After witnessing a training gone bad against a child of Ares, the redhead felt a bit bad for the other guy. Faking a stomach ache to the instructor, Amara went off to the direction the other guy went to find him at the cabin of Poseidon. As she stood in the doorway, Amara froze right as she bout knocked on the door frame. “Uh, hi?” she smiles a little. “I wanted to come check and see if you were okay,” Amara began to get nervous even more than she has been lately. “I-I know you don’t know me--I’m a newbie here.”

Phoenix had been stupid to think that provoking a son of Ares in training was a good idea. He was normally so kind to other people, but he’d felt partially bitter when the other had been wiping the ground with them as the sparred. He definitely shouldn’t have tripped the guy, or grumbled curses under his breath in Ancient Greek. So was he surprised when the boy had rained down on him with such brute force he blacked out? And of course, as a punishment for his stupidity and behavior, the leading trainer had escorted him to the infirmary and told them to let his face bruised and to fix his now broken nose just like any mortal would. They’d given him some painkillers and sent him on his way, despite the concerned looks on many of the healer’s faces. So he walked back to the Poseidon cabin, head still pounding and his nose bleeding heavily as he held a towel to his nose. Not bothering to close the door he piled ice cubes into another fresh towel and raised it to his face, and turned around on instinct when he felt the hairs on the back of his neck raise.

A day after arriving at camp and it was already kicking her ass. Pulling back her bow arm, Amara focused on her target to only miss it again when she fired. “I am definitely no Legolas.” the redhead mutters as she picks up another arrow though before she could shoot it, Amara freezes when a man came up holding her arrow. “I-..I’m sorry.” the redhead quickly apologizes to him. Amara hated it so far at camp, she didn’t feel comfortable at all in her own skin or anything.

“I don’t know whose arrow this is, but it came through my window.” Diego says as he walks in the archery field, where the archers are supposed to practice even if they don’t always do so. “I don’t want to ask why it was shot in there, I just don’t want this thing lying around.”

Even though she hasn’t showed her powers yet, Amara was diagnosed by her mother (who happen to be a doctor) with schizophrenia. Amara claimed to hear voices, whispers (of the dead), but she claimed they were demons. She always heard them especially when around cemeteries, or anything that involved in an accident where a life was taken. So due to this, her mother gave her medicine and it dulled out the voices to where Amara cannot hear them. Also, they gave her extremely bad headaches at times as well. Amara was enrolled in college for her artistic skills and is twenty years old. She is also a New Orleans native.

Each time Sabrina walks through the camp arches it’s like it was for the first time all over again, regardless if it’s just returning. Her heart leaps at the thought of the world expanding. Growing. It never does grow old, for she’s constantly reminded of the beauty this world holds. In the rustling trees and mythical beings. In the campers so common turned gods. “Do you always look this- lost?” Her voice was soft as she approached the red head who stood. There was always that look that came with the new children. The look of fascination, awe- terror.

The redhead was pulled out of her thoughts and looks to the girl to her left. “I only look this lost when I don’t know what is going on.” her voice somewhat fragile. Can you blame Amara? Up until how ever long ago it was when her mother drugged her, she didn’t believe in this world at all. Crossing her arms, Amara stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do.

Michael had been about to walk into the infirmary, having just exhausted himself a bit too much with today’s training to the point he had nearly passed out and a nearby Apollo camper had told him (well forced him really) to get some ambrosia. Just before he got to the entrance he notices the girl step outside, with a confused look on her face, taking in her surroundings. ‘Oh she is definitely new,’ Michael thinks to himself, recognising the same expression from when he got here but weeks ago. Walking up to her, he tries to gain her attention. “Hello there,” he begins, giving a short wave, “you should probably take this slow, things are going to get a bit overwhelming”.

Amara became completely cut off guard and jumps a little; startled by someone. She looks to see a olive colored guy around her age. “Uh, hi?” she looks over in the direction of hearing swords banging against one another. “Where the hell am I?” Amara quickly looks back at the man. “Am I on a acid trip?” her voice low with that question.

Walking outside the infirmary, Amara looked around at her surrounding and became completely dumbfounded with the sight before her. She never did believe in magic or anything, but seeing the people around here expressing it. It made her quickly change her opinion on the matter. “Amara,” her voice soft as she spoke to herself. “I-I don’t think you are in Louisiana anymore.” So many questions were racing through her mind, Amara didn’t even know where to begin.
