I decided to go back to Cycles for once because Eevee didn’t seem to work as good as I wanted with this scene and I was starting to miss the realism generated by raytracing. It’s way more demanding and slower to render, but I wouldn’t have gotten a similar result in real-time.

The model is completely custom, reproduced over Genesis 8 and morphed in ZBrush. The hair was generated via curves and particle system.

I am planning to work on Dante and Vergil as well, DMC 5 version and I already finished a DMC 3 variation. Can’t say about V yet because his marks are really complicated to remake over a different body, but we’ll see in the future.
