SVSSS post-mausoleum era is so fucking funny. Binghe is like “Shizun is choosing Cang Qiong over me!” and the other cultivators are like “he’s literally protecting you rn he’s a demon sympathizer” and Cang Qiong is like “we don’t really care about his pet demon disciple (that much) he’s back from the dead and we’re not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth here so back tf off” and Shen Yuan’s internal dialogue is like “actually im doing all of this for nefarious selfish reasons” (lying to himself(also having a sexuality crisis)). And then he narrowly escapes death via System which to outside observers looks like he just. Passed out for absolutely no reason

Had a dtbpf reverse au where Li Yu is the sweet, airheaded Prince, favored by the emperor and Mu Tianchi is transmigrated as a fish in his courtyard pond.

Li Yu is the deaf son of a concubine and not in line for the throne. In the original novel, he’s a side character who dies tragically trying to protect one of his royal brothers in an assassination attempt.

Mu Tianchi’s task is to become Li Yu’s beloved pet and prevent his death.

Li Yu was a character Mu Tianchi hadn’t thought much about. He wasn’t involved in the palace intrigue and struggle for the throne. Just a character who dies to further motivate his brother- the main character- in his battle for the title of Cown Prince.

But Mu Tianchi was determined to change Li Yu’s fate, even as a simple carp.

The first thing he needed to do was catch Li Yu’s attention.

⚡️ ZAP!!! ⚡️

Today's my birthday, which means I get to be self-indulgent and post art of my favorite fictional little man! \o/ And I do mean self-indulgent - this one was such a delight to make every step of the way. I'm always excited when I get commissioned to make papercraft art of Jiang Cheng, and even more excited when I get to craft him some beautiful robes, show off his Zidian skills, and spatter him with a little blood! I was especially happy with the paper for Zidian - it's holographic irl, and reflects all sorts of vibrant blues and coppery pinks when tilted. It really looks like lightning flashing as JC strikes!

wanted to see if leaving edging where theres a lot of negative space would keep the pressure more even so the lino edges would indent into the paper less messy but i dont like how u can just see the squares now so probably gunna cut em out like i usually do
