeto was so focused on other things antonia was taking care of him along with other things. it makes me think he was experiencing grief with his wifes (assuming camille is his wife or beloved) death so was neglecting his only son and it rly brought carlo being killed by the petrification disease to make his father snap into reality and play frakenstein with his sons body. and the fact that carlo hated his father for ignoring him but wanting him around because ofc u would around this time. how selfish do u even have to be
