I’m putting my blogs on permanent hiatus. I’ve thought about it for a bit, and I believe it’s the right move. I’ll still write Tomura and plenty of other muses of mine, just not here. You can find me on ao3 if you like or message me for my d.iscord. I’m also still open to writing with friends if there’s interest, so feel free to poke me.
It was fun being here while it lasted. Thanks guys!

ooc.
I’ve been having this feeling for a while now that I’ve overstayed my welcome in this fandom, maybe tumblr in general. I know this is fully on me, and I’m grateful to anyone who’s still wanting to write and plot with me. But at the same time, I feel like I should have left a long time ago. This blog doesn’t feel like home anymore. Idk if it’ll pass or what I’ll do, but regardless I’m sorry for making people wait and/or pushing them away (intentionally or not). I’ll need to figure out where to go from here. My muse for Tomura is still going strong, so I might just fully dedicate my writing to fanfiction again. Those are my roots, so there might be some value in revisiting them.

Their plan had fallen apart before it even began. Tomura had known this as soon as he’d awoken to his body being incomplete and heroes swarming all around him. Aside from shit luck, the reason for their failure could be narrowed down to one of two things. One, a member of their group had fucked up. And two, they’d been infiltrated. While the cause didn’t change the results, it changes how they will need to proceed from here. Perhaps they are fortunate that they at least know the cause and prevented it from wrecking further havoc uncontested.
What Tomura didn’t account for was the effect Hawks’ betrayal would have on the former League members, Twice in particular. Tomura certainly didn’t wish for him to get anywhere near Hawks; not because Twice wasn’t trustworthy or incapable of following orders but because Tomura (and he’d assumed Dabi as well) did not wish to put him in a situation that would end with his feelings being hurt. They’d suspected the number two to be a traitor. They’d only allowed him in so they could exploit him in return, assuming themselves to be one step ahead of the game. Twice, being the trusting, emotional fool that he is, was not suited to be the extractor. He is simply too kind for such a task.
The consequence of this is now clinging to his pant leg, ugly sobs ringing through the air and tears staining his masked face. But what Tomura spots simmering beneath Twice’s skin, what he soon hears bursting forth, makes him believe Twice will grow from this. His anger means he won’t succumb to his grief again. This won’t be a repeat of Magne.
“Twice,” says Tomura. “You’re right. They won’t ever understand us. They are incapable of understanding.” He levels his subordinate, friend, with a stern gaze that speaks of what he’s seen on the battlefield. “They plug their fingers into their ears so they won’t hear our cries. But we’ll still force them to listen.” At this point, their goal isn’t to inspire sympathy. They are long past such foolish attempts of reform.
Tomura crouches down next to Twice and places his hands on his shoulders. Five fingers on each side squeeze firmly, decay safely tucked away and unable to do harm. He grins. “We’ll make them listen to their own screams, so that it’ll be the last thing they’ll ever hear.”

Hawks had been a traitor. His friend. The man they’d accepted into the fold. Dabi had been against Boss Shigaraki meeting with Keigo, so Jin had taken it upon himself to get to know the winged professional better, decided to trust him due to his past. A child soldier, trapped in a gilded cage that offered him no freedom or autonomy to fly. And what had he received as thanks? Nearly dying at the very hands of his new comrade.
“Not again-” the blonde breathed, gripping at the sides of his temples hard enough to hurt, hard enough to leave bruises from the pressure.
“I had to… I had to trust him, because I felt bad for him… The way everyone kept their distance from the guy, looked at him like he was one step away from turnin’ tail and running. It sucks when nobody trusts you, how sad is that when nobody will believe in you? It hurts!”
He grit his teeth and shut his eyes, strained the muscles in his face until he saw all sorts of bursts of dark colors beneath his eyelids- Anything to erase the image of Keigo’s cold, emotionless glare focused on him, so alien and unnatural compared to the easygoing and jovial warmth he thought he knew.
Jin can already feel the tears, he’d always been the crybaby of the group- Emotions far to strong and wild to ever keep in check. But at least his tears were genuine. This was pain- REAL pain squeezing and twisting at his heart, making weight like a massive stone bear down against the pit of his stomach.
“He… lied to me. All the stuff we talked about- The stuff we had in common, was any of it real? That sob story about being used by the Hero Commission… was that his clever little alibi, wantin’ to ‘fly free’ without bein’ trapped under their thumb- HUH?!”
The blonde makes a cross between a terse bark of laughter and a bitter sob, lower lip trembling as they pull back from his teeth in a haunting grin.
“He calls himself a HERO? That scum… That TOTAL FUCKING DIRTBAG!” Jin bellows, fiery surges of anger flaring up between the hiccuping gasps for air as his nose became stuffy.
“They don’t understand. None’a them understand what it’s like to be thrown to the wolves- All us downtrodden folk… Him and all the other pros, they all look down on us! Without a care in the fucking world, without so much as a second thought… they just trample the rest of us so far down into the dirt, I can’t stand it-”
He presses his face into the the hem of Shigaraki’s cape, prostrating himself at the newly reborn Symbol of Destruction’s feet miserably. His fingers claw gently into the soft fabric, holding onto it like a lifeline.
His leader. His Master. His God.
“I wanna fucking kill him so badly… He needs to die… I want that lying piece of hero shit DEAD!”

Send me something to drabble about
A single word, a memory, a piece of the past that you’d like to see in greater detail, a scene between two muses. Let me write and worldbuild, pry into my character’s inner workings.

Eyyy, I’ll try to get to IMs after class today. I doubt I’ll be present on the dash since I have nothing to do on here other than write up a starter and do one reply, so I might try to force out my AfO muse. We’ll see how successful I am at combatting my tired brain.

Seeing the man’s visage before him is akin to facing both the embodiment of his long-held dreams and a distorted shade, the personification of evil itself. Not the kind of evil that was once attributed to Sensei, but a presence so vile, it makes Tomura want to claw at his flesh until it he is torn into little strings, until there is nothing left to be itchy at all.
Tumblr media
His hands curl into claws, but he does not raise them to his neck. No, these weapons thirst for another’s blood first and foremost. “How dare you show your ugly mug?” he practically growls, his gaze wild as though it belonged to a rabid stray. “You killed Sensei when he was already down, only to take all that he built after parading yourself to be better than everyone else. You sure lived up to your title as Symbol of Peace. But that’s heroes for you, right?”
Tomura is shaking, from anger and grief both. Anger at All Might, at the system, at himself for being the cause of Sensei’s imprisonment. Grief because he won’t ever see him again and because he knows he is no match for his killer. He can’t avenge Sensei with the strength he possesses now. “I’m your enemy whether you view it that way or not, so why this sudden show of ‘generosity’?”
@decayman
As much as he had gone over this scenario in his mind, once he was actually facing the other villain, all sort of plans flitted away as though they had grown wings of their own. The look on the other’s face was one he had seen before-full of hatred and disdain and disgust. However, now? Now Toshinori had the blood of Shigaraki’s sensei on his hands (and in his veins) and he was sure that the extra hint only increased the anger between them.
Tumblr media
The nomu he had brought near him were curled up around his feet, their eyes focused on Shigaraki and maws open with drool pooling at the teeth. They remained dormant for the moment, like large dogs, ready to move at the whim of their master who commanded them with the authority All for One had once wielded.
“I’m not here to be your enemy, Tomura Shigaraki. I’m here to make sure your plans still succeed.”

“Huh? How’d you figure that out?” Tomura blinks owlishly, eventually reaching for the bowl. “Thanks though. I’ve been looking forward to your ramen.”
@decayman
“Hey! It’s your birthday? Why didn’t you tell me, man?”
Tumblr media
He plops a bowl of ramen down in front of him. “Here! On the house!”

He waits, confused because he doesn’t know why Kai is still looking at him like that. It feels awkward.

He’s not going to dignify that with a response. It Kirishima tries to punch him, nothing but pain and suffering will await him.
